I listen to this podcast that's like for (redacted) people and their families and at the end of every episode they feature somebody's special interest and it's always a sweet kid who does posters or has a career planned. where's the love for some customer service manager named like ally or something whose passion for lesbian necromancers kept them from straight up stabbing customers. if you ask me that's had a greater impact on society. people are alive today because of it you know? just as a totally random example

warning/s: none.
author's note: it physically pained me to write soccer instead of football for this lol, a few 'football's might have slipped in out of habit. But yeah, hope you like this! it's a three parter and jackie taylor deserved better oops

My fingers fumbled for the catch at the back of my camera, opening it up and revealing the freshly wound up film. As I grabbed it, I barely had chance to think about my next move before the door behind me slammed into my back, knocking me forward and making the roll fly in the air momentarily.
"No!" I yelped, reaching out to catch it before it could hit the concrete stairs and roll away into oblivion.
"Shit, sorry," someone said with realisation as I caught the roll and sighed with relief.
Gripping the roll tighter than ever, I closed the camera and let it hang from my neck as I turned to see who it was. "It's fine, maybe I should stand somewhere other than the entrance to unload my– shit, are you okay?"
My brows furrowed with concern at the sight of Jackie Taylor, the captain of the girl's soccer team. Her presence wasn't what concerned me, but rather the obvious tears on her face that she awkwardly tried to wipe away when our eyes briefly met.
"Yeah, I'm–" she started, but was interrupted by her own sniffling, and she completely turned away in an attempt to collect herself.
This was the opposite of the Jackie Taylor I'd come to know over the years. Having witnessed her rise into captain as I photographed the team's success – the Yellowjackets – for the school paper had given me enough time with her to know she was usually a happy, confident girl. I'd never seen her cry like this before, especially not at school.
"What happened?" I asked gently.
She shook her head, forcing a smile. "Nothing, I just– I broke up with Jeff."
I wasn't sure what to say at first, familiar with her boyfriend but knowing they were known for having their breaks here and there. Still, this looked worse than usual.
"I'm sorry to hear that," I finally spoke, chewing on my lip. "Is there anything I can do?"
She shook her head, straightening up suddenly. "No. But do you know when the next bus arrives? I was supposed to get a ride home with him, but–"
"No, er, I don't really get–" I started, but amended, "I mean, I can check, but–"
"Forget it," she said with a sigh. "I'll figure it out. Thanks."
Without another word, she walked past me and down the steps. I watched her, debating whether or not to offer her a ride since I knew for certain I'd never seen her catch a bus in my life, and it was well after school hours so they might not even be running now. There was also the fact that she was clearly upset, and my conscious wouldn't rest easy knowing I'd left her alone.
"Jackie, wait," I called out to her, pocketing my film canister and jogging to catch up to her. She stopped, turning around, and I pulled out my car keys. "I can give you a ride."
A little surprised, her hazel eyes widened slightly. "Oh. Are you sure?"
I nodded. "Yeah. C'mon."
She silently followed me to my car, getting into the passenger's seat as I did the driver's. It was never awkward between us before, but our exchanges were always limited to greetings, soccer talk or photo ops. Now however, there was a slight tension in the air, mainly because of her situation. She didn't speak except for when she told me where she lived, and after that, I didn't speak up either, not wanting to pressure her into sharing if she didn't want to.
"Thank you," she muttered halfway through the drive, and I glanced over at her to see her watching me apologetically. "Is your camera thingy okay? Whatever I knocked?"
"The film, yeah," I assured her. "No worries. It was just the roll from the baseball game yesterday. So pretty low value considering they always lose."
It was a poor attempt to make her laugh, since it was universally known that the school baseball team were below average, especially compared to the Yellowjackets, but it seemed to work as she let out a quiet chuckle. I smiled, glad she was cheered up a little.
"Well, sorry anyway," she added politely.
I shrugged. "No harm done."
Another silence fell upon us the remainder of the drive to hers, but it wasn't awkward any longer. Once I pulled up outside her house, I tried not to let my amazement at how huge her place was show. I'd always known she was rich, but this was another level.
"Thanks for the ride," she spoke, pulling me from my stupor.
I met her gaze, expression softening slightly. "You gonna be okay?"
She nodded, and I had no choice but to believe her.
"Okay then. Well, see you tomorrow, Jackie."
She smiled a little before getting out the car and heading inside. Despite her feigned confidence, it was obvious she wasn't happy, and I only hoped she would feel better tomorrow. Whatever had happened between her and Jeff hadn't been like the usual, not judging by the state of her.
Tumblr media
The next day after school was when I had chance to properly check on Jackie. I was at the Yellowjackets' practice, shooting for the yearbook, and she was there too.
"You gonna make us look good, right, Y/L/N?" Nat, one of the players, asked when she saw me heading on the field.
"Always," I returned with a smile, and she grinned as she jogged away to get started.
My eyes scanned the field before I spotted Jackie by the goal, using the post to stretch. I subtly approached her, not wanting to draw too much attention in case she hadn't told anyone about the breakup.
"Hey, Jackie," I greeted her, making her pause from her stretching. "How are you doing? Y'know, about the yesterday thing?"
She smiled gratefully, nodding. "I'm good, Y/N, thanks."
I wasn't sure if she was telling the truth, but I also didn't expect her to confide in me, so I simply nodded.
"Good, well... if you ever wanna talk about it, I'm here."
"Thanks," she said quietly, smile fading a little. "I appreciate it."
I gave her a genuine smile. "Anytime."
And with that, I left her to it, feeling a lot better knowing I'd at least offered up my help.
Tumblr media
The Yellowjackets' soccer game was after school at the end of that same week, and I was paying them a visit beforehand to wish them luck and also gift them some candid portraits they'd asked for a few weeks ago.
When I let myself in their locker room, they were pretty much dressed in their uniforms, some helping each other out with braiding their hair back or engaging in some pre-game superstitions. It always made me smile because they never failed to hype themselves up and it showed.
"Heeeeeyyyyy! Y/N's here with our close ups!" someone shouted, and everybody cheered as I rolled my eyes playfully.
First on the pile of photos in my hand was Van, who I found searching in her locker whilst singing along to a song that was blasting from the stereo in the corner.
"There's my favourite goalie," I greeted, and she laughed as I handed her the photograph in a plastic wallet. "For you. The one you liked in the paper, right?"
She straightened up when she saw it, smile brightening on her face. "Oh, hell yeah, this is so badass! Thanks, Y/N!"
"No worries," I said dismissively, before moving around the room to hand out the rest of the photos.
Everybody seemed pleased with what they got, which was always reassuring to hear since it was supposed to be my best skill.
"Last but not least, Jackie," I said, finding the team captain by her locker, fixing her hair in the mirror that hung inside.
She flashed me a smile as I handed her the photograph. In it, she was mid-kicking a ball into the net, scoring a goal for the team.
"Y/N, I love it," she said with gratitude, eyes taking the whole image in before looking up to me. "Thank you."
I held out another photograph, earning a confused look from her. "It's a little bonus photo. Thought it might cheer you up after everything."
She raised her eyebrows slightly, before accepting the photo and studying it. This one was a photo I'd taken at the Yellowjackets' last game, moments after they'd won. Jackie was cheering with her teammates and I'd managed to take the perfect picture of her as she was surrounded by them, a grin on her face, eyes bursting with excitement. It was probably my favourite of the two.
"You didn't need to..." she started, but stopped herself. And then she surprised me with a hug, wrapping her one free hand around my neck. "I really appreciate it."
Before I could even think to hug her back, she pulled away to give me a heartwarming smile.
"Anytime," I told her, acutely aware of the mild butterflies in my stomach from her gaze, but that was merely because I wasn't stupid and Jackie Taylor was very pretty. "If you're ever thinking about you-know-what, just remember. At the end of the day, he's just some guy."
Her smile widened and then she let out a laugh. "Very true. I won't forget."
I smiled, nodding and taking a step back. "I'll leave you to finish getting ready. Good luck tonight. Not that you'll need it."
"Be sure to get my best side," she joked, turning her head to the left.
I laughed. "Jackie Taylor doesn't have a bad side."
She winked playfully, and I left her to it as I headed out to the field to get ready to photograph tonight's game.
Tumblr media
As expected, the Yellowjackets won and I got a lot of good shots in of their winning goals. Even though a lot of the photos were similar to others I'd taken, I didn't mind it as it challenged me to try out different things with my camera, like messing with the shutter speed or even using a double exposure to create cool effects.
After snapping some final shots of the team celebrating on the pitch, I moved out the way of the friends and family who were there with them and focused on changing the roll of film in my camera. Just after rewinding the current roll and opening the back of my camera, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder unexpectedly. Startled yet again, my hands twitched and the roll flew up and out the camera. I managed to catch it before it could fall into the grass, and turned around to find Jackie failing to stifle her laughter.
"I'm sorry, Y/N, I didn't mean to scare you again," she said apologetically.
"Oh, it's fine," I said sarcastically, stuffing the roll into the canister in my pocket. "It's only the winning goals on film."
She sighed through her nose, her lips pursed into an amused smile. "Sorry. I came because the girls wanted a team photo."
I gave her a knowing look. "On it."
After gathering the team together and replacing my film, I took a few photos of them with their medals and trophy before my job was officially done for the afternoon.
"They come out good?" Jackie asked afterwards, as I put my camera away.
"I'd like to think so," I said sarcastically, making her roll her eyes lightheartedly.
"So, the party tonight," she started, piquing my interest. "You're coming, right?"
I quirked a brow. "Huh?"
"It's at the usual spot," she added.
I pursed my lips, unsure how to tell her that though I knew what she was talking about and I'd always been invited, the post-soccer game party wasn't my thing.
"You don't usually come, do you?" she caught on, crossing her arms with amusement.
"It's not really my scene," I admitted.
"Well, d'you wanna perhaps make a change tonight?" she asked, pleading with her eyes. "I'd love to see you there."
I wasn't sure why she suddenly wanted me there – maybe because I'd been extra nice to her recently and she felt she owed me? And I also wasn't sure if she knew the effect she had on people when she gave them her whole 'innocent doe-eyed' look, but maybe she did since it seemed to work.
"Fine," I gave in reluctantly, making her grin. I nodded to my best friend, Y/BF/N, who was sat in the stands as she made notes on tonight's game – she was a journalist for the paper. "Can I bring Y/BF/N?"
"Duh," she said like it was a dumb question. "You're both always welcome."
I nodded. "Okay, I guess I'll see you tonight."
She tilted her head, eyes sparkling with her usual Jackie mischief. "See you tonight."
Tumblr media
"I'm so glad Jackie convinced you," Y/BF/N was saying with excitement as I drove us to the deserted clearing where the party was being held. "I've always wanted to go to one of these things, but you always say no."
"I've literally never stopped you," I said, giving her a sideways glance.
"I couldn't just go without you," she said, in a somewhat sweet way which made me feel guilty for never going to one of these things with her.
"Well, feel free to go crazy tonight," I said with a slight smile. "I'm driving."
"Oh, you bet I will," she said eagerly, making me laugh.
When we got there, the party was in full swing. A bonfire was set up in the middle, with a lot of people from our grade hanging about. Some were dancing, drinking and chatting away, celebrating the Yellowjackets' win. As Y/BF/N and I passed a few of our classmates to reach Jackie and the team, I was reminded why parties weren't my scene, but sucked it up for Y/BF/N.
"And there she is!" Nat shouted, spotting me first and pulling me in for a side hug. "When Jackie told us you were coming, I could swear she was bullshitting."
"It's good to see you too, Nat," I laughed.
"And Y/BF/N is out tonight too," Lottie noticed with a smile. "It's nice to have you both here."
"Anything to support the team," Y/BF/N played along, making everyone laugh. "Now, what's a girl gotta do to get a drink around here?"
As Nat tugged her away to find her a drink, Jackie approached my side and nudged me gently.
"I'm glad you made it," she said, eyes doing a once over of me which admittedly made me nervous. "You look pretty. And it's the first time I've seen you without a camera, who knew it was possible?"
I rolled my eyes, though a smile ghosted my lips. Judging from her stifled grin, she was impressed at her own joke.
"You want a drink?" she offered, already about to leave and grab me one, but I shook my head politely.
"Thanks, but I'm designated driver tonight."
"Me and you both," Shauna said, raising her cup of water.
I cracked a smile as Jackie looked back to me hopefully.
"Okay, well how about a dance?"
I tried to hide my surprise, unsure if I could handle dancing with the Jackie Taylor without freaking out. No, I wasn't insanely head over heels for the girl, but yes, I had eyes and knew I'd get nervous dancing with a flirt like her.
"Maybe when a good song comes on," I settled on the safe response.
She studied me curiously. "Hmm. And what's a good song?"
I listened to the music that was on now, definitely not my style, and truthfully answered, "Definitely not this. Maybe some [your favourite artist]?"
She sighed defeatedly. "Your lucky day. I don't think anybody brought that tape."
I shrugged playfully. "Shame."
It was her turn to roll her eyes, feigning annoyance, but she got me a cup of water nonetheless and I stayed to chat with her, Shauna and a few others in her team. Y/BF/N returned with Nat not long later, and conversation soon changed from the soccer game to the paper. I didn't mind, enjoying talking to them about it all, as did Y/BF/N, but then a few of them were after some more fun 'party' stuff, and headed over to get a little more drunk.
Shauna and I, designated drivers as we'd established, stuck together for most of the evening. She watched as Jackie danced the night away with the others, and I watched as Y/BF/N had the time of her life, flirting with some of the jocks. By the time an hour and a half passed and my social battery had completely drained, Y/BF/N was pretty drunk and I knew we had to leave.
I said my goodbyes to Shauna before finding Jackie to the do the same. She wasn't as drunk as Y/BF/N, but definitely tipsy. As soon as she spun around, a massive grin fell on her lips and she hugged me.
"Okay," I said with surprise, receiving a lot more hugs from Jackie Taylor this past week than I had in my life. "I've gotta get Y/BF/N home now, Jackie. Just wanted to say goodnight."
"Thank you for coming," she said, pulling back with a drunken smile, but alert eyes. "And for the photos you gave me. And in general, for being a really great friend."
Yep, definitely bordering drunk.
"Thanks for inviting me tonight," I said, patting her arm before letting go. "I... liked it."
Okay, maybe not, but she was trying to be nice and I had to return the favour.
Jackie Taylor wasn't stupid though, even in this state, and a quiet chuckle from her told me all I need to know. "You owe me a dance."
"One day, maybe," I breathed out, glancing at her.
She smirked. "I'll take it."
Tumblr media
Jackie had always been friendly with me around school, but since that week, it was as if she made more of an effort to be. Whether it was saying hi to me in the hallways, smiling at me between classes or chatting to me more whenever I was taking photos, she was more involved in my life. I didn't hate it of course, but it was something new.
One weekend, I was running some errands around town when I decided to finish up at one of my favourite coffee shops and treat myself. Armed with my purse and current read, I headed in and ordered myself a mocha with the intention of settling in the corner of the store and having some 'me' time. Of course, when I collected my drink from the counter, a familiar voice called my name and I spun around with furrowed brows.
To my surprise, it was Jackie waving at me from her table by the window, seated opposite Shauna. It felt a little rude to ignore her, so I headed over and smiled at them both.
"Fancy seeing you here," Jackie said with a grin, before motioning next to Shauna. "Join us?"
I glanced at Shauna, who had a welcoming smile on her face, so I replied, "Oh, er, thanks. Good to see you guys!"
As I took my seat, I left my bag next to me, expecting my reading time to become nonexistent now that I'd joined the two soccer players.
"We're not bothering you, are we?" Shauna asked considerately, making me smile with amusement because she was so different to an oblivious Jackie.
"Nah, you're good," I assured her, before looking between them. "What are you two up to then?"
"Oh, just having a girls day," Jackie answered, leaning back in her seat and flashing me her signature smile. "How about you?"
"Just running some errands," I said with a shrug. "Picking up some more film, getting some stuff for my mum, not much."
"So, I take it you finished the English assignment due tomorrow?" Shauna asked.
"Oh, yeah, got that done weeks ago," I said like it was a silly question, and then I saw the look Shauna shot Jackie and realised. "Wait, you haven't finished it?"
Jackie scoffed playfully. "Oh, come on, of course I have!" When Shauna kept staring at her, she continued, "I just need to write the conclusion."
"And the introduction," Shauna mumbled.
"Okay, yes, fine," Jackie gave in. "But it'll be done!"
I quirked a brow at her. "You not even worried? Mr. C isn't known for his leniency."
"Oh, Mr. C does not scare me," she said with assuredness. "Besides, I reckon I can talk him into giving me a two day extension."
I exhaled, trying not to laugh. "Of course you can."
I was convinced that there wasn't something Jackie Taylor couldn't do, and judging by the satisfied smile on her lips, I think she knew it too.
The three of us stayed there as I finished my coffee, and continued to sit there chatting about all sorts. I'd never really hung out with them properly outside of school, so I was oddly surprised with how well we got along.
Eventually, Shauna checked her watch and was sorry to interrupt our fruitless conversation about the rumours regarding our Chemistry teacher and IT teacher hooking up.
"I'm sorry, guys, but I gotta shoot off," she said with a slight frown.
"Oh, no worries," I said, straightening up, ready to leave the booth so she could leave.
"Aw no, really, Shauna?" Jackie said with a pout. "It's not even been an hour!"
"Hey, I'm not stopping you from staying, but you'll have to catch the bus home," Shauna replied with a chuckle, making Jackie scrunch her nose with disgust.
As I got up, letting Shauna stand, I realised what the problem was and looked to Jackie. "I don't mind giving you a ride."
And just like that, her smile returned. "Really?"
I shrugged. "No biggie."
"Awesome, thanks, Y/N," Shauna said gratefully, squeezing my shoulder. "Can't have Princess Jackie stranded without a carriage."
I laughed as Jackie rolled her eyes at the insult, and Shauna tried to hide her smile as she said her goodbyes.
"It's not that funny," Jackie stated, when she saw the smile still on my lips.
"It kind of is," I said with a breathy chuckle.
She crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes at me lightheartedly. Now that we were alone, I figured now was a better time than any to properly check in on her.
"So, how have you been doing?" I asked carefully. "Since the whole you-know-what?"
Unlike the last time I asked her a few weeks ago, she actually seemed to be doing a lot better, no hint of sadness in her eyes. "Pretty good. Think I might be over it now. You know how boys can be."
I hummed, awkward smile forming on my lips as I suddenly distracted myself with whatever was going on outside the window. I failed to remember how observant Jackie was though.
"Wait, have you never had a boyfriend?" she asked with surprise, leaning forward slightly.
I settled with shaking my head, and she tried to make me feel better by shrugging and sipping her milkshake from the straw.
"You're not missing out on much," she assured me.
I couldn't help but snicker, shaking my head, though grateful for her attempt at putting me at ease. "That's what people who've had boyfriends usually say."
She smiled, cheeks dusting pink when I caught her out, and now it was my turn to assure her.
"It's fine," I said nonchalantly. "Boys are gross anyway."
She snorted with amusement. "Amen. It would just be easier to date girls, wouldn't it?"
I was surprised she'd said that, staying quiet for a second too long, and her eyes widened with realisation.
Suddenly embarrassed, she stuttered, "Oh, you like– I mean, you're– you're a–"
"Lesbian?" I finished with an entertained smile. She nodded awkwardly, and I confirmed, "Yeah, but I don't exactly go around shouting it out. People don't tend to react well when they find out."
She exhaled softly, eyes flittering around the table nervously. "Oh. Well, I won't tell anyone if that's what you're worried about."
I shrugged, soaking in a flustered Jackie for a little longer, holding in my laughter. Truthfully, it was very amusing watching her figure out the best reaction because I knew she was harmless. It would have been easy to embarrass her a little more for fun, but she was clearly going through it with her deep pink cheeks, now matching the colour of her lips.
After a moment of collecting herself, her hazel eyes met mine in an attempt to return to normal. "So, are there any girls you're interested in?"
It was impossible not to laugh now as I gave her a questioning look. "Really, Jackie?"
She nodded quickly, eyes returning to the table. "Right. Sorry."
I giggled at her expression before changing the subject, knowing it would definitely make her feel better. Despite my confidence in my sexuality, a small part of me hoped she wouldn't treat me any different after finding out, and thankfully, she didn't. We still chatted like usual, enjoying each other's company, until she finished her milkshake and it was time to head off.
It might have been the sugar from her milkshake, or just her plain inability to sit still, but when I was driving home, she wouldn't stop messing around with the radio stations, trying to find a good song.
"Oh my god, you're driving me insane," I finally said, making her stop.
"Not my fault the radio is garbage," she said in a knowing tone.
I rolled my eyes playfully before nodding to the centre console. "I have some cassettes. Find something you like and please stop breaking my radio."
She smiled cheekily before doing just that, flicking through the tapes I had. Finally, she decided on some Mariah Carey and managed to keep quiet the rest of the way. Occasionally she'd hum along, but I much preferred that over her touching the radio a million times.
When we reached her house, I pulled up outside and offered her a smile. "Was cool hanging out with you and Shauna today."
"It was," she agreed, before grabbing her purse and resting her hand on the door handle. "We should do it again sometime."
I shrugged, not minding, and her smile widened before she got out.
Leaning her head down to look at me through the open window, she added, "Thanks for the ride. Again."
I cleared my throat, a smile ghosting my lips as I said, "In the wise words of Shauna Shipman, we can't have Princess Jackie stranded without a–"
"Ass," she mumbled, leaving before I could finish, but a smile crossed her expression as I laughed to myself.
I suppose hanging out with Jackie Taylor wasn't so bad.

