Can anyone help me? I’m trying to get together a list of media that depicts or is set in what could be considered a “ghost town”, a “ghost city”, a “ghost zone” or otherwise a paranormal settlement of some kind.

I’m judging based on vibes alone, so it could be a settlement of ghosts, monsters, faeries, or even a settlement of humans that is transformed over the course of a story into something other.

Right now the list I have is:

Pan’s Labyrinth

I’m trying to expand and vary this list for a fic I’m writing, but I’m also really interested in the differences between the “ghost towns” that feature sometimes in American Westerns and the “ghost cities” seen specifically in Spirited Away and TGCF.