Chapter 1- Welcome to Charming
Tumblr media
Juice x OC!
Word Count:1448
"You're joking right!? I thought that Bitch was clean?"
Getting the call that your nephew was born pre-maturely was just added to the list of shit things that happened this month.
When your car gets totaled in a drive by, you're missing a few hundred for your rent and your daughter going to daycare that cost a hefty penny while working a barely minimum wage job to make ends meet it's the last thing you want to hear from your mother. I pace back and forth in the back alley of the shelter on the phone with mom
"Look, you know I don't beg, but your brother needs his sister right now, his best friend, the only person that really knows what's going on inside his head" My mother pleads through the phone. I contemplate looking at the ground "Look, I have to talk it over with my manager and I'll let you know if I can make it down" I murmured into the phone.
"Okay baby, I love you" She sighed and hung up. Looking down at the blank screen staring at my reflection I can already tell what my answer is going to be. I sigh and push my phone back into my pocket and head back in to talk to my manager.
•*'¨'*~ஜ◦•◦✿◦•◦ೋஜ~*'¨'*¸. •*
The bus comes to a stop outside of the auto shop, I grab my bag and head out onto the sidewalk and push my way into the store. "Hey Ed! I'm here for the cutlass" I yell out to the oil-stained man near the car
"Hey sweetheart, I just gotta grab the paperwork and I'll meet you at the front desk" He smiles before heading into the back office. Ed was the sweet old man who worked at the auto shop that didn't degrade me the second I opened the doors; His wife would occasionally watch Amara for me while I work.
I walk through the doors to the office and start to fill out my paperwork, it cost me a good amount to fix the cutlass, but I need a car if I plan to make the long trip back to charming. Once I was finished, I head over to the chairs and sit down and wait for the car to be brought up. I decide to call my manager and ask for a few weeks off.
•*'¨'*~ஜ◦•◦✿◦•◦ೋஜ~*'¨'*¸. •*
Getting off the phone with my manager with an angry huff, He tried to tell me I couldn't take off because of scheduling issues, so I did what any smart woman would do, and I quit, and I guess it looks like I'm moving back to charming indefinitely. I jump up when I see the cutlass being driven from the back of the lot and head over as the car comes to a stop.
"You got a beautiful ride here Val" Ed says, I chuckle and head over to the driver side as he gets out "Thanks, it only took me about six years for it to be mine." he throws me the keys
"Well, I'll see you later sweetheart, please don't be stranger, and you have our numbers in case you ever need anything " Ed walks over and pulls me into a tight hug, "Oh, Ed you're going to make me cry" I sniffle while embracing him tighter. Ed releases me from the embrace with a pat to my cheek and guides me to the open car door.
I start the car while Ed shuts the door. "I love you sweetheart; tell Amara we'll miss her", "I love you too Ed and I will, I'll see you soon" I sniffle and pull out of the lot towards Amara's daycare.
•*'¨'*~ஜ◦•◦✿◦•◦ೋஜ~*'¨'*•.¸¸.•*
I rush to the daycare front desk as sandy gives me one of her ever so lovely glares "Yeah, you don't need to tell me, I know I'm three minutes late " I exasperate to her "Whatever Just get your daughter so we can leave" she gives me another glare before facing her computer
"Bitch" I murmur as I walk to the rooms.
I shove one of the doors open and see my daughter on the ground playing with some blocks with a few other kids. "Hey, I'm here for Amara" I tell one of the aids.
"Okay" she looks away and calls for her "Amara? Your mom is here sweetie!" She looks up sees me in the doorway and I smile "Mommy!" she gets up and runs her little legs over to me
"Hi love" I catch her and give her some well needed hugs "You ready to head home?" I feel her head nod as she lays in the crook of my neck. I nod to the aid and make my way out to the front office I put Amara down "Mommy needs you to cover your ears, okay?" She nods and covers her ears
"Sandy you can unenroll us since were leaving and I'm going to call your supervisor for how you talked to me, so good luck finding another job skank!" She gasps and stares as I pick Amara up and make our way out to the cutlass, I buckle her in and start to make my way home to pack.
•*'¨'*~ஜ◦•◦✿◦•◦ೋஜ~*'¨'*•.¸¸.•*
I have Amara set up in the living room with her favorite cartoon on while I start packing "Oh shit! I forgot to call mom and tell her" I pick up my phone and dial her number
"Hello?" my mom's-tired voice travels through the phone "Hey mom, sorry If I woke you, just wanted to let you know that I'm moving back down" "What! are you serious!" She almost yells
"Yeah mom, but when I come down, I have a lot of explaining to do about somethings that have happened. "I sigh "Are you okay? did anyone hurt you baby because you know me and Cla--"
I cut her off "No mom I'm fine, just some stuff happened that's pretty big. Look I'll start heading down in a few hours I'm almost done packing everything" "Alright sweetheart, you call me when your almost here I'll have the spare set up.  I love you Val" "I love you too mom" I smile and hang up the phone.
•*'¨'*~ஜ◦•◦✿◦•◦ೋஜ~*'¨'*•.¸¸.•*
I was up all night packing everything into bags while Amara slept and managed to get all bags in to the car. Even though we lived here for two and half years I didn't own a lot, my daughter has more than me so it was pretty easy to pack all of our stuff.
Once everything Is in the car I go and wake Amara and get her dressed and decide to stop by a small diner and get us breakfast before hitting the road. After about two-hours of driving and three pit stops I drive past the 'Welcome to Charming' sign and the surprising sigh of relief escapes me. After another twenty minutes I call mom to let her know I'm almost there.
"Hello"
"Hey mom, just wanted to let you know I'm a few minutes out so I should be there soon" "Okay good, just to let you know the guys don't know you're coming only me, and clay know"
"Well, this should be fun then" I snicker a little and say my goodbye's before hanging up.
•*'¨'*~ஜ◦•◦✿◦•◦ೋஜ~*'¨'*•.¸¸.•*
I pull into the clubhouse lot and turn into a parking spot "You ready baby?"
"Yes mommy" I smile through the rearview, I unbuckle and step out to see mom spot me as she exits the doors to the office. She starts to slightly jog over "Oh my baby" she engulfs me in a tight hug   "Hey momma" I hug back just as tightly
We release from the hug and cradles my face into her hands "I'm so happy your here, don't ever leave for that long again" she slightly scolds "Believe me I won't, actually before we go any further there's something I need to tel--" I'm cut off
"Mommy! Can I have more juice please?" I freeze and look at my mom who reciprocates the look, She steps back to peer into the back window to see her smiling and waving
"Hi!" Amara smiles big
"Hi?" she stands back up and turns to me "who's the kid?" she glares questioningly
"That's what I needed to talk to you about and there's more but for right now can we just take it one step at a time? Please mom"
"Alright, but we are definitely talking about how you made me a grandma years before your brother." she smirks while pointing her finger at me. "Wow, and see now you have two grandchildren" I laugh as she playfully slaps my back
"Go get my grandbaby so I can meet her" she demands while smirking.

Two-stick Popsicle | Choso
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SYNOPSIS: Modern Band AU - You're on tour with them.
READER: gender neutral
WORDS: 1002
WRITTEN: 04/01/2021
NOTES: Not the best but I liked the idea. I'm so bad at writing Choso. Thank you for the idea/request @imshiftingtobnha
Tumblr media
You weren't even a member of Choso's band, the Blood Brothers. You were just a simple childhood friend who wanted a taste of what they had without having to participate in the band since you couldn't sing or play an instrument.
At first, his band wasn't famous like Taylor Swift or Harry Styles, but they did get gigs at small pubs and concerts. It required moving to a more populated area since their small town didn’t have many tourists.
Eventually, due to the videos you would film and post on YouTube, they got more views and recognition. Companies started contacting them and they eventually got an agent.
They started getting booked more and more, and what started as a fun small-time activity turned into a tour.
They were on the road in a large tour bus with their own personal driver. You remembered when Eso used to be the driver of their small van.
It was so crowded that you would be pressed up against Choso in the back since Kechizu sat in the front.
But even now, you were still with them. Either of the brothers could have told you to go back to the small town you all grew up in, but they liked your company.
Even with their larger budget and team, you continued to film the behind-the-scenes for fun.
The tour bus had two bunk beds with curtains. You slept on the bottom bunk, while Choso was on top of you. Across from the two of you were Eso and Kechizu.
You sneezed while scrolling through Instagram on your phone. Choso's hand appeared from the side, holding a tissue.
"Bless you."
"Thank you," you said as you took the tissue from him.
You heard him hum as his hand retracted, returning to his top of the bed. You wiped your nose and continued scrolling.
Above, Choso was texting his brothers in their group chat. He was furiously texting and his brothers, who were across from him in their beds, were stifling their laughs.
'Did you hear that? The sneeze was so cute.'
Choso had a crush on you and he had ever since you were children. He remembered the day he met you when he was only 10-years-old.
Your grandfather ran a small shop full of trinkets and sweets for tourists. He usually stayed behind the counter, flipping through a newspaper while you sat outside on the bench with some sort of sweet.
Choso and his family had just moved to your small town and he was feeling bored, so he decided to go out into town.
His brothers didn't feel like walking, so he went alone. It was quiet and he could hear the cicadas. It was a hot day and he could feel the sweat forming on the back of his neck.
When he got home, he would ask his grandmother to cut his hair. With this weather, he'd prefer being bald.
When he heard the sound of bells ringing, he headed toward the sound. It was coming from the wind chimes hanging from your grandfather's shop.
You were sitting on the bench, swinging your legs back and forth while licking a two-stick popsicle.
"I've never seen you before," you called out.
"I just moved here."
"Want a popsicle?"
"I didn't bring money," he said.
"That's okay. You can have my half."
You held out your popsicle to him and he approached you, hand reaching out for the second stick.
He tugged on it, splitting the popsicle in half perfectly. You smiled briefly before biting into your half.
"Aren't you hot with your long hair?" you asked.
Your cute pigtails swung as you talked to him. He sat next to you on the bench.
"Yeah."
"Here. I'll help you out," you said.
You shoved the popsicle into your mouth and took out one of your hair-ties from your pigtails, then wrapped his hair into a spiky bun.
"I'm not good at doing hair," you said once you took the popsicle out of your mouth. "My pops does it for me. Now, we're matching."
Since that day, the two of you were inseparable.
"Cho, do you want me to brush your hair before I go to sleep?" you asked.
He hopped out of the bunk and held his hand out, helping you out of bed. The two of you walked to the mini living room. He sat in front of you and you took out the buns before brushing through his hair.
He sat in front of you quietly, enjoying the feeling of your fingers combing through his hair and gently tugging through the knots.
The phone in his hand was blowing up in texts from his brothers. All of the texts were either pictures of you two they were secretly taking from their beds or texts telling him to confess to you.
"Y/N, have you ever thought about dating?" Choso questioned.
You tilted your head to the side and hummed in thought. You were silent for a moment while combing through his hair.
"I guess so. I've only ever imagined it with the person I like though," you answered.
His heart stopped for a moment as he tried to recollect his thoughts. His hand gripped his phone tightly as he forced himself to answer you.
"Do I know the person?"
You were silent again, but he didn't turn around to look at you. It had been more than a decade since meeting Choso, and every day with him was full of smiles.
"Yeah, it's you," you whispered.
Not believing his ears, he sat there, frozen. You stopped brushing his hair and waited for him to say something.
Finally, he twisted his body around to look at you. His eyes were wide in surprise.
"Really?"
"Mhm."
"I like you too," he said.
You smiled and leaned in to kiss him on the nose. "Let's go to bed."
"Can I sleep you with tonight?"
"You won't fit, silly," you said with a chuckle.
"I'll make it fit."

You Bring Me Home — Chapter One: Flightless Bird, American Mouth
Tumblr media
a/n: I've been working on this story for mooonths now and I'm so excited to finally share it with the world! It's heavily inspired by Harry's Behind the Album mini doc, except I changed the setting to Hawai'i because I've personally spent some time there and as they say, write what you know! YBMH takes place in the period between One Direction's hiatus and Harry's first album/tour, but with that being said, this is entirely a work of fiction and some events don't follow the true timeline. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my little story, I hope you love it as much as I do! It will be updated every Friday at 5 PM PST. My inbox is open, so feel free to talk to me once you've finished reading! I'd love to hear from you :) Much love, Mel <3
Pairing: Hawai'i!Harry x Original Character
Warnings: swearing
Word Count: 5.5k
Tumblr media
May, 2016
Harry watches LAX get smaller through the airplane window and visualizes all of his worries stuck at the terminal gate, their magnitude also diminishing as he takes flight. He sinks lower in his seat and skims through playlists on his phone when a nagging feeling at the back of his mind pulls his attention away from the screen. Looking up from the song choices, he spots a cell phone quickly lowered from his line of vision and a girl with flushed cheeks who quickly averts her gaze. Harry shoots a tight-lipped smile in her direction and goes back to his phone with a sigh. The days when he could roam the streets freely without fear of recognition—or worse, harassment—feel like an entirely different lifetime. He sometimes imagines that he’ll wake up back in his childhood bed as if the past five years had all been a dream, but he never does. In fact, his privacy and anonymity seem to dwindle with each minute of radio play that One Direction receives. It’s a bittersweet pill to swallow, but one he hopes will go down easier with some time in the Hawaiian sun.
His close friend and new manager, Jeff Azoff, had suggested the vacation as soon as the band privately agreed to take a hiatus.
“You’ll go home for a few weeks,” his voice had crackled through the speakers of Harry’s phone. “Visit your mom and Gem, lay low for a while until the smoke blows over,”
Harry mulled it over in his mind, eyes flickering over the rolling landscape outside of the tour bus window.
“Then what?”
“Then you go for a little vacation. The label offered to cover a house in Hawaii so you can start working on the album,”
“Alone?”
Jeff chuckled lightly on the other end before responding. “I mean, if that’s what you want,”
“No,” Harry corrected. “You and Tom should come. Mitch and Bhasker, too,”
“The dream team,”
“And there’ll be a studio there?”
“Yes,” Jeff started, almost hesitant. “But I don’t want you to think about that too much,”
“But you said the label—"
“I also said vacation. Look, Rob said ‘it will all happen in due time,' did he not?”
Harry twisted the rose ring around his finger, tracing over the silver petals and thinking back to his conversation with the CEO of Sony Music, Rob Stringer. Upon the proposal of his debut solo album, Rob had told him that the most important ingredient for a successful debut would be patience. The singer had agreed in the moment, but every day not spent in the studio felt like a test he hadn’t studied hard enough for.
“Yeah.”
“So you take the free vacation,” Jeff suggested. “You go out, live, get some writing material. Maybe mess around with some tunes. And then we come back to L.A. and get to work. But until then, I just want you to focus on taking it easy.”
So take it easy he had. Or at least he had tried to when he was back home in England. Harry quickly grew restless after what felt like the millionth awkward conversation with past friends and acquaintances, all of which eventually led to the topic of One Direction and it’s unexpected hiatus. After one month at home, his mind and journal were full of ideas for songs, things that he wanted to say before he lost his nerve. One night as he tossed and turned in bed, he shot Jeff a text, just two words that would kick off a three month getaway to the Big Island of Hawai'i:
I’m ready.
********
“Sounds great, I'll go put in your order.” Alani offers sweetly, trying not to overdo it with the customer service voice. After waiting on the family at her designated table, she heads back to the kitchen and finds her younger sister, Pua, crouched in the corner taking what appears to be a serious phone call.
“I don’t know, I just saw it!” Her sister cries in a hushed tone. “Where do you think he’s going?”
“Is everything okay?” Alani cuts in with concern.
Pua whispers into the speaker before bringing the phone to her shoulder.
“Harry Styles was just spotted on a plane this morning,”
“Who?”
“The guy from One Direction,” her sister explains with a hint of irritation in her voice. “The band who sings that song you secretly like, ‘Fireproof,'”
Alani vaguely recalls the melody, but she waits expectantly for Pua to elaborate. “And this is news because…”
“Because the band just broke up, so where could he possibly be going?”
"The unemployment office?”
Pua rolls her eyes and returns to her phone call while Alani envelops her in a tight hug.
“I’m just kidding!” Alani apologizes, squeezing tighter despite her sister’s attempts to break free. “I’m sure he’ll be living off of royalty checks until he’s, like, eighty,”
“Get off me, freak!” Pua cries out, finally breaking the embrace.
Alani clutches her chest and pulls out an invisible knife. “Ouch. I’m telling Harry you said that,”
“This is exactly why I don’t tell you things.” the younger sister huffs, storming out of the kitchen through the employee entrance where Alani’s best friend, Maleah, has just arrived.
“Looks like someone forgot to eat their Cheerios today,” she remarks, tying her curls into a high ponytail.
Alani shrugs and leans against the counter. “She’s going through something. Just discovered that boys in pop bands are, in fact, just regular boys.”
“Poor thing,” Maleah frowns. “We all have to learn eventually.”
********
The sky is a blend of cotton candy pink and burnt orange when Alani returns home from the café with a strawberry smoothie in tow. She empties the mailbox and sorts through the various bills and advertisements, but her stomach drops when she sees a familiar return address label. After a quick greeting to her excited dog who waits at the door, Alani bolts up the stairs and quietly shuts the bedroom door behind her. Breathe, she reminds herself before tearing into the envelope and discarding it onto the wooden floor.
Dear Ms. Hale,
We are very grateful to have received your submission to Rolling Stone magazine. However, we regret to inform you—
She doesn’t read the rest, slumping to the floor in defeat. The sixth rejection letter from Rolling Stone lies crumpled at Alani’s feet and she kicks it across the room with a frustrated grunt. She had worked for over two months perfecting her analysis of Joni Mitchell’s Big Yellow Taxi and its allusions to the environmental impact of urban development in Hawaii. As part of her initial research, Alani had even traveled to both the Royal Hawaiian hotel in Honolulu, which is the famous Pink Hotel mentioned in the song, and Foster Botanical Garden that Mitchell referred to as “the tree museum.” She was certain that her effort and persistence would result in at least a consideration. The second third time's the charm! Maleah had joked watching Alani submit the piece. Six articles in the span of two years, each one facing the same rejection despite the increased effort Alani had put in over time. The fact that the rejection letter hadn’t changed over the course of the two years brings an incredulous smile to her face, and her stomach turns when she considers that the editors probably hadn’t even read her work, anyway. All that effort, she thinks to herself, all that time, for nothing.
“It will take time,” her favorite professor, Dr. Hudson, had reassured her three months after the Joni Mitchell article was submitted. “Every great writer faced countless rejection until that one piece. Yours will come. Keep your eyes open and your pen ready.”
Alani sighs and lifts herself off the floor, choosing to crawl into her unmade bed instead of slumping onto the hardwood. She hears a soft scratching at the door before her King Charles Spaniel, Freddie, pads into the room.
“Come here, bubs,” Alani whispers. He obeys and burrows into the duvet, giving her temple a gentle lick before nuzzling into the nape of her neck.
“You still love me, right?” she asks, voice cracking. “Even if I’m a failure?”
Freddie sniffs her ear in response.
********
“Right,” Harry says, his tongue peeking from the corner of his mouth as he reads the map. “No, left, sorry,”
“Do you actually know how to read a map?” Jeff teases, correcting the turn.
Harry pouts in response, his brows furrowing. “In my defense, we’re literally in the middle of fucking nowhere,”
“There are worse places to be,” Mitch pipes up from the back seat. “England, for example, where they say things like ‘litchrally’,”
“Very well said, Mitchell,” Jeff Bhasker adds with a fake British accent of his own.
Harry turns to his friends in the back seat with a finger pointed like an agitated mother. “If you lot don’t shut up, I’m gonna lead us to a volcano and push you in,”
“Where are we even going? I forgot,” Tom complains.
“To get food,” his manager responds from the driver’s seat. “I think,”
“Why can’t we just stop there?” Mitch asks pointing to a café pulling up on their right.
Jeff merges into the turning lane quickly without a second thought. “Good enough for me, I’m starving.”
“Sorry, H.” Mitch pats his friend on the shoulder.
Harry scoffs. “You’re the one who wanted poke.”
The Aloha Nui Loa Café is much more spacious than the exterior suggests, yet it still feels cozy. The walls are painted sage green and adorned with various local art pieces, as described by the plaques that accompany them. A skylight fills the center of the room with plenty of warm lighting, leaving the space along the walls in a bit more shade for an intimate feel. In one corner, a hanging disco ball leaves freckles of sparkling light along the walls where the sunlight hits, making the whole image very idyllic in Harry’s mind. As if he couldn’t enjoy the setting more, he hears the beginning of an Otis Redding song that he’s had stuck in his head drift through the restaurant speakers.
“Welcome in!” a voice calls, which pulls him from his survey of the room. His head whips to the source—a girl around his age with wavy, dark hair and honey skin. “For here or to go?”
Harry takes a hesitant step up to the counter. “For here,”
She smiles warmly and pulls some menus from under the counter. “How many in your party?”
“Five.”
“Great, follow me.”
Harry and his friends follow the waitress to the corner of the room under the disco ball and take their seats at the round table.
“My name is Alani,” she introduces herself, setting the menus down. “I’ll be serving you today. Can I get you started with some drinks?”
Harry continues scanning the restaurant while his group orders. His eyes land on the shirt that Alani is wearing, a white tee with the words “Enjoy Health, Eat Your Honey” in blue lettering that surrounds a picture of a cartoon bee.
“Harry,” Jeff says gently, catching his drifting attention.
The singer turns to his manager, who nods to Alani waiting with a pen pressed to her notepad. Harry feels a rush of embarrassment creep across his cheeks and he clears his throat to cover it.
“Just water,” he says, eyes glued to the menu. “Thanks.”
“You got it.” Alani nods, flashing a toothy grin at the rest of the group before turning back to the kitchen. Harry. Her mind repeats, finding a hint of familiarity, though she doesn’t know why.
When Alani arrives at the drink station, she finds her sister staring at her, mouth agape, while Maleah unsuccessfully conceals her laughter.
“What?” she questions, checking herself for any embarrassing stains or smells.
“You were—and he—” Pua stammers. “He was—and then he—”
“That’s Harry Styles,” Maleah translates, her voice hushed as she peers over her friend's shoulder.
Alani turns to steal a glance at the table she just seated, but Pua and Maleah latch onto her and shake their heads frantically.
“Don’t look!” her sister hisses.
Alani smirks, amused at their reactions. “No shit. That’s One Direction?”
Maleah snorts, clasping a hand over her mouth as Pua huffs. “No, dumbass! It’s just Harry. I don’t know who the other guys are,”
“But the blonde guy? That’s not—?”
“No!” Pua and Maleah giggle in unison.
“Okay, geez,” Alani relents. She manages to steal a quick glance at the table over her shoulder, immediately searching for Harry. Her eyes scan over the long, curly hair kept out of his face by a pair of white sunglasses that she had seen on Kurt Cobain once. All of his features are sharp and striking, from his pointed nose and defined jawline to the bright blue eyes. Or maybe they were grey? Alani wonders, trying to remember the exact shade. He doesn’t look anything like the fresh-faced teeny bopper she’d had in mind, the one from a music video her sister had shown her a long time ago. She would have never guessed that the What Makes You Beautiful singer had so much dark ink trailing down his bicep and forearm, though her knowledge of One Direction was very limited.
“What did he order?” Pua questions, her eyes wide.
Alani quickly snaps back to reality and resumes filling the drinks. “A water,”
“Oh my god,” Maleah swoons. “I’m never drinking anything else ever again,”
“I didn’t even know you liked him,” Alani teases with an eyebrow raised.
Maleah sneaks another peek at the table and catches her lower lip between her teeth. “I mean, I didn’t really think so either but look at him. What a fucking dream,”
Harry was objectively handsome, this Alani could admit, but she personally didn’t see the appeal and had a strong feeling that he was just like every other male celebrity. The fact that he hadn’t even bothered to make eye contact with her only served as further proof of what she knew to be true.
“Okay, well, your dreamboat is waiting for his water. So excuse me,” Alani winks, making her way back to the table.
The singer spots Alani returning out of the corner of his eye and the sight of her causes a strange flutter in the pit of his stomach that makes him want to duck for cover. Instead, he pulls his phone from his back pocket and pretends to be occupied with something on the screen.
“Okay,” she greets, setting the drink tray down. “I have a Blue Hawaii, a Mango Mama, two Loco Cocos, and a water,”
The group graciously accepts their drinks with a chorus of “thank you," but the only one under Alani’s scrutiny is Harry. He still doesn’t meet her almond eyes, and though she figured he wouldn’t, she can’t help the inkling of disappointment that washes over her. After taking their meal orders, Alani heads back to the kitchen, checking on her other customers along the way. Harry’s eyes follow her and he observes the way customers light up at her presence, indulging her conversation with laughter. He watches as she lingers by the jukebox in one corner of the room, a detail he had missed in his initial scan, and waits anxiously to see what song she chooses. Baby I’m-a Want You begins softly and Harry feels the corner of his lip curl ever so slightly. Good choice, he thinks.
********
“He’s still here,” Pua muses, peering through the tiny window in the kitchen door. It had been nearly two hours and the five men were still seated around their table cracking jokes and doing a lot of talking with their hands.
Alani doesn’t look up from her bowl of sliced kiwis, offering a hum in response. “And what do you want me to do about that?”
“Nothing,” Pua shoots back. “Don’t bother him,”
“What kind of girls do you think he’s into?” Maleah asks, attempting to peek through the window.
Alani shrugs, bored of the conversation and of thinking about Harry. “I don’t know, but I’ll bet he’s a real sucker for the ones who stalk him while he’s eating,”
“How does he make eating a salad look hot?”
“Can we talk about something else now?” Alani whines, poking holes in a lone kiwi with her fork.
Pua tosses a wet dish rag in her sister’s direction and cheers when it lands in her face. “Go see if he wants more water, he looks thirsty.”
“I already refilled it,” Alani defends. “Twenty minutes ago. I’ve refilled it a hundred times, I’m surprised he hasn’t peed his pants.”
I’m gonna piss myself. Harry thinks, his right leg bouncing to distract himself. He really wasn’t all that thirsty, but he couldn’t stop himself from finishing each glass of water that Alani placed in front of him. He really wasn’t all that thirsty, but he couldn’t stop himself from finishing each glass of water that Alani placed in front of him. Like clockwork, she would return to fill his glass almost as soon as the last drop had been drained, and so what began as a little experiment slowly turned into a bladder hazard. But if the trend was to be trusted, she would be back any minute and he wasn’t going to miss it; afterall, there were only so many ways to casually linger in a small café without making it weird. Unable to bear it any longer, he heads to the restroom and hopes that Alani doesn’t clear their table before he has a chance to see her again.
Harry pads down the back hallway with his eyes cast down at the floor, which proves to be a mistake when he walks directly into another person.
“Sorry!” they both apologize quickly, Harry’s palm taking purchase on the other person’s upper arm.
“I wasn’t paying attention,” he offers, finally meeting the dark, mocha eyes already looking back at him.
Alani presses her lips into a tight smile. “Me either,”
Harry’s heartbeat picks up when he realizes it’s her, and he isn’t aware of how close they’re standing until he detects the faint scent of kiwi on her breath. He takes a step back and rakes a hand through his hair.
“So I guess I’ll just—”
“Yeah, sure.”
Green. Alani notes to herself. His eyes are green.
********
Shortly after Harry returned from the restroom, him and his friends settled their bill and headed out. Alani cleared their table and her eyes nearly fell out of her head when she saw the hefty tip left behind. The word mahalo was also left behind on the receipt, underlined twice, and she wondered if it was his handwriting.
Later that night, she settled into bed with her laptop and hesitantly typed his name into Google. As she expected, countless articles about the split of One Direction emerged, most of them speculating what was next for each member. To her surprise, however, Harry’s name seemed to be mentioned more than his fellow bandmates as various sources labeled him “the next Justin Timberlake” and rising star of the group. Upon further investigation, she learned that the demand for information about the elusive Harry Styles was high, especially concerning any possible solo music. No news had yet been confirmed by Styles himself, nor anyone claiming to represent him, but she still wondered if his presence in Hawaii had anything to do with a possible solo project. Almost as soon as she thought it, Alani dismissed the theory in favor of the idea that he was most likely just taking a vacation. And from the buzz that she saw surrounding the news about One Direction, she couldn’t blame him.
The more Alani read, the more she wanted to know, and something deep down told her that his was a story worth telling. Of course, the only problem was that she had hardly talked to him, and there were only so many things she could say about the fifteen glasses of water he downed. There was no way of knowing if she would ever see him again, either, or if he was merely stopping in Hilo on his way to another island or somewhere else entirely. Alani sighed, thinking back to her most recent rejection from Rolling Stone. She knew that there was no possible way she would ever see or talk to Harry ever again, and even if she did, why would he bare his entire soul to a stranger? Still, she let her mind wander through the possibility.
Dear Ms. Hale, the letter would read, we are very grateful to have received your submission to Rolling Stone magazine and are pleased to inform you that your piece on Harry Styles will be featured in next month’s issue. Additionally, we would be honored to have you on staff, effective immediately.
It was far-fetched, Alani knew this, but she dozed off that night with endless ideas swimming in her head.
********
By the third day after his visit, the only trace of Harry is in Alani’s search history. She would have completely forgotten about him if it weren’t for her sister’s constant reminiscing and multiple attempts to rename the house salad to the “Harry Special.” As a result, a part of Alani’s thoughts periodically linger back to that day and the subsequent hours spent on Google that she’d rationalized as research instead of stalking. Somehow the knowledge that she’ll never see him again only adds fuel to the questions still burning in her mind, but a customer clearing their throat while she sorts menus below the hostess podium interrupts her thoughts.
“Welcome in!” She calls, standing. “What can I—”
She stops in her tracks, unable to believe her eyes. Harry blinks and waits for her to continue.
“What can I get started for you?” Alani tries again, hoping that he hadn’t noticed her shock. Luckily for her, Harry had been too focused on choosing his next words to register her mistake.
“What’s in the Honu smoothie?” he asks, mentally kicking himself for asking such a stupid question when the menu just inches above her head clearly spells it out.
Alani hums, thinking back to the times she had made the smoothie herself. “Kiwis, spinach, mango, avocado, and a hint of lime,”
“I’ll take one of those,” Harry says, reaching for his wallet.
Alani punches in the order with trembling fingers and nods. “For here or to go?”
“To go,”
Disappointment fills her chest. Sure, she hadn’t planned on seeing him ever again, but the fact that she did felt like a sign. If she wanted to take the chance, she’d have to do it fast.
“Anything else?” she asks, weighing her options while he skims the menu.
“No thanks.”
Alani makes the smoothie quickly, head spinning. She had spent most of the night after their initial meeting planning out exactly the type of questions she hoped to ask him and what kind of article she would write. She was used to writing about what she knew—artists and music she’d admired for years— but she figured that starting fresh with someone she hardly knew would be a good challenge. Not to mention that it seemed like just the thing Rolling Stone would jump for. Alani finally works up the courage as she finishes his smoothie, but when she returns to hand it to him and hopefully strike up a conversation, his ear is pressed to his cell phone. She holds out the drink and he graciously accepts, giving her a small nod as a “thank you” and rushing out of the restaurant.
Two days later he returns and is seated at the counter, typing away on his phone. Alani feels both a rush of optimism and annoyance at the universe for dangling his presence so unexpectedly. She starts heading over to him, but Maleah cuts in.
“Trade me?” she proposes, eyes wide.
Alani blinks. “Oh, I would but I—”
“Please,” her best friend pouts. “I’m leaving to see my grandparents in stupid California for two months. Who knows when I’ll get the chance to see him again?”
Alani sighs, but gives in, reluctantly exchanging Harry for the family of four seated by the window. A strange feeling settles into the pit of his stomach when he sees that she heads in the opposite direction after a hushed conversation with another waitress. He doesn’t know why she traded him for a different customer, but he takes the hint.
A week goes by without another sighting of Harry and Alani has permanently taken on the role of greeting hostess in hopes of seeing him again. Her heartbeat temporarily speeds up when she sees a long haired customer approach the door, but her spirits quickly fall when the face doesn’t match his.
Another week brings another disappointing realization that Harry might be gone for good. One rainy morning when the restaurant is quiet and only two customers huddle together in a booth near the back, Alani hunches over the hostess podium and doodles on a stray receipt— a sunflower, a crescent moon, and two hearts. The bell above the door jingles but she doesn’t look up, too absorbed in her scribbles.
“Do you serve coffee?”
The familiar accented voice stops Alani’s pen dead in its tracks. She lifts her eyes first to confirm, and then straightens up when she sees that her ears haven’t deceived her.
“Yes,” she swallows.
“Great. I’ll take it to go,”
She slightly deflates, but Harry thinks he’s reading too much into it.
“Actually,” he corrects anyway, just in case he isn’t. “I think I’ll stay for a while,”
Alani flashes a warm smile and nods in the direction of the counter. “Right this way,”
Harry sheds his windbreaker onto the back of the seat, revealing a black and white Rolling Stones t-shirt that makes Alani’s blood pressure rise. A sign, she thinks.
“What do you want in your coffee?” she questions carefully.
“Nothing,” he responds, shaking out his damp hair gently. “Or actually, uh, butter...if you have some,”
Alani blinks, not sure if she’d heard correctly or if there had been some transatlantic miscommunication.
“Butter?”
“Yeah,”
“Like the—”
“Spread, yeah,” Harry confirms. “It’s weird, I know,”
She lets out a light-hearted laugh and nods. “It’s a...unique request,”
“I thought the same thing at first,” Harry confides. “It’s not bad, actually. But maybe I’ve just been in L.A. for too long.”
“I’ll take your word for it.”
She offers a polite smile and heads to the kitchen where the cook and two other waiters talk amongst each other. Alani is grateful that the restaurant is slow this morning because she knows that it means minimal interruptions to her time with Harry. To ensure this, though, she asks one of the other waiters to cover the podium and returns to Harry with his coffee.
“One butter coffee, free of judgement,” the waitress announces, setting it down.
Harry grins softly, stirring the drink with the spoon Alani provided. “You can judge, it’s alright,”
“I just wanna know why,”
The coffee had been part of a fad diet while on tour in order to boost Harry’s energy on stage and stay trim for the hundreds of photo-ops he would be a part of. He doesn’t know how to communicate all of this to Alani, however, not sure how much she knows about that part of him, so he shrugs and tells a simplified version of the truth.
“I read about this trend a while back, it's called bulletproof coffee. Supposed to get your energy up and I needed it for my job,”
“Which is…” Alani trails off, downplaying the knowledge that she had acquired from Google.
“I make music,” is all Harry says and he takes a sip of the drink to avoid elaborating.
“Anything I would have heard?”
He swallows hard and listens to the faint rumbling of thunder outside before replying. “Possibly,”
“Try me,” Alani challenges.
He narrows his eyes and takes another sip of coffee. “Why don’t you tell me something about yourself first?”
“What do you wanna know?”
Everything, Harry responds internally, though he reigns it in. “How you got into waitressing,”
Alani sighs, resting her elbows on the counter across from him. “There’s not much to tell, it’s a family business. What I really wanna do is write,”
“Music?”
“Articles. I’m studying Journalism at UH,”
Harry hums in response, filing the detail away in the back of his mind. “Sounds interesting. You ever publish anything?”
“Not yet,” Alani shakes her head gently, toying with the sleeves of her green University of Hawaii crewneck. “Hopefully soon, though,”
Harry racks his brain for something else to say, but before he can, Alani speaks up again.
“Is it my turn to ask something now?”
He offers a curt nod and stirs his coffee.
“What kind of music do you write?”
Harry chooses to be vague again. “Different stuff. Pop, usually. Been messing with some classic rock, though,”
“Explains the shirt,”
He peers down at the design on his tee and agrees. “Yeah, I guess so,”
“Do you like it?” Alani asks, her eyes begging to make contact with his again. “Writing music, I mean,”
“Yeah,” Harry confirms, tapping his spoon against the rim of the mug. “I really do,”
Alani’s heart pounds. This is her chance, a moment to finally secure her breakthrough piece. She doesn’t know how to approach it, so she opts to dive right in without looking back. The worst he can say is no.
“Can I ask you something else?”
“That’s cheating,” Harry teases lightly. “It's my turn,”
She pouts playfully, but obliges. “Fire away,”
Harry doesn’t know which question to ask first, but when he glances down at the crescent moon inked on her wrist, he decides to start there.
“What’s with the moon tattoo?”
Alani isn’t sure what she expected him to ask and wonders what purpose such a detail could possibly serve him, but she answers anyway.
“Oh, well,” she begins, tracing her index finger over the outline. “It’s kinda the meaning of my full name. It’s Mahealani, Hawaiian for ‘heavenly moon,'”
Fitting, Harry comments to himself. Every detail he learns about her makes him want to learn that much more, from her favorite foods to the last thing she thinks about before falling asleep. Studying her expectant eyes, he suddenly remembers that it’s his turn to respond.
“That’s cool,” is all he says.
Alani doesn’t know what to make of the faraway look in his eye, but she decides to pose her most burning question while he appears to be in good spirits.
“I know this is gonna sound totally out of the blue,” she starts, working past the lump in her throat. “But when you mentioned how you write music, I was just reminded of this assignment I’m working on in my class,”
Harry waits for her to continue, nursing his now lukewarm coffee.
“I’m supposed to write a piece about someone who I don’t know that well,” she continues. “You know, to practice our interviewing skills. And, well, I was just kind of wondering if you might be interested in helping me out—being the subject, I mean,”
Alani had every intention of telling Harry the truth, about how she really planned to submit the article to Rolling Stone in hopes of securing an internship before her college graduation next Spring. But as she started speaking, she quickly realized how it would come off: a complete stranger asking for personal information to submit to a well-known publication. She knew that there was a chance he would shut down and never return, so she lowered the stakes and hoped that this route would be less risky. Was it ethical? Alani hadn’t decided yet, but she would work out the details later. After six failed articles and two years of rejection, she saw a ray of hope and wasn’t going to let it slip away.
Harry ponders her offer for a moment, which confirms that she had recognized him. Normally he would be off-put by such a request, and to a certain extent he is, but there is something sincere in her voice that he trusts deep down. Before he agrees, however, he decides to fish around a bit to test her reaction.
“You know who I am,” he says gently. “Don’t you?”
Alani’s heart drops into the pit of her stomach, not sure what to say next. She hopes with every fiber of her being that she hasn’t upset him, or worse, ruined her chances, so she decides to offer some truth to throw him off her scent.
“My sister recognized you,” she explains. “That day you came in with your friends. I thought they were your bandmates at first,”
This lets Harry know that she isn’t a total stalker, which is comforting, but he wouldn’t have been minded if she were a fan simply engaging in conversation.
“Oh,” he laughs weakly.
“I totally understand if you say no,” Alani offers quickly, trying to smooth things over. “I just thought it was worth a shot. And that it might be more interesting than interviewing our produce guy,”
Harry decides to give her one last scan for any sign of insincerity. He’d always felt that his gut instinct was strong and it hadn’t led him astray thus far.
“An interview?” he clarifies.
“Just one,” Alani promises. “An hour, tops. And you can proofread all of it once I’ve finished, too.”
Harry waits a beat, already knowing his reply, but he wants to see how she will react to his silence. She doesn’t budge, almond eyes set and determined.
“Okay.”

Ineffable.
Ineffable - Too great to be expressed in words.
Pairing - Lee Taeyong x reader
Genre- Pure fluff!
Word count- 2.58k
Warnings- None but please let me know if THIS amount of fluff is cringe or not kselkkd. Also, I'm sorry if this story's dissapointing, my health hasn't been the best so if the storylines not good, let me know :)
Summary- All it took was a couple of smack on his head, water splashed onto his face and being called friend on the first date for him to step out of his comfort zone and confess to you.
Tumblr media
You and Taeyong had a really complicated relationship. If you could call it one.
You're neither friends, nor enemies, neither were you dating. You wish you were but no.
But still at the end, the two of you always end up paired together, be it projects, going for business trips, being promoted together, you'd basically seen him all day. So it was obvious the two of you spoke.
Well, you spoke, he'd listen, giggle at your talks, and then say a sentence or two max. You guys would be what people other than your friend group called acquaintances.
Anyone with eyesight would know immediately that you're head over heels for the lad. You made it a little too obvious. Always talking frantically around him, your heart flutters when you hear him laugh, his presence in all just made you giddy. And so you'd always been happy when he'd be paired up with you in everything.
Your friends basically divided themselves into two groups. One that supported you and pushed you to go confess your love for him, the other being one who ridiculed you for loving a guy that they thought would never like you back.
On the other hand, Taeyong was just shy.
Your bubbly persona overwhelmed him. Of course he liked you too, he just needed one smack at the back of his head. Or not because his friends have done it way too many times, yet here he is, just daydreaming scenarios of what he'd do for you if the two of you dated resulting in him not talking much.
So when Yuta, his friend, poured the tiniest amount of water onto his face and yelled 'BOOMER' at him, he thought it's finally time to make a move.
A hangout. Exactly what the two of you needed.
Break time had come to an end, you were walking with Luna to your cabin, when you crossed paths with Taeyong, who was indulged in a conversation with Johnny, another one of his friends from the same department as the two of you.
"Oh boy, here we go again" Luna spoke from beside you. You look at her, confusion spread all over your face. "huh?" she let out a chuckle, shaking her head, "You've been staring at him long enough for him to look back at you-" she pointed at the direction where Taeyong and Johnny stood with her head, as you turn around to look at him "-but you were so busy devouring his existence to realize that", He waved at you, which you did back but then turned back at Luna, flustered.
She looked behind you gesturing something to either Johnny or Taeyong, then turned you around and pushed you towards where the boys were, Johnny doing the same with Taeyong as both your bodies collided, gently, but hard enough to send the two of you stumbling back a few steps.
You hear the other two laugh and walk away, you turn back to send a glare at your friend, but ended up landing on Johnny who winked to that.
You face your crush, "Hey" you tuck a stray piece of hair behind your ears. He sent you a smile and nodded his head, greeting back.
"How's your day so far?" you ask him, raising an eyebrow in anticipation. "It's been good, tiring but doable" he ended the answer. Your shoulder slouch down as his answer again ended in a sentence. "What about you? How's yours going" you look up, caught off guard, since this was the first time he's ever asked a question back.
Okay that's an exaggeration, he did ask questions, but that was a rare occasion.
"It's good! Tressa spilled her coffee over her documents which got Mr.Kim extremely mad, i finished the final task just a few minutes before break, i was just going to gather my things and head out" you smile radiantly. He smiled at your excitement of finally getting off of work.
There was a second of silence, this time Taeyong being the one breaking it.
"Could you wait for just a little while? I'm almost done too, so we can head out together" he asked, fidgeting with his hands, a habit he has that comes out of nervousness "If that's too much of a hassle you could go now that's fine too!-" he quickly added after seeing your eyes widen.
You interrupt, waving your hands in the air in quick motions, shaking your head," No no! It isn't, i could wait" you smile at him, which he returned back with equal enthusiasm.
-
No longer than 10 minutes later, you and Taeyong made your way towards the elevator, him initiating small talks every now and then, asking questions about you, to which you gave long answers for.
"-and then Lisa just threw up on him because of how much booze was in her system" you end your story from last Saturday, Taeyong let out a hearty laugh at the ending, sending warmth streaming all through your nerves.
The door opened at the basement, where his car was parked, "Oh? I took the bus today,I sent my car for servicing yesterday " you say, stepping out. "That's fine! I could drive you" he offered.
"No no! That'll be a trouble for you! I could just take the bus-" "Please. I'll kidnap you if I have to, if that means you'll ride with me" Taeyong said, smiling widely at you. You giggle at his words, feeling heat rush up your cheeks, as you cup your face to reduce the heat.
"Alright no need to involve kidnapping here" you say making your way towards his car alongside him.
Okay Okay Taeyong, be outgoing. Fun to be around. Ask questions. This your chance.
"Welcome aboard" He said, the second you stepped into the passenger's seat, you laughed at his antics, reaching out to fasten the seat belt. Taeyong beat you to it, reaching over across your body, tugging at the seat belt and fastening it.
The proximity had blood rush up your cheeks once again, damn it.
"Safety first!" he said wearing his own seatbelt, starting the car, pulling out of his parking space and out of the basement.
Once you were away from the building of your work space, you turn to the side looking at Taeyong's side profile, admiring the way the street lights shone upon his face, highlighting the scar on the right side of his face, he's perfect, no doubt. But this slight scar proved he was too, nothing more than just a human. The grip he had on the steering wheel made the veins on his hands more prominent. "So Tae-" "-Y/n" you start at the same time, "Oh you go first" you say quickly, knowing that if you'd stay there admiring Taeyong he'd probably ask you to go first.
"There's this really good restaurant by the corner in just two minutes and it's really late, so, wanna go grab dinner together?" he said in a breath, looking at you for a split second before turning his focus back onto the road.
"Oh sure! If though, either you let me pay or we share the bill" you reply excitedly, smiling at the fact that you'd get to spend more time with him.
"No? Come on, let me pay for the first date-" he stopped abruptly as you look at him with wide eyes, "date.. I like the sound of that" you let out a chuckle as you see him gulp down.
The rest of the car ride, you spoke back and forth, Taeyong replied much better than how he'd used to, you two even jammed to some of the radio music together, eventually pulling over in front of the restaurant Taeyong wanted to take you to.
"Korean barbecue? How did you know I was craving it?" you say, removing the belt and turning towards the driver's seat, to see no Taeyong.
You jump when the door of your side opens, Taeyong standing there with his hands out, offering it to you. You hit his palm at the extremely cliché action, then held it and stepped out of the car. "Because it's Saturday and everyone craves it on the weekends, now let's go!" he pulled you out of the seat, slamming the door shut and jogging towards the restaurant as you laughed at his sudden bubbliness.
The two of you went and took a seat at the end of the restaurant, it wasn't anything too posh, but it wasn't not too plain either, it was cozy. Taeyong removed his coat and hung it on his chair. And then hurried over to your side and pulled your chair out, you smack his shoulder, to which he grinned and made his way back to his seat.
"What do you want to eat?" he asked, looking at the menu.
"The classic, wouldn't want to add any other flavor to the classic" you reply back, looking at the names of different delicacies written on the card, not noticing Taeyong look at you. It's when you set the menu card down that you notice his gaze. You feel yourself starting to blush for the nth time that night. This is the impact Lee Taeyong has on you. One gaze is all it takes and you're completely melted.
The waiter came in minutes later, took your orders and went back, you just waited, having common talks with the boy in front of you, sometimes drifting into your subspace, maybe fangirling over him way too much from time to time.
"Oh oh I got another one, do you know why Hershey chocolate closed down?" he asked.
One thing you found out about him is that he's a sucker for pick up lines. "because I'm too sweet?" you giggle as you see a frown forming up on his features "come on, yong, that's a classic try again."
"Unfair! Even if you know the answer you shouldn't say it!" he whined out, messing his hair, you laughed out loud at how cute he looked and sounded, drawing a few eyes onto the table, which neither of you paid attention to, Taeyong joining along with you with his tiny giggles.
The food arrived, and you dig in immediately, earning a chuckle from Taeyong as you stuff your cheeks.
You looked cute.
"Alright this is a tough one, are you my appendix?" he asked, gulping down a decent amount of food.
"clearly not? why?" you reply, voice coming out muffled.
"because i have a funny feeling in my stomach that makes me feel like i should take you out" he said, looking at you intently. You start choking due to his reply, to which Taeyong laughed out loud, calming himself, leaning forward to pat the top of your head and pushing your water glass at you.
"Taeyong what in the name of heaven even!" you ask, now you lean forward to hit him as he started laughing again.
"Hey admit it, that was a good one!" he said, looking at you with his eyes wide as you kept hitting him.
"Whatever. Eat" You chuckle and turn back to your food, the blood most probably clot on your cheeks through the entirety of the night.
The both of you finish, getting up from your seats as Taeyong gestured you to wait for him by the entrance.
He paid for the food, and made his way back to you, with two fruit Popsicles in his hand.
He handed one over to you, and started walking the opposite direction from where his car was parked. "Yong, it's this way-" you say, standing in the same place. "I know" he simply replied, stopping and turning back around to look at you. "Come on hurry, follow me!" he said and started walking again. You jog to catch up with him.
You walk in silence for ten minutes, eating the Popsicle he'd bought, shoulder's sometimes brushing past each other.
"We're here!" he said excitedly, you look up from your feet and stare at whatever Taeyong was looking at, eyes immediately lighting up as you see the calm waters of the river in front of you.
"Beautiful, right?" he asked, smiling at you as your eyes stayed fixed at the scenery in front of you.
You hum in agreement, walking towards the railing to get a closer look, Taeyong following suit.
"Thank you" you said, all of a sudden.
"Hm? For?" he asked, confused. "Today, it was fun! I guess we can call ourselves friends now right??" you ask, taking your eyes off the river and turning to look at the boy.
Come on Taeyong, this is your chance.
"Y/n." he started, you look at him with your eyebrows raised.
"Friend's is so far off from what you really are to me, Y/n" he said, letting out a sigh and turning to face the river.
"What do you mean?" you knew exactly what he meant. You felt your heart flutter, beating a little faster than normal, if he would back out now, you'll take a step forward.
"Oh god how do i do this, I- just.. Okay listen, i like you okay? I really really like you" he said fast, turning to look at you this time. "I thought I made it obvious? How didn't you get even the slightest of hints if my feelings for you?" he said, his eyes furrowed.
"Because, honey you never made it obvious, if anything, you looked like you had no interest in talking to me" you said, laughing and stepping forward, feeling your stomach churn in weird ways, the muscles of your face, starting to hurt from how widely you were smiling.
"don't mind that! I'm just-just usually like that around everyone-"
"I like you too" you cut him off, stepping forward to get a little closer to the boy.
"-and i felt like, wait what?" he stopped, looking at you with wide eyes.
"i said i like you too! I think, in fact, I'm in love with you. A little too much" you add, seeing a red hue take over Taeyong's face, as he temporarily looked down, and back at you the shocked expression replaced by an extremely wide smile.
You two just stared at each other, Taeyong stepping forward with a questioning look on his face.
"Can i kiss you?" he asked, his voice tiny. You laugh in content, and instead of answering him, you walk closer to him, standing on your toes, placing a soft peck on his lips.
Taeyong let out a chain of giggles, leaning forwards and capturing your lips again, hands going around your waist, yours finding its way around his neck as the two of you smile into the kiss.
He pulled away first, looking at you with a loving look.
"So i can call you mine from today right?" he asked, his eyes shimmering in the twilight.
"Only if you tell me one of the best pick up lines you've got" you reply, crossing your arms over your chest watching Taeyong mumble out a 'you know it' and step back, looking you up and down, placing a hand under his chin.
"I-...damn, I'm sorry you're so beautiful you made me forget my pick up line" he said, looking straight into your eyes.
"Ew Tae, you are such a cheesy man" you say, taking large steps towards him. He reached out to you, snaking his hands around your waist placing another soft kiss on your lips.
"I'm your cheesy man"

Chapter 4
It had been a few days since Eden left Sids after they raped her.    She called out sick from work she couldn't face them.    The team was headed out to California and Eden asked if she could fly out and meet the team there.    They said that was fine.     Eden went out a day early and did some sight seeing.       It was nice.     The team arrived later that day.     She had just gotten finished eating when there was a knock at the door.    Eden goes and sees it was Sid.
"Eden please open the door." Sid says.
He had carnations her favorite in his hands and a stuffed Panda bear too.   Eden figured she might as well hear him out.    She opens the door.
"What Sid?" Eden says.
"I am sorry for what I did to you the other day." Sid says.
"Oh you mean raping me when I said no." Eden replies snarky.
"Yes I am sorry baby.   It will never happen again.     Kris is sorry too these are from us." Sid says.
"Look let's just let by gones be bygones.   I  won't say anything about what happened.   I won't tell your secret." Eden says.
"Please baby.    Think about it.    We really do love you." Sid says.
"Okay I will think about it okay." Eden says.
"Good baby.    We love you and don't want to loose you." Sid says.
"I will think about it okay.   Now I just want to go lie down.   I am not feeling well." Eden says.
"Okay feel better." Sid says kissing her softly on the lips.
"Thanks Sid.   Goodnight I will see you at practice tomorrow." Eden replies.
"Okay baby." Sid says kissing her head.
Eden took the flowers and Panda and shut the door behind him.    She wasn't thinking about anything she was walking out of this and going to be with Chase.
That was when her phone went off. It was Chase.
"Meet me down in the lobby." Chase texts.
"Wait you're here!" Eden texts back.
"Yup got a race here in Cali and then racing Phoenix and Vegas." Chase says.
"Let me change and I'll be right down." Eden says.
She throws on a pair of jeans and a black be brave shirt.    She then heads down to the lobby.
Chase was standing there waiting for her. She runs to him.
"Chase." Eden exclaims practically jumping on him.
"Hey princess." Chase says kissing her.
Eden kisses back not caring who was watching.
"I'm so happy you are here." Eden says.
"I am happy too I get too see my girl. Now let's go I have a special date planned just the two of us." Chase says.
They link hands and head out to them rental car. They both get in. Chase takes off towards San Diego.
"Where are we going?" Eden asks.
"You will see." Chase says smiling at her.
45 minutes later they arrive at the zoo.
"The San Diego Zoo!" Eden  says excitedly.
'Well I know how much you love animals especially pandas so I figured I needed to bring you." Chase  says.
They park. They then head to the entrance. Chase  pays for them them. They find out there was a bus called the Kangaroo Bus that would drop them off at various parts of the park. They get on the bus and it takes them to the first part of the zoo. The Australian Outback. Inside there they see the Australian Wander which was full of plants that come from down under, along with Camels, Koalas. Laughing Kookabura's, Tasmanian Devils and Wombats.
It was fun. They got to hold a koala, play with a kangaroo and ride a camel together.
Eden was taking all kinds of pictures.
From there they head into the Lost Forest exhibit,. There they see Bog Garden, Bonabo's , Fern Canyon, Flamingos, Ginger Garden, harpy eagels, Hawaiian pants, Hippo's, Mandrills, Monkey's, Okapi's, orangutans, Otter's and pygmy Hippos pygmy marmosets, Tapirs, terrace lagoon, and Tigers.
"I want a hippo for Christmas is one of my favorite Xmas songs so I love hippos." Eden says.
"They are intriguing animals." Chase says.
They continue on. They were holding hands and acting like a real couple and Eden was loving it. They then get on the Kangaroo bus and head to the nest spot for them. They then do the Panda Canyon, where they see Amur Leopard's, Giant Panda's red pandas and Takins.
"Pandas are my absolute favorite animal in the whole wide world." Eden says.
"I know now come with me." Chase says.
They head behind the habitat where they met a zookeeper. Chase paid extra for them to be able to play with one of the panda's. It was one of the Cubs born not that long ago. Also Eden was adopting it and could name it. Eden was having the time of her life. Chase had them take picture and a video. She ended up naming the bear Chase. Finally they leave.
"Thank you for doing that for me. I love it." Eden says.
"I am glad baby." Chase says.
That was when Eden ran to the trash can and threw up. Chase held her hair back. He also got her ginger Ale.
"Do you want to go home?" Chase asks.
"Nope I'm okay now." Eden says.
They then head to the Africa Rocks where they got to see and play with the penguins.
They head around the zoo seeing more different animals. They saved the best for last where Eden  got to see the polar bears another one of her favorites. It was neat to see them out playing. Eden  took more pictures.    Finally they headed to the gift shop and Eden got a few things. Chase got her a few things as well and they left.
"Thank you Clyde for a much needed fun day." Eden says.
"You are welcome Princes." Chase says.
"Our first official date." Eden says.
"And it's not over yet." Chase says.
They hop in the car and head back towards Los Angeles.    Chase heads to Disneyland and parks.
"Disneyland baby?" Eden asks.
"But of course. Have to take my Princess to the happiest place on earth." Chase replies.
"I love you." Eden says.

"Dinner for two baby." Chase says.
"Awww Clyde." Eden says kissing him.
Chase kisses back. He then helps her sit down.
He goes and heats up their food. He had made chicken parmigiana and noodles along with a salad. When it was done he sits it in the table and then takes his seat. They each take a piece of chicken and some noodles.   They then add a little bit more sauce to each before sprinkling it with parmesan cheese.   They put some salad in their salad bowls and add the dressing.   Chase pours them each a glass of wine.
Eden takes a bite of the food and then says
"Oh my god it tastes as good as it smells."
"Thanks.   The sauce is my mothers homemade recipe." Chase  says.
"Well it's good." Eden  says.
They eat and enjoy each others company.   Once they finished Eden helped Chase  clean up and put the leftovers away and load the dishwasher.
"The flowers are for you." Chase says to her.
"Thank you Clyde.  Carnations are my favorite flower and pink is my favorite color." Eden  says.
"I know baby." Chase says.
"So wha are we going to watch?" Eden  asks.
"Since  I know how much you love scary movies I have the Conjuring universe movies ready to go." Chase replies.
"Lead the way." Eden says.
Chase lead her to the game room.   They both sit on the couch as Chase turns on the Nun.   The movie starts.    Not even five minutes into it Chase jumps at a scary part.
"Damn." Chase says.
"You really hate scary movies don't you?" Eden asks.
"Yes I do.    But I will watch them because I know you like them." Chase says.
"Well I will keep you safe Clyde." Eden says.
"I know." Chase says as another scary part happens.
They movie went on.   Eden felt him get a little tense and knew he was scared so she leaned in a little closer trying to comfort him.   Chase puts his arm around her pulling her closer to him.  She leaned her head on his shoulder.
It got to the part where the priest was buried A alive.    Chase started to shake.   That was one of his phobias being trapped someplace not being able to get out.   He was claustrophobic.
"Oh Chase." Eden says leaning in placing a soft kiss on his lips.
She would do anything at that moment to make him feel better.   She never experienced a man so vulnerable.
Chase kisses back putting his hands on each side of her cheeks.  Eden parts her lips slightly.   Chase deepens the kiss exploring her mouth with his tongue.
"Mmm." Chase moans deep in his throat.
"Mmm." Eden moans too.
"God Princess ." Chase says once they both come up for air.
"You are a good kisser Clyde." Eden says.
"So are you Princess." Chase replies.
She looks deep into his eyes and sees a bunch of emotion swirling in them.
Chase leans in kissing her again pulling her all but into his lap.   His hands roam up the back of her shirt setting her skin on fire.
"God Clyde take me to bed." Eden moans when he let her up for air again.
"God baby are you sure?" Chase asks.
"God yes." Eden says she wanted him so bad.
Chase picks her up carrying her into his bedroom.   He sits her on her feet closing the door.    Once the door was closed Eden pushes him up against it.
"Eden." Chase moans.
"I want you and I am going to take you." Eden says.
"I want you too." Chade says.
She starts to lift his shirt up placing soft kisses along his chest as she does.
"Fuck." Chase moans.
Once she gets the shirt up and and over his she throws it to the floor.
"You have the most amazing body Clyde." Eden says running her nails lightly down his chest to the band of his jeans.
"Thanks Princess oh god." Chase moans as she pops open the button and pulls the zipper down running her finger up his happy trail.
She works the jeans down his hips kissing his stomach with light fluttery kisses as she does.  Chase just moans.
She then works his boxer briefs down as well freeing his rock hard cock.   Eden licks her lips.  She places soft kisses on his stomach again before running her tongue down his happy trail.   She places soft kisses on each thigh before slowly taking his cock into her mouth.
"Fuck Eden." Chase moans running his fingers through her hair.
She sucks him in nice and slow running her tongue along the underside of his shaft.   She looks up locking eyes with him.   She keeps sucking him in and out of her mouth slowly.
"Fuck Eden that's it suck my dick baby." Chase moans gently pulling her hair as he starts to thrust.
Eden kept going slowly torturing him bringing him to the verge of cumming.
"God baby I am going to cum." Chase moans he didn't know what she wanted.
Eden gently starts to play with his balls never taking her eyes off him.
"Princess oh god." Chase moans as he cums hard down her throat.
Eden swallows every drop before slowly licking him clean.   She then slowly works her way back up his body pulling him in for a kiss.   She explores every inch of his mouth with her tongue letting him taste himself on her lips and tongue.   Chase slowly backs her towards the bed.  He breaks the kiss long enough to pull her shirt over her head tossing it.
"Jesus Eden that bra." Chase moans seeing it.
He pulls one strap down kissing her shoulder as he does.  Then kisses the other as he pulls that strap down.   He sucks and licks the tops of each breast peaking out from the cup.   He pulls the cups down taking one in his mouth running a circle around her nipple with his tongue before sucking on it gently nibbling on it bringing it to a peak.
"Clyde." Eden moans running her fingers in his hair.
Chase moves to the other breast doing the same thing.   He slowly unclasps the bra pulling it off tossing it aside as well.    He then kisses softly down her stomach to the band of her jeans.
He uses his teeth to pop open the button lightly nibbling on her belly as he slowly inches them down her hips and legs. Eden steps out of them kicking off her shoes.
"God baby those panties.  God so wet." Chase moans running his mouth over her pussy smelling her juices.
He then slowly works them down over her hips and down her legs.     Eden kicks them off.   He then slowly kisses his way up her legs placing a kiss on each thigh.   He blows cool breath across her mound as she slowly spreads her legs.   He runs his tongue up and down her slit before pushing inside starting to fuck her with his tongue.
Not long after he started Eden gently pulls his hair pulling him away from her.
"Fuck me Clyde." Eden  says all but begging him.
"God okay baby."  Chase says kissing his way up her body.   He picks her up kissing her letting her taste her on his lips and tongue and gently lays her down on the bed.
"God please Clyde I need you inside me now." Eden moans.
"God baby." Chase moans as he gently pushes inside her.
"God yes." Eden moans as he starts to thrust gently at first.
He wanted to go slow letting her adjust to his size.   She was so tight and wet.
"Jesus Eden you feel so good.  Like a glove." Chase moans.
"God fuck me Clyde hard and fast." Eden moans digging her nails into his back.
Chase moves a little harder and faster.   Eden wraps her legs around his waist letting him go deeper inside her.
"Eden oh god." Chase moans going even harder.
"Clyde god that's it." Eden moans as he stretched her even further.
She throws her head back arching into him.  It felt so good.
"God baby I am not going to last." Chase moans
"Cum baby let me feel it." Eden monas.
"Eden sweet Eden." Chase moans looking deep into her eyes as he cums hard deep inside her.
"Clyde oh god." Eden moans shuttering as her orgasm rushes through her.
She cums with him feeling him coat her insides.   She just moans as her body shutters from the pleasure.
Chase kisses her gently on the lips and then the jaw and neck as they ride it out.
"God Clyde again  I need you again." Eden moans.
She just wanted to feel that good again and not think about anything.
"Okay Eden but this time it will be nice and slow." Chase says.
"Please." Eden begs.
Chase starts to move again inside her taking it nice and slow.
"Eden god." Chase moans loving being inside her.
"Clyde god." Eden moans as he slowly builds her up.
"So close." Eden moans.
"Cum baby." Chase moans.
"Clyde." Eden moans as she cums.
"That's it baby milk my release." Chase moans as he cums again inside her.
They make love a few more times before Eden's eyelashes started to flutter.   Chase gets up.
"Where are you going?" Eden asks sleepily.
"Shhh baby I will be back." Chase says kissing her softly on the lips.
He goes into the bathroom grabbing a wash cloth wetting it with warm water.   He then comes over and gently wipes her down cleaning her.
He goes and tosses the rag in the hamper and then climbs into bed beside her.   She curls up to him laying her head on his chest.   Chase pulls the blanket up over them kissing her head as they both fall asleep.
**************************
The next morning Eden and Chase woke up when the alarm went off.
"Good morning baby:" Chase says.
"Good morning, oh god." Eden says getting up and running to the bathroom.
She made it just in time to empty her stomach in the toilet. Chase was right behind her. She got her everything up. Chase then picks her up gently and carries her back to bed.
"Sorry baby." Eden says.
"For what?" Chase asks.
"Getting sick." Eden replies.
"It's okay." Chase replies.
"I need to go back. I have to change before I head to practice." Eden replies.
"Yeah I know. I am glad I was able to see you." Chase says.
"Me too I will try and make the race on Sunday." Eden adds.
Chase smiles. He gives her a few shirts from his collection. They then head to the car and head back to Eden's hotel.
"I will see you later princess. I love you." Chase says.
"I will see you later Clyde. I love you too." Eden replies.
They share a few more kisses not wanting to part ways. But finally Eden heads inside and up to her room. She showered and got dressed and then heads down to the bus. Once everyone was on they head to the arena. Eden goes and gets the exam room set up in case they would need it for anything. That was when she felt arms snake around her waist.
"Hey baby, I missed you last night." Sid says.
"Hi Sid. Sorry I was so tired. Still getting used to the time change." Eden replies lying.
She didn't know what he would do if he knew she was with Chase. She was scared of him. It sucked cus she had a contract and had to work with the Penguins until the end of the 2021 season. Even though she wanted to quit.
"I know it can take effect on you but you will get used to it." Sid says.
"I know. Don't you have practice?" Eden asks.
" I do but I wanted to know if you were doing anything after?" Sid asks.
"No I don't. Sunday I am going to the NASCAR race before the game that night. But nothing today." Eden replies.
"Okay maybe I can come to your room, we can order room service and watch movies." Sid says.
"Okay." Eden says.
"Good see you then." Sid replies.
"Is Kris coming too?" Eden asks.
"Nope just me this time." Sid says.
"Okay." Eden replies.
Sid kisses her and leaves to attend practice. Eden grabs a little something from the snack bar and goes and watches practice. Halfway through Kris took a high stick to the face and there was blood.
"I got it." Eden says.
Kris comes down the runway and into the exam room. Eden follows him in. Kris was sitting on the table.
"Damn that hurt like a son of a bitch." Kris says.
"Sorry Kris." Eden says dabbing the blood away with a towel.
"It's okay. Is it bad?" Kris asks.
"Yes going to need stitches but shouldn't keep you out of the game tomorrow." Eden says.
"Good." Kris says.
Eden stitches him up. Kris puts his hand over hers.
"Thank you. Sorry for the other day Eden. Are you okay?" Kris asks.
"Yeah I'm okay. And your welcome it's my job." Eden says.
"I know. Im still thankful for you." Kris says.
"I know. I don't know what's going to happen between us but I promise I won't tell anyone about you and Sid. I just don't think I can do this. It took me to moving away and being away from him to realize how much I love Chase." Eden says.
"I know I can tell. Look if you want out that is fine. I know you won't tell anyone about me and Sid but I don't know if Sid will let you go." Kris says.
"I know." Eden says.
"Did you ever love us?" Kris asks.
"I loved you Kris you never hurt me.   Sid in the other hand." Eden says looking down.
"I'm sorry he hurt you Eden." Kris says lifting her head up.
He leans in and kisses her.    Eden kisses back.
"God." Eden moans as she pulls away.
"Go lock the door." Kris says.
Eden goes and locks the door.     She comes back over and climbs into his lap.
"God." Eden moans as he shreds her panties.
"I like skirts." Kris says.
"God." Eden moans as Kris pushes up into her.
"Ride me pretty girl. You know you want to." Kris says.
"God Kris." Eden moans as she starts to move up and down.
"That's it pretty girl." Kris says grabbing her hips.
They needed to be faster. Kris took control of their movements. Eden bit her arm throwing her head back to keep from screaming out. Kris nips and sucks her neck as they move.
"Eden fuck." Kris calls out as he cums hard deep inside of her.
"Kris. "Eden moans out as she cums with him.
They ride it out and Kris picks her up off of him. He stands up and fixes himself.
Kris then kisses her head before walking out the door. Eden collected herself. She then cleans up the exam room and prepared it from the game tomorrow. She then heads out and gets on the bus.
Once all the boys were on board they all head back to the hotel. Eden goes up to her room. She changes into her new Chase Elliott shirt and a pair of lounge pants. She wasn't feeling the greatest. She was laying down when there was a knock at her door. She gets up and opens it. Sid was there with room service and flowers.
"Come in." Eden says letting him in.
"Thanks." Sid says kissing her cheek.
Eden shuts the door.
"What did you bring?" Eden asks.
"Chicken noodle soup and ginger ale. Because I know you said you weren't feeling good." Sid says.
"I am not." Eden replies.
"I am sorry. Well let's eat and then we can relax and watch something on Netflix or something." Sid says.
Eden nods her head yes. So far it was going okay and she wasn't afraid. This was the Sid she started dating. They ate the soup and Eden nibbled the saltines. She sipped the ginger ale. Finally they laid in bed and Eden turned on Netflix. She turned on Sweet Home Alabama one of her favorite movies. She started to think about Chase. This movie was the story of their lives. Sid started to kiss her. Eden kisses back closing her eyes. As they were making out Sid runs his hands down her body. He runs them down her pants and under wear rubbing her pussy before sticking a finger in.
"Hmm nice and wet for me pretty girl." Sid says.
"Yes." Eden moans. She was pretending it was Chase.
"Want me to fuck you pretty girl?" Sid asks.
"Please." Eden begs.
Sid slides her pants and panties off followed by his jeans and boxer briefs. He then hovers over her running his tip along her entrance.
"Soaking for daddy." Sid moans.
"God don't tease." Eden begs.
Sid pushes into her and starts to move thrusting hard and fast.
"Fuck baby." Sid moans as she moves with him.
She wrapped her legs around his waist letting him go deeper.
"God." Eden moans digging her nails into his back.
She still had her eyes closed pretending it was Chase fucking her.
"That's it pretty girl milk my cock baby get ready to take my cum." Sid moans.
"GOd." Eden moans she was almost there.
"Fuck Eden god." Sid moans as he cums hard pumping her pussy full of his cum.
"Clyde oh god Clyde." Eden calls out as she cums too.
"What the fuck did you just call me?" Sid shouts slapping her.
Eden's eyes flashed open and she realized that by her fantasizing about Chase she called out his name.
"Umm." Eden says.
"Did you call me Clyde? Were you thinking about another man while I was fucking you." Sid screams at her.
Eden was so scared she didn't know what to say.
"Answer me you ungrateful ass whore." Sid screams.
"Yes I am so disgusted by you and how you treat me that in order for me to even attempt to have sex I have to think about Chase so I can get off." Eden screams out pushing him off of her.
She gets up off the bed. She was going to hide in the bathroom or something. She had her cell phone.
"You fucking whore. Don't you ever push me again or I will rip your hair out and choke you with it." Sid yells grabbing her hair pulling her back to him.
"Ow you are hurting me." Eden says.
"You think I fucking care. I hope it hurts. Remeber I am the only guy besides Kris who can cum in your sweet pussy. We are the only ones who can fuck you." Sid says.
"Fuck off Sid. I want out of this. I can't stand you. I fucking hate you. Get out." Eden screams turning around wailing out on him.
"You want to hit me bitch. I am going to show you." Sid says.
He picks her up throwing her back into the mirror glass shattering. He bashes her head against it not caring that it busted her head open. He then throws her down onto the floor throwing the mirror down on top of her covering her in glass.
"I will kill you before I ever let you leave." Sid says.
"Please I need help." Eden cries out.
"Fuck that bleed for all I care. If I can't have you no one will." Sid says as he kicks her hard.
Eden whimpers. Sid then leaves the room door slamming behind him. Eden still had her cell phone. It took everything in her to dial his number.
"Hey Princess." Chase says answering on the first ring.
"Chase help. I am hurt." Eden says.
"Eden? Where are you?" Chase asks panicked.
"Hotel Chase. Hurry." Eden says before she blacked out.
"Hang tight princess. I am coming to get you." Chase says.
You ever love somebody so much
You can barely breathe, when you're with them, you meet
And neither one of you, even know what hit 'em
Got that warm fuzzy feeling, yeah them chills, used to get 'em
Now you're getting fucking sick, of looking at 'em
You swore you've never hit 'em, never do nothing to hurt 'em
Now you're in each other's face,
Spewing venom in your words, when you spit 'em
You push, pull each other's hair, scratch, claw, bit 'em
Throw 'em down, pin 'em, so lost in the moments, when you're in 'em
It's the rage that took over it controls you both
So they say it's best, to go your separate ways
Guess that they don't know ya 'cause today, that was yesterday
Yesterday is over, it's a different day
Sound like broken records, playin' over, but you promised her
Next time you'll show restraint
You don't get another chance
Life is no Nintendo game, but you lied again
Now you get to watch her leave
Out the window, guess that's why they call it window pane
Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
But that's alright, because I like the way it hurts
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry
But that's alright, because I love the way you lie
I love the way you lie
I love the way you lie

[Part 1]
_______________________
You and Peter were getting back from one of your night patrols, it was something that the two of you always did and it was part of your routine now, you loved fighting crime beside him, and he loved being able to fight by your side as well, the both of you made such a perfect team that even your dad, Tony Stark was proud.
"So… I was thinking" Peter takes off his mask giving you a look, you look at him waiting for him to keep talking "You know, how I always spend time on the avengers place? I was thinking that maybe you would like to… I don't know… Spend some time at my place? Maybe?" Peter smiles awkwardly, you remove your marks looking at him with a smile.
"You got all shy all of a sudden" You put your arms around his neck, giving him a little kiss on the lips.
"Not with you, I mean, no, I just… Do you think that it's time to introduce you to my friends?" Peter sighs.
"Wow…" You look at him with surprise "You have friends?!" Peter looks at you offended, you start laughing and he can't help but laugh as well with you "I'd love to meet them, if that's what you want Pete… I'll do it" Peter looks at your face trying to memorize your features, but to be honest, he already knows your entire face and body by memory, he just loves admiring your beauty.
"That will mean a lot to me, thank you" Peter closes his eyes giving you a sweet kiss.
"Well… in that case, just tell me when and I'll be there" You smile.
"How about tomorrow? You can go to my school and you can spend a day in my world" Peter suggested, you frown, that wasn't what you had in mind when he told you he wanted you to meet his friends.
"At your school?!" You ask, surprised.
"Yeah, is that… a bad idea?".
"Well, why not after school? We can go eat something or maybe… Why?" You put your hands on your hips, you can't help but laugh. "Don't you nerds go out?".
"Ouch…" Peter smiles "Well, remember I told you I'm going to the academy decathlon? I need to start staying after school to study and between classes as well from time to time, and besides… I could really use your company" Peter grabs your hands swinging both your bodies, you only shake your head.
"Alright fine, I'll go to school with you tomorrow, but I'm not taking the bus, I'll go swinging" You wink at him.
"Uh, no, you need to take the bus with me, so you can pass as one of the students" Peter winks back.
"Ugh! Is it really that necessary?!" Peter hugs you, hiding his face in the crack  of your neck.
"For me… pleeeeeease?" Peter whispers against your skin.
"Okay… See you tomorrow then" You put on your mask getting ready to go back to the chaotic place you call home.
"Love you!" Peter screams, smiling and feeling the luckiest man alive, once he lost the sight of you, he climbs the wall and opens his window to get into his room, tomorrow was the big day, he'd  been waiting for so long to introduce you to Ned and MJ, he was sure you were gonna love them.
[°°°]
"Wake up Parker!" You open his window, getting inside his room, Peter was getting changed after his usual morning shower, he looked back at you smiling.
"Good morning baby" He blows a kiss at you from afar, you sit on his bed taking a good look at his room, you've been there plenty of times, but today felt different, you felt a bit nervous and you didn't know why.
"When are we leaving?" You ask, impatiently.
"Well, you're a bit early baby girl, the bus will be here in thirty minutes" Peter puts on his shirt and sits beside you on his bed.
"You're not taking the suit?" You lift his shirt a bit, looking at his bare skin, Peter smiles and shakes his head.
"I want this to be a normal day for the both of us, just you, me, school, friends, a normal teenagers romance… No super heroes, no super powers, no fighting the bad guys, just for today" Peter grabs your hand.
"Pete… Baby… I am the daughter of Tony Stark, even before I got my powers, the words 'have a normal day weren’t part of my vocabulary" You fake a smile and Peter chuckles, biting his lip.
"Are you wearing your suit?".
"No, it's in my backpack, just in case you know…" Peter grabs your backpack, he opens it taking out the suit, throwing it into his closet. "Pete…" you look at your boyfriend with sadness "I'm already going to school with you let me take the suit, you never know!".
"Y/N, nothing will happen today, and I promise that after school we'll come back here and we'll go back to being Mr and Mrs Spider-Man" Peter jokes, you smile with sadness nodding, after all you promised him a normal day.
"Peter I seriously can't believe I'm the one who's asking to keep the suit and not the other way around".
"Honey we'll be okay!". "Fine… But if something does happen, I'm calling dad". "That won't be necessary". "We'll see". "We won't".
After a quick breakfast with Aunt May, you and Peter went down to the bus stop and waited for your ride to his school, you were used to Happy driving you to your private school where your dad had you at, you always wondered what it would be like to go on a bus like Peter did all the time, not wear a uniform, this could be a good day, maybe you can convince Tony to let you change school.
"So, we met at the Stark Internship… right?" You look at Peter trying to memorize the fake story on how you two met.
"Exactly, let's not mention that we both have super powers" Peter smiles.
"I thought your friend Ned knew?".
"Well, yeah, he's the only one, but the story is for the rest of them" Peter takes your hand.
"Okay… my last name is… (Y/R/L/N)?" You sigh "I'm ready!".
As the bus arrives, Peter manages to sneak you in without the bus driver noticing, but you didn't feel worried, it was an old man and he could barely see.
"There's Ned, my best friend" Peter points at a guy in the middle of the bus, you nod, just following Peter.
"Hey bro!" Ned smiles at Peter, you see them make a kind of secret handshake, you smile at the sight of such a cute act.
"Ned, this is Y/N… The Y/N" Peter says nervously, Ned looks at you and he opens his mouth with surprise.
"You're Peter's girlfriend?!" Ned asks.
"Yup… Nice to finally meet you, Peter talks a lot about you" You shake Ned's hand.
"He talks about me?! Ha! He talks about you a lot as well, you're like the main topic of our conversations" Ned chuckles, Peter hits Ned's arm giving him a warning.
"I'm flattered, I hope he only says good things" You look at Peter, taking a seat next to Ned.
"You're not sitting with me?" Peter chuckles.
"Nah, Ned's better company" You wink an eye at Peter, he takes a seat in front of the both of you.
"So… Are you really Tony Stark's daughter?" Ned asks.
"I don't know what you're talking about, we met at Stark industries… I have an internship as well" you smile.
"Baby, remember he knows" Peter chuckles.
"Oh… yeah, sorry" You smile shyly at Ned "So you know about Spidey?" You whisper at Ned.
"About Spidey one and two" Ned smiles and you smile at him.
"Well I'm glad I don't have to pretend in front of someone".
The bus makes another stop and a bunch of students get inside of the bus, you see Peter shake his hand in the air with a smile, you look over to see a pretty girl, messy hair and a 'kill me' kind of face, you knew that was MJ, Peter always says that she has a funeral face.
"Sup losers" MJ sits beside Peter. She looks at you and you give her a small smile.
"Hey" you say, MJ looks at Ned and then at you.
"Who is she?".
"She's my girlfriend" Peter spoke, MJ looks at Peter with an extremely surprised look, but her face goes back to her neutral expression right away.
"So, you're that Y/N?" MJ looks at you.
"Yes, you must be MJ" You offer her your hand to shake, but instead she gives an awkward high-five.
"Are you sure you're dating this ass? He's not paying you to fake a relationship?" MJ looks at you trying to study your expressions, you only chuckle shaking your head.
"Hey! I can get a girlfriend!" Peter says offended.
"Yeah boy… but not like her, she's waaaaay out of your league" MJ huff taking out her book, Peter looks at you and you give him a little wink.
Once the four of you arrived at school, no one was paying attention to you, which you liked, normally, at your other school you were treating with a bit of privilege just because of your last name, and here, it was all different, maybe because no one really knew your real last name, or maybe because you were with the nerds, but you liked it, being invisible for once.
"Let's go to class then" Peter grabs your hand.
"What class do we have first?" You smile.
"Wait… you're attending this school now!?" Ned exclaims.
"Yes, for today" You smile shyly.
"Cool… Are we going to say that she's an exchange student from another country or...?" Ned looks at Peter.
"No, she just transferred schools that's it" Peter smiles.
"I can make an accent" you look at both boys.
"I wanna hear" Ned smiles.
"Please no" Peter puts his hands over his ears, as you start speaking with a heavy (very bad) french accent, making Ned laugh, even MJ gave you a small chuckle.
"Can she please keep the accent?!" Ned looks at Peter.
"No! Please no!" Peter grabs your hand pulling you to class.
The teacher was already there so you had to go through the entire 'hi I'm blablablaba the new kid' kind of thing.
"Y/N, tell us a bit about you" the teacher looks at you. You felt everyone's eyes over you, you looked at Peter who was sitting in his place, saving a chair beside him for you.
"I'm dating Spider-Man" you said seriously, you could hear Peter choke in the back of the class, everyone was quiet, but then everyone started laughing and Peter felt his soul go back to his body.
"Yeah, I'm dating Spider-Man as well" another girl jokes.
"Okay Y/N go take a seat" the teacher smiles. You nod walking towards Peter, you look at the girl who made a joke as well, you lean close and whisper.
"You're not his type sweetie" You wink and eye to her and she rolls her eyes at you.
You sit beside Peter taking out a notebook and a pen out of your backpack.
"Hey sweetie… Don't sit with Parker, come sit with us" you look up from your notebook to see a boy wearing a Polo shirt, you knew, by fact that he was Flash, the annoying son of a… Who made Peter's life a living hell in school.
"No thanks, I'm good here" You fake a smile.
"Come on, I don't bite, unless you want me to" Flash winks at you and his friends start laughing.
"Just ignore him," Peter whispers, taking your hand.
"Permission to break his jaw" you whisper with anger.
"As much as I'd love to see that, permission not granted… It's okay, he's like that, you'll get used to him" Peter chuckles.
"Okay, but if he says something offensive to you, I won't hesitate".
"I love when you get all overprotective of me" Peter whispers in your ear leaving a small kiss on your cheek.
"Well, you know that someone has your back Parker" You bite your lip, trying not to kiss him so you both don't get detention.
As class goes by, you actually pay a lot of attention to it, making a bet with Peter on who could answer more questions than the other, the loser will go patrolling alone, but the both of you know that's an impossible thing.
You and Peter go to the next class, woodshop.
As you and Peter arrive, Ned is already there, working on something, Peter grabs your hand and you look at him with a smile.
"Remember when you first got your powers? I made your web shooters here" Peter smiles, you could see how proud he was of his work.
"I can remember that day as if it was yesterday… And I can also remember your face when you showed me the web shooters for the first time" You caress his cheek with love, Peter feels electricity in his body, he shakes a bit and smiles, you really had an effect on him.
The two of you made your way to Ned, you see him working on some type of mechanic arm, he seemed to be having a bit of a problem there, you look at Peter wondering if he's going to help his friend, but no, Peter only sits beside him, working on his own project.
"Need a hand Ned?" You smile, sitting in front of him. Ned and Peter look at you.
"Uh… I don't really want to bother, I can't seem to make this work, I don't know why" Ned shows you the mechanic hand, you grab it taking a good look.
Grabbing a bunch of tools on the table, you quickly manage to fix it and the mechanic like hand starts moving.
"Wow… where did you learn that?" Peter looks at you with a bright smile.
"Yeah, that took you like five seconds!" Ned grabs the hand admiring your work.
"Well, I'm Tony Stark's daughter, I know how to repair his suits as well" Your chest sticks out and you look at Peter feeling proud, you were glad that there was something Peter Parker didn't know about you.
"You keep surprising me babe" Peter smiles and winks at you.
"Not in front of me guys, please…" Ned rolls his eyes and goes back to working on his hand, you and Peter chuckle.
"So… You really are spending your day with the nerds huh?" Someone speaks behind you, you take your eyes off of Peter's project to look behind you.
Flash was there, he was holding his phone typing something, he looked at you smiling.
"I knew I've seen that pretty face before…" Flash has a cocky smile in his face, he then turns his phone to you "Tony Stark donates one million dollars to charity, and beside him, the women that inspire him to do good day by day… His wife, Pepper Potts, and his daughter, Y/N Stark…" Flash finishes reading the news, you really started to hate that guy.
Peter looks at Flash with anger, all he wanted to do was have a normal day with you in school, show you that you could be happy in a normal kind of way, but of course Flash was so obsessed with him that he had to ruin everything.
Peter stands up from his chair ready to fight Flash, but your words stop him.
"So…? Should I give you a golden star?" You ask Flash, with the same cocky smile now "Should I clap for you? Let me do it…" You start clapping in his face "You're so intelligent, you found out who I am!".
Peter looks at you and then at Flash, feeling proud as hell, Flash looked intimidated by you, and Peter was enjoying the show.
"I-" Flash opens his mouth but you interrupt him.
"So what's your point… Flash, right?" You cross your arms.
"Just tell us all the truth! You're not dating Penis Parker! You're here to donate money to school or something!" Flash smiles back at you.
The smile on your face is replaced with pure anger, your eyes darkening as you look at Flash, you could hear him swallow saliva.
"You did not just  say that" Peter whispers with a smile, he goes back to his  seat he was tired of letting Flash get away with all the shit he does, and of course he couldn't punch him cause it was obvious who would win, he was trying to be fair. But today, today it was different, and he was glad his queen was here.
Flash looks at Peter and then back at you, knowing that he made a huge mistake on calling Peter that in front of you.
"What's your point?" You speak with anger.
"Just tell us you're not dating Parker, he has nothing to offer! Instead go out with me! I have money, cars… I can take you wherever you want" You put your arm around  Flash's shoulders squishing hard, he starts to feel pain but he holds it in, trying to look tough you made him face Peter, your boyfriend looking at the both of you delighted.
"You looking at that man right there?" You point at Peter "He gon' get it when we get home, he will keep me up all night… He is much more than you'll ever be!" You squish  Flash's shoulders even more, but not enough to leave  bruises the next day. "You say you have money? Cool, he has an immense heart, amazing jokes... you have a car? Cool… He has something better I prefer to ride" You wink at Peter and you see him blush, he was red at this point "Flash, you wish you could be like Peter Benjamin Parker, now, do me a favor and leave me and my boyfriend alone" you push Flash away from you, sitting back with Peter and Ned, you turn around one last time look at him "Leave your obsession with Peter behind, we all know you're not his type" You wink and eye to Flash.
Flash basically leaves running, when he does, Ned and Peter explode in laughter, you look at the both of them with a smile.
"Damn! That was amazing! About damn time someone said something to Flash" Ned cleans his fake tears.
"You didn't  have to  say anything to him Y/N" Peter smiles.
"You're right, we don't need to prove anything to that loser, but I got angry! He's an asshole and the thought of you having to deal with this dumbass all the time makes my blood boil!" You take a deep breath trying to calm down "Also, I wanted him to know how good you are at what you do" you wink and eye to Peter, your boyfriend opens his eyes wide and looks at Ned, who is pretending to mind his own business with his mechanic arm.
"Y/N… Don't speak like that" Peter whispers, he was a blushy mess, he looked adorable.
"Oh Peter, you should feel proud of yourself…" You stand up looking around "I'm bored, I'm gonna build something" You smile and you start walking around the classroom looking for pieces for a project.
Back at the table, Ned turns his head to look at you and then he looks at Peter.
"Man… I don't know what you did to get a girl like her, but you're one lucky moth-" Peter covers his mouth, blushing.
"Okay Ned, she's too hot for me I get it…" Peter looks at you smiling "When she's with me all boys hate me".
And he was right, and he just proved that with Flash trying to steal you from him, the way you talked to Flash, the way you defend Peter, it made him feel some kind of way, he wasn't used to having you do that, but he was proud of it.
[°°°]
The bell rings letting all the students know that the day is over, you stand up from your chair looking at Peter, waiting for instructions.
"Okay, let's go home" Peter smiles taking your hand.
"Home?" You look at him confused "don't you need to study with your decathlon team?".
"Yeah I do but…" He leans closer to you and whispers in your ear. "You said I was gonna get it when we get home so… Let's keep you up all night" He gives you a soft kiss on the lips.
"Peter Parker… I-" you try to make a joke but you just can't, he caught you off guard "Oh boy… Let's go! You have work to do!" You smile and clap happily making Peter laugh out loud, catching everyone's attention, but he didn't care.
He was planning on having a nice evening with you and his friends, but that could wait, you can see his friends any other day.

Tapping your red painted nails on the table, you occasionally tap your phone to see if there's any text from him and to check the time. You would only wait for him for another five minutes, you had been waiting at the cafe for almost thirty-minutes.
Sipping on the mixed berries smoothie, your mind started to drift away from the cafe. You were wondering about the man you had been waiting for. No, he was not your boyfriend and you wouldn't really call him a friend. He's just a guy from marketing class who happened to be paired with you for an assignment because you were absent when the professor asked the students to form a pair. Same goes for him. That was the reason you were meeting him that day.
Your body jumped slightly when a screeching sound greeted your ears. Someone just pulled the chair in front of you and took a seat in a rush, placing a backpack on top of the table. You heard he gasped for air as he offered you an apologetic smile. His hair was tousled, his wavy bang stuck to his sweaty forehead.
"I am so sorry." He verbally apologized to you this time, pulling out his laptop from the black bag.
"Yongguk!" You let out a comforting laugh. "Calm down. Why are you acting like you're being chased by a ghost?"
He mirrored your smile and you prefered it better than his previous awkward smile. He had pretty lips, you personally loved the curls at the corner. "I thought you were mad at me." There was a hint of relief in his voice.
You crossed your arms and said, "I am mad at you."
"I am sorry…"
"This is my first and last warning, okay?" You playfully squint your eyes at him, trying to intimidate him but you could imagine how ridiculous you looked. He nodded, offering that beautiful smile that made your heart skip a beat again.
"Wanna have a cold drink? Your face is red. It must be hot outside." Your eyes scanned his face and the way his hair still stuck to his forehead bothered you. You rummaged through your tote bag and held out a red handkerchief to him, pointing at his temple.
He stared at your face for a moment, digesting your action and you swore you caught his eyes darted to your red lips before he looked at the handkerchief and received it.
He pushed his hair back, making it even messier and dabbed the handkerchief on his forehead. A gasp left your lips when you saw his slender fingers. They were bruised.
"Yongguk, what happened?" You asked, very concerned. Did he get into a fight?
"Huh?" Then, he realized the cause of your concern and hid his hands under the table. "Nothing. I'll go and order my drink." He left the table and headed for the counter. It was obvious he was avoiding your question. You had no rights to push him to tell you but it fell wrong to let him with his bruised hand like that. You called for a staff that was passing by and asked for a first-aid box. Yongguk came back with a cup of iced americano, brow lifted when he saw the box.
"You didn't have to."
"I wanted to help." You insisted. "Give me your hand." You started treating his wound, too focused that you didn't realize Yongguk was gazing at you like he would to the stars on the night sky.
It was the longest time you'd ever held hands with a man that wasn't your boyfriend.
***
A 3 days 2 nights class trip.
You were catching up with your group of girlfriends, waiting for the bus driver to open the door of the vehicle. They were talking about the clothes they brought. You had been trying hard not to but your eyes wandered around the crowd, hoping to see him. It was a dumb thing to do, though. He had replied to your text a few days ago saying he was not a fan of socializing with a lot of people so he would pass this one. Still, you wished he came.
You watched as two men were laughing about something on their phone and when they moved from their spot, it revealed a man who was sitting on top of his luggage, carrying a backpack. Your face immediately lit up, walking toward him who was scrolling his phone. He didn't notice your presence until you poked his arm. He lifted his eyes from the screen and met yours. You caught the flickers in his eyes when he saw your wide smile.
"Hi." He greeted you.
"You're here." You stated dreamily, confirming it to yourself. You were so disappointed a few minutes ago but it was all forgotten.
"I'm here."
"You're here." You repeated like a broken lovesick doll. His melodious chuckle rang in your ear, making your chest swell with something you could not put a name on it. Something crossed your mind, "Wanna sit together?"
"Err…" He hesitated to answer and you couldn't help but be crestfallen.
"It's okay. I was asking just in case you didn't have a seat partne—"
"What about your friends?" was his question.
"Hmm…" You took a few seconds to make a sentence in your mind. "We're a group of five so one will be left out."
"Let's sit together." He reached out to lightly nudge your arm, for no obvious reason.
You smiled, "Let's sit together."
***
That night, you slipped away from your group of friends again to talk to Yongguk. They didn't question why you sat with Yongguk in the bus, knowing you were acquainted with him. Apart from talking to you, Yongguk didn't talk much with anyone else. He joined it when a group of men gathered but he only observed and listened. That's why you felt obligated to talk to him, after all you were the one who convinced him to come.
You were walking toward him when a stranger approached you, selling you a bouquet of flowers. You didn't need those pretty flowers yet you found yourself taking out money from your tote bag and purchased the bouquet. Yongguk would like it, right?
The whole group of the trip were allowed to sightsee on the street, to admire the architecture of the unique buildings there. Yongguk was alone, sitting on a wooden bench near a tall dim lamp pole, slurping a cup of instant noodles he got from the nearest convenience store.
A pair of eyes lit up when he saw you but his mouth was full so he hummed and tipped his head to acknowledge your presence. You took a place next to him and held out the flowers to him.
"For you." You shyly looked at his bewildered face, almost wanting to hide your face in your hands but you kept your cool.
"For me?" His muffled voice inquired as he  was covering his full mouth with a hand. His cheeks flushed when he received them from you, eyes marvelled at the pretty colours.
"Hungry?"
"Oh, sorry." He felt bad for eating alone so he offered the cup to you. You were still full from the meal you had before but something about sharing food with Yongguk excited you so you accepted his offer. Your fingers brushed against his when you took the chopsticks from him, smiling to yourself. You lowered your head to slurp on the hot noodles, forgot to put your long black hair to the back first so a strand of hair entered your mouth along with the noodles but only Yongguk noticed it. So with one hand holding the flowers bouquet, another hand gathered your silky hair and held it back while you kept slurping. His action was so intimate to you, you felt your face getting warm. Or was it the noodles?
You returned the cup back to him and helped him hold the flowers so he could finish his noodles.
Indirect kiss. Silly, girly part of your mind whispered to your heart when he put the chopsticks you just used to his lips. He drank the soup before proudly showing the empty cup to you and tossed it into the trash bin nearby.
"Let's have a walk." He took the bouquet from your hand, only after he quickly caressed the back of your hand with his thumb. And you… your head was high in the cloud, dreamily followed him while staring at his side profile as he was sniffing the flowers. He was such a view, the yellowish dim light that illuminated the street made him look ten times intriguing that he usually were. You wished you could save this view in your mind and look at it on the nights you spend thinking about him. You took out your phone, contemplating whether to ask for his permission first or not.
"Why did you get me this?" He walked closer to you, arms brushing so that you could hear his voice clearly. There were a lot of times you told him you couldn't understand what he said because he mumbled his words, especially when there were others around.
"They are pretty..."
"Hmm?" One of his brow lifted, not understanding how that could be the reason. However, his lips bloomed into a smile.
"...and remind me of your smile." At this point, you were sure you were making your feelings too obvious. Seeing how flustered you were and the way you started to look anywhere but his face, he didn't want to tease you.
"Thank you." He gratefully said. "Can you take a photo of me? This is my first time receiving flowers. I want to keep the photo as a memory."
"Sure." Of course you could take more than a photo, you already intended to do so before he asked. You took multiple shots of him asking him to move around until you got the best shot.
"Done." You announced, looking at the photos to review them. Yongguk quickly held your arm and pulled you to the side as there were a group of people who wanted to pass by the alley. You looked up in surprise at him before shifting your gaze back to your phone, knowing he had kept you safe.
You leaned your arm on the wall as Yongguk came closer and leaned down to look at the shots you took as you were shorter than him.
"Wow, they came out well."
Your eyes widened at how close he sounded, sending shivers down your spine. You were too afraid to move, as his deep voice rang exactly next to your ear, like his lips were somewhere near your earlobe. You leaned closer to the wall to create more space but there was no use as he was too close. You were not afraid of him taking advantage of you, you were afraid the proximity confirmed your feelings for him.
His slender forefinger was swiping on the screen on your phone while he kept talking about the photos as you were staring at his jaw, eventually at his lips. Yongguk frowned when he noticed your silence so he turned to face you and he was stunned.
There was something burning in your eyes and your lips were parted as your chest was heaving softly. His brown orbs followed the movement of yours, seeking for something. When you breathed through your mouth, the warm breath hit his face, giving him goosebumps.
Both of you stiffened as Yongguk rested his palm on the wall you were leaning on. Your eyes fluttered close when his lips landed on your smooth cheek, nose poking your flesh there. Your cold hands were awkwardly holding your phone on the same spot, floating in the air. You could hear the pounding of your heart and you bet he could hear it too.
His lips lingered on your skin longer than you expected but it was better that way. What if he regretted it after he pulled away?
A gasp left your lip when his cold fingers touched your chin and turned your head to face him fully. Now your back was leaning on the wall, you between his arms. You were getting shy with the way he was scanning your face.
However, you found yourself looking up voluntarily and tip-toeing to meet his lips.
Your movement stopped when your lips were barely an inch from his, he just put his hand on your shoulders, squeezing them. He whispered your name, softly and lovingly. Repetitively, like a prayer. But to your ears, it was a sweet spell. Hypnotizing, making your fall deeper and deeper and you hoped he was there to catch you.
Yongguk didn't want to rush the kiss even though your lips that were always painted in red haunted him whenever he was alone. If he kissed you, he was afraid he couldn't let you go. If he kissed you, he was afraid he would surrender his heart to your hands. He was not sure if you're up for it and he didn't trust you enough for that.
Another kiss to the cheek would be enough, he decided. He placed his cold hand on your warm neck and you almost let out a sigh at the stark contrast. When his lips landed on your cheek again, your heart flipped yet there was a sudden ache. Maybe because you were hoping for something more.
You inhaled his scent, intoxicating mix of something gingery, minty and smoky. It registered in your head that he was probably a smoker, his lips were a bit purplish rather than pink in colour.
He abruptly pulled away when there were loud footsteps and yelling. You friends were coming your way, they had been looking for you.
"Yah, did you just take advantage of her?" One of your friends hit him with a bottle, staring accusingly. Yongguk looked at you, the fire in his eyes dimmed as he was waiting for you to say something. For you to deny the accusation.
"Guys, it's not like that. Let's go." You wrapped your arms around your friends' and dragged them away from there so they would not bully Yongguk anymore.
You friends were busy nagging at you, scolding you for not being careful.
"Yah, stop being too close with him. I told you he's a lot older than us all."
"How is that a problem?" You let out an incredulous laugh. His age did not matter at all.
"That means there's something wrong with him. Why would someone take a long gap year to finish his studies?"
"He always has bruises. What if he's a gangster?" Another friend added.
"And he is so quiet and creepy. Like he's on drugs or something."
"Yah, that's not nice!" You hit her on her arm. Yongguk was indeed suspicious but you had never imagined to that extent.
"I'm just telling you he's a bad guy!"
"Let's stop talking about him and enjoy our time here." You suggested, tired of their babbles. They silently agreed and were looking for a famous building while referring to the map in one of your friends' smartphone. You took the chance to turn around, looking for him. There he was, walking alone around ten steps away. Your eyes met his, he was a bit surprised when you turned around because he had been watching you.
You mouthed something to him, making sure your friends did not see you. You smiled when his brows knitted together in confusion. He didn't catch it the first time so you moved your lips again.
There was a tingling burst on your chest when he caught what you're trying to say, flashing you his adorable gummy smile that lit up his whole face.
"Thank you for the kiss." You cutely poked your cheek with your finger, where his lips were. Then, heat rushed to your face at your own boldness.

I've bandaged your bruises
You've held back my hair
Who'd have known when this started
That we'd end up here?
But you reach out and touch me
Say my name like a prayer
All my friends say you're dangerous
But I don't fucking care

CHAPTER THREE
“Heavenly Bliss”
“What are you doing out so late Spinel.” Connie challenged
“I wouldn't call 5:45 in the afternoon last Connie. Seems like you've been somewhere, caring paper bags.” I smirked
“Well, Valentine, going grocery shopping after school is better than hanging with drug dealers.” Connie provoked
“Well I guess someone was doing more than shopping, I was helping a friend get a date.” I sassed
“Sure you were.” The whore snickered
I have to say, I alway hated passive aggressive bitches. I mean, if your going to be angry show it, instead of being a dick about it.
“Listen to me Spinel, I don't know what kind of stuff you're involved with the Black Hawks. But my father is the chief inspector of the local police agency, and I will have to report any unusual activity your involved in.” Connie warned
“And that's suppose to mean something, my mothers a lawyer.” I bragged
“Sigh, look Spinel. I don't want any trouble. I don't know why you hit me yesterday, but all I ask for. Is that you stay away from Steven, or you'll regret it. He doesn't need someone like you in his life.” Connie threaten
It's cute that she thinks she can scare me. It's you who will be sorry.
“Connie. You sound like Steven belongs to you, you do realize he has a life outside of you.” I smirked
Connie was about to say something, but then she gave be a defeated look. Looks like I won this battle, but haven't won the war just yet.
“Just, please don't go near him. You're not his friend.” Connie added, walking towards me.
Of course I'm not his friend, I'm his girlfriend, his babey, his sweetheart.
At the moment she walks by me, I pulled out my Italian stiletto and used it to tear the paper bag open. Causing the groceries to drop to the ground.
“Gasp, oopsie daisy.” I gibed, walking by Connie irritably picking up her groceries.
It brings me joy to see someone like her struggling. Now time to go home before my folks worry about me.
It's now sundown, I just arrived to my place. I hope my moms aren't worried.
I walked up to the entrance and was going to open the door, however I stopped. I was hearing muffled screaming inside the house, so I ease dropped to find out what they're talking about.
“This has gone on long enough mother, we can't keep denying the problem with Spinel!” Mother argued
“You watch you're tone with me young lady, Spinel is fine. How is her liking someone so awful.” Grandmother Whitney retaliated
“Liking someone, you mean this boy Steven. I got a call from the school that she punched a girl in the face.” Mother retorted
“How is that a problem, Spinel probably had a good reason to do so.” Grandmother Whitney denied
“She hit that girl, over a piece of cake. I was told by Dr.Maheswaran, that her daughter asked for a piece of cake Steven had, and then all of a sudden Spinel hits her trying to slap the cake out of her hand. Accidentally hitting her in the face, causing her to bite her lip.” Mother shot
There was a silent pause, until I heard Momma speaking.
“Whitney, this isn't normal behavior for a girl like Spinel. Ever since kindergarten she's been very violent towards kids her age. We can't keep hiding and ignoring on what she did to Spin-.”
SLAP
“Never, and I repeat never mentioned that women again.” Grandmother Whitney snapped
“Mother what is wrong with you, don't hit Bella again.” Mother raged
“Or what, you won't defend me in court. I had to teach her a lesson for disobeying me.” Grandmother Whitney threaten
“Bella's right Mother, somethings wrong with Spinel. Sigh, God we should have never given her that knife.” Mother muttered
“The reason why I gave that knife is because that's what she wants. She doesn't want makeup and all that girly crap you get her. I know my Granddaughter.” Grandmother Whitney stated
“You can know Spinel inside and out all you want Whitney , but you gave her a weapon. In the past we got calls that Spinel threaten students in elementary, once I got called into a meeting with the principal because Spinel got suspended for bitting a kid, in middle school. Now she's attacking girls out of jealousy. Sigh, Whitney. Spinel is sick. This can't continue, because if it does Spinel will get herself hurt or go to prison. So if you really care for her, you need to stop defending this toxic side of Spinel. She needs help-.” Momma screeched before being interrupted
Ding, dong
“Hey guys I'm back from the library.” I announced
“Come in starlight.” Grandmother Whitney answered
I opened the door and walked to the dining room. I saw my three care-givers sitting at the dinning table drinking tea. Although I noticed Momma had tears in her eyes, and having a red handprint on the left side of her face.
“How was school today Spinel.” Mother coaxed
“It was a wonderful day Mother, I had lots of fun with Perri today.” I clarified
“That's good sweet-pea, did you have dinner at the Fitzgerald home.” Momma faltered
“Yes Momma, don't worry about wittle old me.” I reassured
Although I wouldn't call a tray of onigiri dinner, even though I'm still a little hungry. But I can wait until tomorrow, I don't want momma to stress about me.
“Okay darling, please get ready for bed.” Grandmother Whitney asserted
“I'll see you guys tomorrow.”
Once I finished getting into my cute bun-bun themed pajamas, I walked to my futon going to bed. Saturday is going to be a big day for me, because that's the day Steven and I will be all alone. No Connie to interfere with us. I'll just have to ask him tomorrow at school.
Ring ring
Another day of school went by so fast, and Friday is the perfect day to ask out Steven. Because that bitch Connie has tennis practice on Fridays, that means Steven will be all alone without any interruptions.
In the distance I see the gullible hunk walking off school grounds. I have to catch up to him before it's to late. I raced like hell to catch up to him, trying to catch his attention.
“Steven!” I exulted
“Wha.”
Finally, I got his attention.
“Hey Steven, huff puff huff puff.” I listlessly
“Oh, Spinel. I didn't expect to see you. Are you okay, from Wednesday.” Steven Gasped
“Ya everything is just swell.” I said trying to ease his nerves
“Anyway, sorry to bother you. But would you like to hang out tomorrow. Like get a milkshake, do karaoke or something.” I hesitated
Please say yes, please say yes.
“Sure, why not.” Steven responded
Yes, yes, oh god yes. I feel my heart racing and I'm sweating like crazy. I honestly had my doubts.
I wanted to reply to his answer, but I was so happy I lost my sense of reality. I couldn't stop smiling and my cheeks were like two hot tomatoes. My heart has never been this happy before, it's going to explode.
“Ah, Spinel. Are you okay.” Steven guessed
Just him looking at me made me paralyzed with joy.
“Oh, oh Stevi your so cute. I just want to cuddle you and feed you cookies.” I mumbled
“Ahhhhhhhhhh, okay. Well, meet me at my place tomorrow at noon. Bye.”
And just like that, my man is gone. Tomorrow I need to look my best, also I need to ask a favor from my geeky bud.
“Congratulations on your date Spinel.” Perri cheered
“It hasn't started yet, but thanks. How was your date with Lexi.” I grinned
“Well, I wouldn't call it a date. At least the clan allows me to hang with her.” Perri hummed
“Does Brooklyn know.” I doubted
“Ah, not yet. She still doesn't want me around the Black Hawks. But I still want to see Lexi, I just want her out of the gang.” Perri worried
“Hey, don't worry. Things will turn out okay, Lex is a smart gal and she'll get out eventually.” I encouraged
“You're a great friend Spinel, how can I repay you for what you did.” Perri offered
“Well, I hate to ask but. Can you keep Connie away from Steven all day.” I begged
Please say yes, please say yes
“Your in luck friend, I'm working on a science assignment with Connie. I'll tell her to come to my house to work on the project.” Perri reassured
“Ah, thank God. I owe you big time.” I burst
“No need, that's what friends do.” Perri acknowledged
It's 30 minutes until noon. I have to make up an excuse to go out.
“Hey Momma.” I shouted from my room
“Yes dear.” Momma groggily
“I'm going to the karaoke club with some friends. I'll be back before sunset.” I lied
“Yawn, okay sweetie. Please be safe.” Momma sleepily
I didn't expect it to be that easy, now time to see senpai.
It's a good thing Steven lives less than five minutes away, I would hate to take the bus. But if I had to I would.
I finally arrived at Stevens house, or tiny home to be exact.
His house wasn't as fancy as mine, although it's a cute little home. But what do you expect when your dad is a Uber driver, and rarely gets the dough at one of his garage concerts.
Speak of the devil, I see Greg Universe. On a lawn chair outside his house, playing his guitar and drinking beer. Although I have to admit, even though Greg looks like a loser he's still a good father. Obviously Steven got that suave charm from him.
“Hello Mr.Universe.” I burst
“Oh, you must be Conn- Ah I mean Spinel. Stevens happy that you asked him to hang out. By the way, call me Greg.” Greg sputtered, sounding like he's one more bottle to being wasted.
“Is Steven almost ready.” I inquired
“Don't worry, he'll be out shorty.” Greg reassured, but still looks like he has more to say.
“You know. I'm actually glad that you asked Steven to hang.” Greg confessed
“Really.” I doubted
“Ya I am. Steven doesn't really hang out with other kids outside of school. Even since his mom passed away, he's been very antisocial. Sure he may be out going at school. But when he isn't at school, he just sits in his room. Or sometimes hangs out with his friend Connie.”
I hate the thought of that bitch being mentioned today.
“Steven may hang with a lot of kids, but they're not his friends. I hate to talk behind someone's back, but I feel like Connie and Steven spend to much time together. I'm not saying that they can't hang out, but Steven needs a variety of friends. Because if they don't stay friends Steven will have trouble finding new ones. Ha, I'm sorry I burden you with all of that. It's just my way of saying thanks, I hope Steven has lots of fun.” Greg rattled on
Wow, you think you know a guy. I really misjudged Greg, he must want Steven to have as many friends has he wants. I'm just glad that we're one the same page that Connie is bad for him. That's what happens when two loners become friends, they're obsessed with spending so much time with each other.
“I'm sorry about your wife Greg, she must be very lucky to have a kid like Steven.” I comforted
“Thank you Spinel, it really means a lot to me.”
“Hey dad, I'm going now-oh hey Spinel. It's good to see you.” Steven beamed
“Hey Schtu-ball, here's so cash to have fun with your lady friend.” Greg happily offered
“Dad, it's not like that.” Steven spluttered
“Loosen up Lil-man. I'm just messing with you.” Greg smiled
Then all of a sudden, Greg was whispering in his ear. I couldn't hear want they are talking about. But what caught me off guard was that Greg secretly slipped a condom in Stevens jacket.
Oh Lordy, Steven and I haven't even got to the batters box's yet. Already Greg gives him a condom on the first date, I guess it's better to be safe then sorry. Now Greg has my full respect now, thinking that Steven and I would get dirty. He really wants Steven to have more friends.
Although poor Steven, he must be so embarrassed that Greg is giving him condoms and advice on girls.
“Okay Dad, I heard enough. Come on Spinel let's go” Steven spluttered
“Okay okay, see you crazy kids later.” Greg joked
“Jesus Christ.” Steven mumbled
After Steven got the talk, we made our way onto the bus.
“So Spinel, What would you like to do.” Steven asked
“Well, lets go to that 50s style dinner. I heard they have to best burgers and milkshakes there.” I suggested
“You mean Krazy Kats, (chuckled) it's been so long since I've been there. After that lets go to the karaoke club.” Steven cheered
“Steven Universe, I didn't know you can sing.” I teased
“Well. I can't, the only song I can sing is twinkle twinkle little star.” Steven joked
“Well it doesn't hurt to try.”
“No, it doesn't.” Steven hoped
After a long drive, we finally arrived at Blossom valley Mall.
As the gentleman Steven is, he helped me off the bus. Such a chivalrous lad.
“We're here, so do you want to do first.” Steven advised
“Lets go to the karaoke club first.” I responded
“Cool, lets go.”
“Wait Steven.” I shouted
“Yes Spinel.” Steven smiled
“I, I need you to hold something for me.” I avowed
“Sure, I'll be happy to help.”
I took out my right hand and reached it out to Steven, palm up.
“My hand.” I cackled shyly
Steven looked at me for a little bit, trying to get a grip of the situation. Until he started to smile.
“(Giggling), your adorable Spinel. Of course I'll hold your hand.” Steven beamed while grapping onto my hand.
He. He called me adorable. Wow, he called me adorable, on our first date. Oh god, I feel like I'm having a heart attack because my heart can't stop beating. He's now holding my hand, his soft skin rubbing onto me. How a I going to make it the whole day without fainting.
We happily dashed to the karaoke club. Inside was just like the interior of the Double Deuce in the movie Road House. It was also very spectral, with smoke, flashing colored lights and giant speakers. It was like a rave in here. Steven and I quickly found a place to sit, now looking at which songs we're going to sing.
“Wow, there's a lot to choose from. What are you going to sing.” Steven asked
“(Giggling), that's a secret. You'll find out soon.” I teased
“Always full of secrets I see.”
Well you got one thing right.
“Okay, you can go first. I'll still need some time to choose.” Steven convinced
“Alright kiddo, I'll go first.” I joked
I walked up to the counter and asked for my song. They told me I was on in five minutes. I walked back to Steven to tell him.
“Hey Stevi, I'm on in five minutes.”
“Cool, I picked mr blue sky electric light orchestra.” Steven mentioned
“Interesting choice bud.”
“Alright everybody give him around of applause. (Laughing) okay folks it's time of our next performer, please welcome to the stage for Spinel.”
(Applause)
I skipped up to the stage, getting ready to sing. Although some people would need to read the lyrics on the screen, but I know this song off by heart.
The song began
I still hear your voice when you sleep next to me 🎶
I still feel your touch in my dreams 🎶
Forgive me my weakness, but I don't know why 🎶
Without you it's hard to survive 🎶
Here comes the chorus
'Cause every time we touch, I get this feeling 🎶
And every time we kiss I swear I could fly 🎶
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last 🎶
Need you by my side 🎶
'Cause every time we touch, I feel the static 🎶
And every time we kiss I reach for the sky 🎶
Can't you hear my heart beat so I can't let you go 🎶
Want you in my life 🎶
'
(Freestyle dancing)
Your arms are my castle, your heart is my sky 🎶
They wipe away tears that I cry 🎶
The good and the bad times we've been through them all 🎶
You make me rise when I fall 🎶
'Cause every time we touch, I get this feeling 🎶
And every time we kiss I swear I could fly 🎶
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last 🎶
Need you by my side 🎶
'Cause every time we touch, I feel the static 🎶
And every time we kiss I reach for the sky 🎶
Can't you hear my heart beat so I can't let you go 🎶
Want you in my life 🎶
(More freestyle dancing)
'Cause every time we touch, I get this feeling 🎶
And every time we kiss I swear I could fly 🎶
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last 🎶
Need you by my side 🎶
(Applause)
“Spinel that was amazing, your singing voice is beautiful.” Steven praised
“Your so sweet Stevi, it's now your turn to shine.” I encouraged
Now as expected, Steven sucked. But we had a good laugh about it. So far this was the best day of my life. This was true heavenly bliss.
Steven and I weren't really hungry, so we got takeout milkshakes from Krazy Kats. We then found a nice place to sit and catch. On a small green hill under a cherry three.
“How's your mint-chip, butterfingers, Reese's PB cups, Hershey's chocolate syrup with no cherry.”
“It's just delicious, how's your plain boring strawberry milkshake.” I joked
“Hey, it's just as good as yours.”
“(Giggling) I'm just messing with you, you look so cute when flustered.” I teased
“Okay now your just being silly.” Steven gushed
“Puff, (laughing).” Steven and I giggled
“Ha ha hah, Spinel this day was amazing. I'm having so much fun with you.” Steven cackled
This is an amazing day, I just want to relive this moment for the rest of my life. I never expected Steven to have fun with someone like me.
Wait, why's Steven frowning. Did I do something wrong. Fuck, I thought I did everything right.
“Spinel, I should have never given that cake you gave me to Connie. I thought I was doing something nice, but I didn't reconsider on how you'll feel. Although it wasn't right that you hit Connie. But, it was my fault that I blown out of proportion. I'm sorry Spinel.” Steven apologized, on the verge of tears.
“I can just act so stupid sometimes. I don't mean to do anything to hurt anyone, but I do it without knowing. I don't know why I'm like this. Ever since my mom was shanked in an ally by Black Hawk thugs, I just find was to mess up. Dads always stressed about paying the bills and taking care of me. He doesn't need that kind of stress I'm giving him. I'm just a burden. I'm a burden to my friends, my teachers and even my closest friend Connie. I just don't want to keep annoying people all the time, telling me to go away and play kid games. And them saying “your bitch mom got what she deserved”, one time I got a note I found in my locker, saying that it would be better for everyone if I just kill myself. (Sobbing). I feel like the whole world is against me, that everyone has some reason to attack me. Because I keep fucking up all the time. I'm just one. big. fuck up.(sobbing).” Steven bawled
Oh god, I had no idea Steven was in this much pain. It seems like on the outside that he's this layback happy guy. But no one notices that he's breaking and dying inside. Like me.
There was only one thing I can do, I wrapped my arms around him, giving him a tight hug.
“I'm sorry that you're feeling so bad, is this why you wanted to hang with me.”
“No!” Steven screamed
“No, no. I really wanted to spend time with you. I felt guilty for hurting you. But I still enjoyed today. (Sobbing).”
“It's okay daring, I'm not going anywhere. You're never a burden Steven Universe. I know things are stressful for you lately. But please don't consider it. I'll miss you, your dad will miss you, your friends and even your pets. You're important to a lot of us.”
“Lets just say this, you off yourself last year. That means you missed all those precious memories to this day. Your birthday, Christmas and even Halloween. All those events are gone, disappeared.”
“Remember last year. When I started the first year of high school. On Monday during lunchtime, I was waiting in-line to by the canteens fresh baked cookies. I was a limited time offer, only on Mondays. When I walked to the counter and asked for one of their cookies. They said “Sorry kid, we're sold out.” So I started to get upset. I wanted those cookies for so long and now there gone. But out of no where, you saw me. Out of the kindness of your heart you game me half of your homemade chocolate-chip cookie. Even though it wasn't as good as the canteens ones. It was still special that someone as kind as you, would share with me.”
“Don't you see goofball. Your actions have an impact on people's lives, a good impact. If you disappeared, that special moment would never happened. I know we don't know each other well, but I really care about you. Because you cared about me, and I would love to hang out more with you. Those last couple of hours were the best moments in my life so far.”
“(Sniffling) you really think so.”
“I know so Steven, you have a big heart and you care and love everyone. But you need to start loving yourself.”
Steven then wrapped his arms around my petite waist.
“Thank you Spinel, thank you so much.”
“I'll never leave you Steven. Never ever.”

PART 3
Later that night, Taehyung picked you up at 8 o'clock sharp, wearing casual clothing. You also wore a comfortable outfit, knowing you'd probably do a lot of walking. As you two exited your apartment building, the breezy night air hit you both in the face.
"Oh my god," you said, laughing, your hair blowing all sorts of ways.
"I'm sorry," Taehyung apologized. "I didn't know it'd be this cold. We can do this some other time if you'd like?" He looked sincerely apologetic, making you laugh again.
"It's fine, Tae. I want to go with you. Come on," you said, pulling his arm, "let's go wherever you want."
He smiled at you before swiftly catching a taxi on the side of the road. The car ride was pretty silent, both of you just mostly using your phones or occasionally talking about what kind of food you guys should eat afterwards.
Soon, you arrived at the destination. "Thank you!" Taehyung spoke to the driver before he pulled off. Once he did, Tae turned to you. "You ready?"
You shook your head, yes, as he lead the way and you followed. "Is this Han River?" you asked.
"Yes!" he exclaimed. "This is one of my favorite places in Seoul. A must visit, especially for foreigners. Wish I could call it my hideout spot but it's.... kinda everyone's hide out spot," he chuckled. "Aish, I don't know. I just find it really relaxing."
"Yeah, I understand," you nodded. "The sounds of the water can be therapeutic."
"Exactly."
You two walked a little more in silence before you realized something. Maybe this would be a little shot out for you to just straight up ask but you just had to know. "Wait, isn't this place really known for dates and stuff?"
For a second, he was silent, looking down at his feet as you both continued to walk. "It can be," he mumbled. "Why, would it be so bad if this were a date?"
You nervously laughed as your heart beat began to pick up just slightly. "Is this a date?" you questioned, lowkey scared to hear his answer at this point.
"I mean... Only if you want it to be, I guess."
"Do you want it to be?"
He looked up at you, grinning a little. "I'm going to be honest, yes."
Just then your eyes uncontrollably widened. You couldn't tell if he was joking or not, then again you knew deep down that he wasn't.
"It doesn't have to be," he reassured. "Just so you know."
Laughing, you replied, "No, I know. I do want it to be," you decided. Not only had he become your next best friend but he was loyal and sweet. And it didn't help that he was super cute. There was no way you could say no.
His infamous box smiled suddenly appeared, making you blush. "Does this mean I can hold your hand now?"
Taking your hand out of your jacket pocket, you chuckled, interlocking his fingers with yours. They were cold but you didn't mind. "Of course it does," you replied, giving him a smile right back. He laughed like a child and squeezed your hand. "Ouch," you joked. "Don't get too excited, it's just one date, sir."
"Sorry," he apologized, now trying to contain his excitement but failing. You giggled at his cuteness and continued to walk.
About an hour later, you found yourselves at a corner restaurant, gulping down rabokki. You were both hungry because neither of you ate all day so there was little to no conversation until you were both finished.
"Aaahhhh", Taehyung said after finishing his last slurp. "I feel refreshed now, how about you?"
"I do, too. Let's order some more Sprite though, then we can head out."
He nodded his head in agreement. "Okay."
"And I'm paying!" you declared.
Taehyung scrunched his eyebrows in confusion. "Huh?" he asked. "No, that wouldn't be fair, the date was my idea, I'm paying!"
Faking a cute pout, you sulked, "But you paid for my bus ride home that one time," you reminded him.
"Yah, stop trying to act cute, it doesn't work on me," he grinned, making you give him a playful rude look. "And that was weeks ago," he added. "My treat."
"But Taehyung--"
"Yah!" he warned.
"Ugh, fine." It wasn't worth fighting, you'll just let him do it. Though you must say, the gesture was cute, even though he was kinda right.
He then ordered some more Sprite and as you both waited, you noticed him staring at you with a small frown. You suddenly got concerned, wondering if he was okay. "What's wrong?" you asked, worried. He sighed and looked down. "Taehyung..."
"Nothing, I just feel bad for you," he spoke.
"For me? Why?"
"I'm sorry for the way Jimin and Jinsoul have been treating you, you deserve better."
"Oh," you said, coming to realization. Then you, too, started feeling bad for yourself. "It's okay. I've gotten used to it."
"But that doesn't make it right." He tilted his head slightly, still analyzing you. "They're ignoring you for no reason."
"It's not for no reason, they just moved on." You sighed, thinking about Jimin and how you and him never really got that close to begin with. "And Jimin was never even my friend anyway."
Taehyung started to look confused. "What do you mean? I think he saw you as a friend."
"Well... I’m pretty sure it was just through association. Because we had mutual friends," you explained.
"Yeah, I get what you're saying. But Jinsoul, at least. And Jacob."
You waved it off, softly rolling your eyes. "They're too caught up with themselves, it's okay. I get it."
His shoulders sunk. "I'll talk to them."
"Are you crazy?" you semi shouted, making some heads turn. "It'll only make things awkward, please don't." You would be too embarrassed.
"I just want things to go back to normal, y/n. Please."
You sighed, knowing that he wouldn't understand. You’re not like them and the other people at your school that wished to be a kpop idol or to be friends with one. At the end of the day, her aspirations are completely different from yours and that goes for all of them. Of course they're going to get along more with people who have the same viewpoints as them.
Just as you were about to reject again, your drinks were bought to the table. You thanked the waiter and sipped in silence, then was on your way out. "Lets catch the bus together," he suggested. You agreed and both hopped on the bus.
As he sat down next to you, you noticed a group of three girls staring. They were still in their school uniforms for some reason. They seemed to notice Taehyung and began to whisper amongst themselves. Taehyung remained oblivious.
"Yah," he said, turning to you as the bus started to pull off.
"Huh?" you asked, eyes still glued to the three friends.
"Why don't you speak your mind more often? I could tell you had something to say back there."
You slowly broke contact with the girls and looked at him. "I don't know what you mean." That was a lie and your tone showed it.
He scoffed, crossing his arms together. "Yeah, whatever." He sat fully back in the seat and turned his head away from you.
You then scuffled his hair as you chuckled, finding this action of his kind of cute. "Taehyungieeee, lighten up. I'm okay, okay?"
He lightly rolled his eyes, letting out a soft sigh. "Ugh, okay..." Then he turned his head to you and slowly smiled, making you smile back.
___
As you guys approached your apartment building, you lead the way to the entrance door before looking at your date. "Thank you so much for this, Taehyung."
"Thank you, too," he replied, beaming. "I had lots of fun. Promise me we'll do this again?"
You shook your head, promising. "I swear."
"Gimme your pinky." Laughing, you stuck out your pinky as you both swore on it.
"Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow, Tae. Goodnight." Just as you turned, you felt a hand pulling you back by your arm.
"Wait." He then pulled you into a soft hug. With your chin now on his shoulder, you closed your eyes and tightly hugged him back. He was such a good friend.
"Now," he said, releasing you. "Goodnight."
A/N: Aww how cute! Okay please stay tuned and find out what gets revealed next chapter! <3

Drake & Cal
-------------------------------------------------
Drake smiled looking over himself in the mirror. Baby blue shirt and black pants, his glasses had a small tint of black around the edges, complimenting his silver eyes. His green hair pushed to the side. He rocked on his feet a moment before picking up his bag, quickly heading down stairs. "Now, Dray, sit down and eat. And do take out the jewelry before your father gets here." Drake rolls his eyes grabbing a piece of toast. "Can't mom, I'll be late, and today I start my job so.... bye!" And with that Drake raced out the door. He sat at the bench and waited for the bus that would take him to his destination. He sighs pulling out his phone to scroll through tumblr.
A few minutes later the bus arrives, and Drake eagerly rushes in, scanning the seats before picking one beside his best friend. Their name was Bea, they had been best friends since they were kids, And knew everything about each other, so of course, they were the best choice. Bea still had their black hair, and dashing personality. "You ready?" Drake asked, Bea just now noticing his presence. "Whoa- Jesus- Don't do that!" Drake chuckles sliding his bag underneath his seat. "'Glowsticks- need I say more'?" Drake gestures to Bea's shirt. Bea looks up from their phone again. "Need I say more?" They slid their phone into their pocket. "So, what job do you think we'll get?" Drake smiles slightly bringing his right leg up to his chest. "I don't know, probably some fast food joint, it's what most teenagers get." They nod their head turning so that their back is against the window. "Yeah, probably.... but what if we get an exciting job? It's not unheard of!!" Drake rolls his eyes. "Your idea of exciting is the possibility of dying, but not dying. And while that's all good and all, I'd never hear the end of getting stuck with that kinda job." Bea punches his arm lightly. "It's not getting 'stuck' it's getting picked! You know the job picks you!!" Drake sighs. "You always did believe in that didn't you?" Bea leans forward, pointing in his general direction. "So did you," they leaned back laying their legs over Drake's. "And still do if I recall correctly." Drake drops his arms over Bea's legs, scoffing. "Yeah, don't remind me." A loud ding was heard throughout the bus, followed by the driver. "Its your driver, here, I advise you to get ready to exit the bus, uh, we are nearing our destination." Drake swatted at Bea's legs reaching down for his bag after they moved to get their own bag. "Well, I'm excited." Drake stands up setting his leg on the seat. "Yeah, well, I'm not." Bea rolls their eyes. "Alright grumpy pants, calm down." Drake scoffs as the bus comes to a halt. The doors slowly opened. "Alrighty, ladies, gents, and all you lovely people, we have reached our destination, please exit the bus, and watch your step!" Drake pushes off the chair and exits the bus, slowing his pace so Bea can catch up. In front of him was 'The Workplace Chooser', they couldn't choose a better name? It was huge. The glass windows reached the ceiling in the center of the building, the sides went on for a while, before they stopped and buses filled the next spots, getting ready to take the people to their new job. Bea nudged his shoulder, pulling their hair into a loose ponytail. "C'mon, slow poke." Drake picked up his pace, watching the fountains as they displayed the show of water. Bea ran up and held open the door, bowing when Drake got close enough. Drake walked into the building, taking in his surroundings. When you walk in there is a grand staircase, at either sides of the stairs there are purple plants. Many people were rushing by looking for their bus. Bea rolled their eyes dragging Drake up the stairs.
Drake groaned, not that anyone could hear his frustration, as the room was full to the brim with other teenagers. But he still let Bea drag him around. The room was divided into three sections, no apparent categories, and they all faced a big stage. Bea dragged him to the back row in the middle section. They both sat down watching the other teens closely. Soon enough the lights dimmed and the noise settled. A man in a suit walked up to the podium in the center of the stage. "Hello, future workers of good!!!! I know you are so excited for your jobs, correct?" Assorted cheers erupted through the crowds, and Drake slid further back into his chair. The man smiled, looking down seemingly at a peice of paper. "Alright, so this year we are going in groups of four, and we will start with the important jobs first." Drakes phone buzzed, sighing he sat up pulling out his phone. There was a new text. 'Has your brother been called yet?' Drake typed a quick 'no' before going back to listening to the speaker. "-t, and next is the helpers!!! We have just four of those in this year. Are you ready to see who these brave men, women, and people are?" More cheers erupted through the room, Bea being the loudest. Drake flinched, elbowing Bea lightly. "Alrighty! First up is, Seth Banks, Catlin Bea, Tiffany Grace," Bea nudged Drake grinning wickedly. "And Drake Brins! A round of applause for these great teens who have been chosen! Please find the bus outside your exit!"
Drake was shocked. So shocked he didn't notice being pulled out of the room. He snapped out of it shortly after being slapped a few times. A blonde girl was standing before him smiling sweetly, wearing a grey sweater, with shorts. "Hey there! You alright?" Drake looked around spotting Bea walking towards the group with their bags. Drake nodded and started to get up. The girl helped him to his feet. "I'm Tiffany, she/her pronouns!" Drake smiled. "Uh, Drake, he/him pronouns." Bea handed Drake his stuff before turning to the other person in the group, wearing a long sleeve shirt with jeans. Their hair was blood red. Bea looked at me before stepping closer to the individual. "That's Seth, he/him pronouns." Bea nodded, and Seth turned to us. "I'm fine, let's just go." It looked like Seth wiped his face before picking up his bags. "Okay, let's go!" Tiffany picked up her bag and walked with us. "So.... we are gonna be roommates?" Bea nodded excitedly. "Yeah! I know all about this job! Except you know the confidential things." Tiffany nodded, holding open the glass doors for us. I nodded, "Yeah, they were really hoping for this job." Bea nodded. "Ever since I knew it existed!!" We entered the bus and chose seats in the back. I pushed my bag under the seat as Seth sat down next to me, Bea and Tiffany a few rows up, on the other side of the bus. "Hey, Seth, how are you?" Seth chuckled a bit. "Like I said I'm fine, were you even listening?" I shrugged. "Yeah, but just making sure." Seth turned to me, scanning over my face before he gets closer to me. "You okay?" He asks laying his head on my shoulder. "Yeah, I guess." He scoffed dropping his bag on the floor. "Yeah, and I'm the queen of England!" "I just wasn't expecting this job, now, I've told you my problem, how about you?" He tensed as the bus started pulling out, and heading to their new work place. "Only if you want to of course," he nodded. "Yeah, thanks." He pulls out a pair of headphones and starts some music. "You wanna hear?" "Hm? Oh- yeah, sure." He hands out a ear bud, which I take and put in my ear, looking out the window as music played. "You have great taste in music." Seth nods crossing his arms. I lean on the window, watching the scenery. This is gonna be a long ride isn't it?
"Alrighty!! We have arrived at our destination!!! Congratulations, helpers!" Rolling my eyes I hand Seth back his earbud reaching for my bag. We all filed out of the bus as other buses did the same, the grand building standing in front of us, mainly secluded by miles and miles of  trees, and what seemed to be a beautiful mansion, a bit older for most peoples taste, but I loved it. The fountain in front of it was overgrown, and the fences looked like they had been placed way after the house was built. We walked up to the doors and waited. A different group stood beside me, there was a boy, angry looking, like he didnt wanna be here. I snapped my head back to the doors so he wouldnt know I was staring. All of the sudden he punched my shoulder lightly. "I'm Markus, what about you?" Clearing my throat I nervously turn towards Markus. "Uh Drake, I really hope no problems arise, it is our first day." The boy rolled his eyes, dropping his arm around my shoulders. "yeah, yeah, hey listen, we should stick together, I got your back you got mine. You look like the type to deal some damage when needed." I pushed him off me. "No, I dont know if I can trust you. And even so, you dont look like the type to keep to yourself for even a second." He scoffed. "Yeah, okay buddy. I bet." I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, I am the fifth precinct's leaders son. I'm no smart guy, but those clothes look like their fifth precinct. So watch yourself buddy." I scoff turning back to the doors as someone in a powdered suit walks out with a clipboard. "Hello helpers! Your ranks are posted in your quarters; Be wise my dear helpers, you have been chosen. Do not let us, or your precinct down. This is a great day for all of you." The lady looked at the clipboard for a moment before looking up. "Welcome to MCOU."

Treat You Better- Christopher Velez Imagine
Tumblr media
Before you read: This is for @cieloxcnco ‘s 1000+ follower contest : ) This is actually my first ever imagine, i was so excited when i saw the contest bcos i’ve been looking for a reason to start writing on here, anyway i hope you all enjoy!
Prompt: Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes “tell me why are we wasting time on all your wasted crying when you should be with me instead?”
Warnings: none:)
-
You attempted to belt the final note to your song, but instead bursted out laughing at the face Richard was pulling at you.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry i'll do it again!" You shouted up to one of the members out the crew, sending a glare to Richard and the boys, who were sat on the floor below the stage watching you soundcheck, or at least attempt to. This had been going on for the past half an hour, you trying to control your laughter while they try to make you laugh.
"Seriously stop guys, I'm not the main act here like you, I can actually get in trouble!" You gritted your teeth at them, a smile peeking out. You wanted to get this soundcheck over and done with before you lost your job. But you still found the boys hilarious.
"It's not our fault you can't contain your laughter y/n" Joel said, laughing his head off.
You stuck your tounge out at him, and gave the crew a thumbs up, indicating you were ready to sing again.
You started your song, closing your eyes to get through it, knowing if you made eye contact with any of the boys again you'd loose it.
You had been their support act for the last two weeks, and would be for the next two months touring the world. Right now, you were in Paris. You were a singer, but you knew you only got this oppurtunity due to having known Joel since you met in primary school. Plus, you had met the rest of the boys during the La Banda process, so you had got to know them quite well. Though living with them in a very small tour bus was very different than seeing them every so often. But you were loving every minute of it. The only problem was your constant worries about your boyfriend Ashton, who you had left back home. He wasn't supportive of you going on tour, but you couldn't pass up the oppurtunity.
As your choreography came to an end and you sang the last note, you opened your eyes to the five boys clapping and whistling at you. You noticed Chris staring at you, not clapping like the others but just staring. You shook it off and laughed at the boys reactions and then looked up to the tour crew expectantly, who gave you a thumbs up indicating your sound check set was finshed.
"Thank god thats over." You said, laughing as you walked down the steps to join the boys below the stage.
"That was really good y/n" Joel said, giving you a reassuring smile. You replied by giving him a side hug and sitting beside him.
"I still can't get over the fact that this arena will be full of people here for us tonight." Erick commented, looking around the venue.
"I know right. It's insane." Chris chirped back. You zoned out of the conversation as your phone started buzzing in your pocket. Pulling it out, you saw it was your best friend Lucia from back home and excused yourself to answer it, heading out of the arena into the corridor.
"Hey Lucia! Como estás?"
"Hola. Estoy bien pero you might not be. My friend was out last night and she ran into Ashton. She sent me this picture. I'm sending it to you now" She said with a low voice. Your stomach turned in fear, as you looked at your phone screen to see a picture of your boyfriend kissing a red head in a night club. Your heart sank.
"I'm so sorry y/n. Apparently this wasn't the first time she had seen them together."
"Gracias Lucia. I'll talk to you later, okay?" You chirped, holding in your emotions.
"Okay y/n. I love you." She said, ending the call.
You suddenly burst out into tears, leaning back against the wall behind you.
You almost knew this was going to happen after you left, but it didn't mean it hurt any less. You did love Ashton, and the pain in you heart showed this. You had known it was going to end soon but part of you just wanted to hold on to your relationship. But you couldn't anymore, not after this.
"Y/n?" Chris' voice startled you, as you frantically pushed the tears from your face.
"Qué pasó princesa?" He asked, running towards you, concern ridden in his voice.
"Its Ashton." You choked out, tears threatening to fall once again.
"What's he done?" Chris said sternly, anger clear in his voice.
Unable to speak, you showed him the picture on your phone. Chris' body completely tensed up for a second before relaxing to pull you into a soft embrace.
"I'm so sorry y/n." He whispered into your hair, holding you tight.
You pulled yourself away, taking a deep breath and attempting to pull yourself together.
"Its okay Chris, just don't worry about it. It's my own fault anyway. If I hadn't left, he wouldn't-" You started.
"No! Don't you dare blame yourself y/n." Chris interupted you and put both his hands on your shoulders, looking deeply into your eyes. "If he really loved you, he would have never done this. If he really loved you he would've supported you touring the world, living your dream. You deserve so much better."
A little bit taken aback by his words, you looked back at him with a small smile, visually thanking him.
"Venga. We are going on a trip to cheer you up." He declared, grabbing your hand and pulling you towards the exit of the arena.
"But what about the concert Chris?" You said, scoffing.
"We will be back in time, por supuesto. ¡Vamos!" He replied, pulling you out and into the street. Night was falling onto the streets of Paris, and the serenity of the city calmed you immediatley. You were so disapointed when you were told you wouldnt have time to explore the city, as the boys had spent a few days here on their last tour and had already seen it all, and there just wasn't even time to spare this time round. But it seemed Chris had a different plan.
"Are you ready to see the beautiful eifell tower?" He asked, a grin big enough for the both of you, as he hauled a taxi of the street and opened the door of it for you.
You nodded, completely taken aback by his plans but nevertheless climbing into the back of the taxi and pushing the thoughts of Ashton out of your head.
You watched out of the window as you drove through the city, the taxi's radio playing softly in the background. You were so glad to stop thinking about Ashton and start enjoying youself. You looked over to Chris and smiled to yourself, thinking about how happy you were to be actually spending time with him. Since the first time you met him, you had had strong feelings for him. He was just so beautiful, and so sweet. His natural flirtiness didn't help either. But you had always been with Ashton, so you pushed these thoughts away and ultimately just avoided Chris to stop anything from happening between you. But this had only ended up with you closer to all the other boys, and chris never really understanding why.
Your thoughts were interupted by the song playing on the radio being very familiar. You and Chris' eyes met and you both burst out laughing as the intro to Pretend started to play.
"I'll never get over things like this happening." Chris said laughing.
As Joel's intro finished, Chris joined in with the radio, singing along with his part.
"Me avisa' cuando tú quiera', haré como si no existiera' sigo aquí en tu lista de espera, yeahh" He sang, and you smiled at his incredible voice.
You joined in, singing Joel's part, "Yeah I gotta love but I'm involved, yeah I gotta choice so it's my fault, staring at a problem we can't solve" You both sang along to the song, forgetting the taxi driver was in the car at all. Chris even attempted to do the choreography in the small space you had, and you couldn't stop laughing at him. It surprised you both when the car abruptly stopped, and you looked out the window to see the tower a short walk away.
You both jumped out of the car, thanking the driver whilst laughing at your singing moment. Then you stopped in awe of the view of the eifell tower. It was stunning, with a golden glow contrasting the slowly darkening blue sky.
Chris took your hand in his and pulled you away from the tower, much to your dismay. You looked at him quizically.
"I have a plan, first stop is McDonalds." He stated, pulling you along.
"But, the-" You started before hearing your stomach rumble, "actually I'm starving."
"That's what I thought." Chris said, dragging you into the restaurant to one of the touch screen machines, ordering his food (enough to feed a village) and yours. As you went to collect your meals, one of the workers noticed Chris and blushed, whispering to her co-worker in French. You wondered if they knew who he was, or if they were just taken aback by his good looks. You knew you were when you first met. They gave you the food and as you left, your hand dived straight into the bag for some fries.
"Nooo, you need to wait." Chris said, taking the bag from you. You pouted, but smiled internally at how he had almost planned this trip, despite it being completely spontaneous.
"Where are we going Chris?" you questioned, noticing you weren't heading towards the tower.
"Espérate y ya verás" He mysteriously said, walking towards a row of old buildings, that still managed to look beautiful due to the tower's golden glow. He took you to the back of them and led you to a fire exit set of stairs.
You looked at him very confused.
"Venga y/n" He said, laughing at your face and grabbing your hand again, leading you up the stairs. His laugh was contagious, making you giggle to yourself, butterflies filling your stomach. All thoughts of Ashton and that girl left your mind, and you felt more at peace and more happy than you had since you first left for tour. As much as you were of course enjoying the tour so far, your worries about had Ashton clouded over you. And now, even though your worst nightmare had happened, somehow you felt better than ever, knowing he was out of your life for good. Maybe you needed this to happen.
You snapped out of your thoughts as you arrived at the top of five flights of stairs, as Chris lead you out onto a roof top, ridiculously close to the Eifel Tower. You gasped at the view, and your heart felt full. It was so mesmerising.
"Chris, this is amazing." You said, squeezing his hand which you hadn't yet let go off.
"Isn't it? We found this spot last year." He said, pulling you to the edge of the roof, to sit down. He let go of your hand to lay out the food, and you couldn't stop smiling. You knew that you would never forget this.
You both dug into your food, watching the people bustle around the tower on the ground as the sky slowly grew darker, and small stars began to appear above you.
"How are you feeling y/n?" Chris said with a concerned tone in his voice, clearly referring to Ashton.
"Honestly, better than ever Chris. Thankyou for this." You said, giving him a smile. He grinned back.
"I want to know more about you y/n. We've been touring for months together already yet I feel like I hardly know you." He said, turning his body to face you.
You grin at his proposition. "20 questions?"
"Yesss." He said, his smile never fading.
"You first." You chirped back
"Okay. Favourite food?"
"Hmm. Right now, these fries." You said, pointing to the bag into front of you and popping on in your mouth. "Favourite colour?"
"Red. Dogs or cats?"
"Dogs, always." You smiled, thinking of your dog at home.
"When's your birthday?"
"23rd September. What's your favourite song?"
"Easy. Bonita by CNCO." You winked. "Where was your favourite ever performance?"
"Definitely our first ever performance as CNCO, it was insane." He said, and you smiled at his face clearly remembering this. "When did you know you wanted to be a singer?"
"I think I've always known. I remember me and Joel used to talk about how we were both gonna be singers together when we grew up since we were like 6."
You carried on like this for a while, asking random questions and feeling happy to be learning more about Chris. You had definitely asked more than 20 questions. More than hour later, your head had ended up in his lap as he lent back, his arms holding him up as he played with your hair a little bit.
"Have you ever been in love?" You asked.
"Yeah." He gulped, looking out at the city. "What's your worst fear?"
"Losing my voice. It's my whole life." You admitted and took a deep breath to ask "What's your opinion on cheating?".
"I think If I loved someone enough to be with them, I'd never think about anyone else, let alone let myself get into the situation where I could ever kiss someone else other than who I'm with." He said, staring out at the view of the city.
You started to tear up, your thoughts returning to Ashton and your heart starting to hurt again. Chris looked down at you, and noticed your tears. Instead of prying, he just wiped your tears away. You looked up at him, your heart warming at his touch, as his hand cupped your cheek lightly.
"Why have you always avoided me y/n?" He asked, eyes pouring into yours. You were taken aback, you had never realised it was obvious enough for him to notice.
"I- I just couldn't let myself be in the situation where I could kiss someone else, I guess." You said, taking your words from what he had just said about cheating. He looked back at you a little confused. "I mean, I just kinda liked you from first meeting you, but I was with Ashton so, I guess I avoided you a bit, to stop myself from feeling that way.”
He looked slightly surprised, but happy with your response, as he suddenly moved his hand from your cheek to your neck and pulled you up towards his face in one swift movement, leaving your lips just centimetres apart. You could hear your heart pounding as he paused, looking for confirmation that this is what you wanted and as the cool wind blew between your close lips, you couldn't have been anymore sure. You pulled your arms up around his neck and let your lips connect. He immediately responded, moving his lips against yours. You moved slowly in sync, as you moved your leg across his body so you were straddling him. You both melted into the kiss, and you felt him pouring his every emotion into it. You let your hands move up his neck into his hair, running your hands through it. The kiss slowly grew more intense, but it was still sweet and full of adoration, you never wanted to stop.
You both pulled away eventually, breathing heavily with your foreheads connected.
"I would treat you so much better than he did y/n. You should be with me instead." He breathed out, looking so deep into your eyes, you felt like he could see into your soul.
You replied to this by leaning to kiss him again, smiling into the kiss. He kissed back sweetly, loving the feeling of your lips together.
"Will you be with me, amor?" He whispered, leaning away from your lips and down to your neck, where he began kissing you again.
"I need to speak to Ashton and tell him its over. Then me and you can start this, for real." You said, leaning your neck back giving him access to your sweet spot below your ear.
"Sounds. Amazing. Princesa." He spoke between kisses. A smile took over your face, before you suddenly realized how dark the sky had become.
"Chris. What time is it?" You asked, though you regretted it as soon as his lips left your neck.
He took his phone out of his pocket and cursed.
"Erm, it may be 5 minutes till your set starts." He said, gulping.

Somebody To Love (Part7-Tour Of America)
(Ben!Roger Taylor)

A/N: Again if there are mistakes I’ll fix them soon.
—————————————————
"ARE YOU TWO AWAKE YET?" Roger bangs on the door and you jump in Deakys arms. "Be right out!" John yells back and looks at me. "Who knew a few drink could lead to last night." He kisses my forehead and we get dressed. "Deaky, Nothing is going to be weird now right?" I grab his hand before he opens the door. "Of course not, we're still friends and it was only one night." I nod my head and kiss his cheek. "Good, I don't want what one drunk night to mess our friendship up."
Man were we both wrong though... We got together off and on while in Japan whenever we drank. Me and Deaky both knew we didn't serious like each other so we knew nothing bad would happen. Neither one of us told the other members about our nights together. It's been a few months since we got back and I was happy about how much Freddie spends time with Mary.
At the moment I was hanging out with Brian, Deaky, and they told me Roger was in his way over. "I'll get it." I unlock the door and let Roger and one of his new girls in. She eyes me before grabbing Roger's arm. "Hello to you too Roger." I say sarcastically closing the door since he didn't say shit walking in. "I'm sorry, Alice, Hello." He messes my hair up and I shove him away from. "Hello?" Brian picks up his phone and he freezes up. "Bri?" I ask walking up to him. "Yes, okay. Goodbye." He says quickly then hangs up.
"Bri-AN!" I scream as he picks me up jumping up and down. "WE GOING ON TOUR IN AMERICA!" He shouts jumping in a circle now. "WHAT!" I scream wrapping my legs around his waist and hug him. "NO WAY!" Roger and Deaky yell high fiving. "He tried calling Freddie but no answer so I'm going to try him." Brian's says walking back over to the phone still holding me. "Not answering, lets go tell him." Brian grabs his keys and we all rush out the door.
When we get to Freddie's and Mary's, Roger just opens the door without knocking. "Your phones off the hook. This is Crystal." He points at the girl, "Cheryl! Where's your loo?" She corrects him then asks Mary. I realize we interrupted the both of them when I saw she was hiding herself with the blanket. "Oh, come on in. Make yourselves at home. Don't mind us." Freddie says and I sit down with Deaky and Bri. "I'm sorry, for them barging in." I smile at Mary and Freddie. "Hello Mary. How's your dad?" Brian asks her and she's says he's well.
Tumblr media
"What's going on Brian?" Freddie asks. "Well if you'd answered your phone, you'd know already." Brian's say pointing at the phone. "This really isn't a good time, guys." Freddie says and I felt bad for what they did. Brian looks at me then speaks up. "John Reid called today. He has a little tour in mind for us." He He makes a face and me and Deaky slightly laugh. "It's not little, Brian. He's booked us a tour of America." Roger tells Freddie and his face lights up. "Our album's hit the charts in the U.S.!" He smiles at him. "Oh, Yes. Yes! Yes!" He gets up and they all group hug while me and Mary watch them. "Come here, Alice." Freddie pulls me up into the hug too. "Get ready for lost of clothes to pick out." He says and we all laugh.
Tumblr media
"Let's go celebrate!" Freddie suggested and the boys agree. "You boys go ahead. I wanted to hangout with Mary." I smile at her and they tell me it's okay. "Now, why don't you boys leave so Mary here can go change?" I point at the door and the nod their heads. "Sorry, Mary." They apologize to her and before Brain walks out the door he pulls me into a hug. "Thank you for still being here." He holds my face on his hands. "Of course Bri, I would never leave you or the boys side. I love all of you and I'm proud." I smile looking up at him and he kisses me. "I'll drop your car off before we get too drunk." He smiles and shuts the door leaving.
Brian just kissed me on the lips... What the... "Did I just see Brian kiss you?" Mary rushes over to me dressed now. "Umm-," I stop when Freddie comes out, "You girls have fun together." He kisses Mary then kiss my cheek. "Wait, Roger's girl is still in the loo!" I shout at him as he was about leave and just in Time she comes out. "He's outside." I tell her and she leaves me and Mary by ourselves. "The kiss!" Mary tugs on my arm. "Yes, you saw right. I didn't even see that coming. But enough about me... This is new!" I pick up her hand looking at the ring. "That's what we walked in on!!!" I squeal clapping my hands.
"When did you see it?" She asks looking at it. "The moment I sat down with the two boys. Congratulations Mary!" I hug her. "Thank you, and I guess a little congrats on your kiss." She nudges my shoulder. "I don't know?" I lean back into the sofa. "Do you like Brian?" She turns to me. "Well I know when I was growing up I did. Maybe a little part of me still does?" I look at her and she was smiling like crazy.
~
"You're coming too?" Paul asks as I get out of the car with the boys. "Of course she is." Brian holds my hand pulling me into his side. "Whatever." He says walking away and I cruse under my breath as he does. "Just do what you do best, ignore him." Brain kisses the top of my head and gets his and my bag out. "Brian... Can I ask you something?" I ask taking my bag from him. "What is it?" He turns and looks down at me. "At Fred's... Why did you-," Before I could finish Roger starts to talk to Brian. "My bloody seat mate on the plane is Paul." He squeezes himself between me and Brian. "Sucks for you, mine is Alice." Brian looks around Roger smiling at me. "Can we switch?" Roger smiles at him and Brian shakes his head.
The entire plane ride me and Brain didn't talk to one another at all. Once again Paul didn't get me a hotel room for tonight, and Brain this time offered to share with me. "I'm not even taking a shower tonight, it's too late and I'm tired." I say grabbing clothes walking to the bathroom to change and once I was done I got in bed. "Not going to tell me goodnight then?" Brian asks getting in bed next to me. "Goodnight." I say closing my eyes.
Before I knew it we were already done with two shows, we all were in the bus heading to the next show. Roger was in the back with two girls on each arm, Deaky was asleep and so was another girl across from him, a few guys were drinking, then there was Freddie and Brian playing scramble while I watched. "Alice, why don't you help me out?" Brian places his hand in my thigh rubbing it. I sit up and look at his letters, "There you go, Razzmatazzes." I said not wanting play with them. "Darling, you never help me." Fred said pointing to his letters and I get up to sit next to him. "Blackjacking" I said moving the letters around. "Now can I take a bloody nap?" I ask the two of them. "Come here lovie." Brian opens his arms so I could lay on him. "You two have fun playing." I say before closing my eyes falling asleep.
"I heard you kissed our darling Alice before we came on tour. I heard Mary ask her in my living room before heading out with you lads." I hear Fred's voice and I keep my eyes shut to ease drop. "That's right, I did." He admits to Freddie. "Mind telling why you did?" Fred asks and I was wanting to know why too. "Because I've always liked her growing up around her, even though she was a little younger than me. I just felt like it was the right moment with such great news." Brian says and he runs he's fingers through my hair. "Then give it a shot. It won't mess up your friendship if it doesn't last long because you two are close like family too." Fred says and Brain kisses the top of my head, "I'll think about it."
I wait to wake up for a few more minutes till I feel the bus come to a stop. "Restroom break." The driver yells and I fake waking up. "Sleep well?" Brian asks me and I nod my head. I get off the bus and me and the other girls go to the restroom. "Alice is your name right?" One of the ones that was on Roger asks me. "Yes, That's my name." I smile at her washing my hands. "How exactly are you with the band? I mean you're not very pretty." She smiles at me and the other one adds, "You're a bit on the heavy side as well..." She eyes me up and down and I just leave.
Once I was out the door I broke down in tears. I haven't been made fun of in years and it's starting again. "Alice, are you crying?" Roger asks putting his hand on my shoulder and I quickly move it. "Don't talk to me Roger." I walk away from him and run into Brians arms. "What's wrong?" He asks rubbing my back. "I hate being ugly and fat." I cry into his chest. "What? Where is this coming from?" He makes me look up at him. "Roger's girls. One said how am I even with the band if I'm not very pretty, and the other added that I'm also a bit on the heavy side," I tell him and he drags me over to Roger.
"Do you know why she's like this?" Brian slightly yells at him. "No, I tried asking her but she told me not to talk to her." Roger looks at me confused. "Your groupies made fun of her. Said how is Alice even with us when she's not very pretty, and a bit on the heavy side too." I could tell Brain was furious at the moment. "Brain, just leave Roger out of this." I hold onto his arm. "No, it's his fault because he brings them with us." Brian carful revives his arms grabbing Roger. "BRIAN!" I scream and the other two boys come running over.
"What's going on?" Fred asks as Brian had Roger up against the wall. "Roger's girls are make fun of Alice making her cry." Brian pushes Roger harder against the wall. "Brain, Stop! You're going to hurt him!" I yell hits his arm to put him down. "Bri, Roger didn't know that they would say those things. Please, just put him down. Put him down for me." I stop hitting him to talk to him. He looks at me the let's go of Roger to hug me. "Just go sit on the bus." I hold his face in my hands, "I'll be right there." I nod my head and he listens to me and Fred and Deaky go to leaving me with Roger.
"Roggie!" Both of his girls come out of the bathroom. "We'll be waiting on the bus." I tell Roger before getting in the bus and lay into Brian. After a few minutes pass Roger comes back in the bus, alone without his two groupies. "That's all of us." He yells the drive walking back to the back of the bus and we take off. "I'll be right back." I tell Brian and walk over to Roger, "Where are your girls?" I ask sitting next to him. "Told them to piss off. That you don't mess with our dear Alice. That you are one of my best friends and family to me and the band. Alice, I'm not going to let anyone talk to you like. You're not very pretty... You are very beautiful young woman, who is not very heavy but just right for herself." He takes a hold of my hand and squeezes it. "Oh give me a hug you idiot! And thank you." I hug him tightly.
