Although my favorite friendship in the Grishaverse will always be Kaz and Jesper (because I am weak for the brotherly dynamic and Jordie/Jesper parallels) I do have to give the friendship dynamic between Inej and Jesper a raise.

I have seen loads of media portraying friendship between a male and female character, but none of the others came close to Inej and Jesper level greatness.

Why?

Well, first and foremost, Inej and Jesper were the first male and female friendship I've encountered in which the two of them never get romanticized in the Canon universe and very rarely within the Grishaverse fandom. THANK GOD FOR THIS!!! Seriously, y'all don't gotta romantic-up every single dynamic you read or see. Inej and Jesper are obviously very close. The blatantly love each other, make each other happy, take care and look out for one another, and even kiss one another on the cheek and forehead. But you know what's amazing?

IT'S COMPLETELY PLATONIC AND THAT IS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I adore seeing that dynamic and even more adore seeing how little they are shipped. Thankfully, most of you understand the beauty of their friendship and brother/sister relationship and just know you can't ruin that by making them romantic.

unfortunately the last few days have been very busy, full of hassles... so I haven't been very active in my work... (sorry about David) but I have recovered the work I should have done yesterday on Jesper and Nina🤩🤩🤩 today I I'll make it up to you with a crossover that's interesting to me 🤣

Sometimes I stay awake and think about the time when I was reading six of crows/crooked kingdom (also the time when I hadn't read a single lgbt novel) and had somehow managed to heavily delude myself into thinking that wylan and Jesper shared a deep 'brotherhood' bond.

I had a dream last night that Shadow and Bone cast was doing meet and greet out in the middle of the street in front of the building where I live. The street was closed of course and there were tents set up and stuff. Patrick Gibson was holding a protest sign for some reason. I couldn't see what it read from my window.

I hastily put on a red shirt and while I was putting shoes on I saw that they were already leaving. The girls had already left. (I was more excited to meet them 😭) Ben Barnes and Patrick Gibson were trying to get Archie Renaux to get into a car, but he was too busy splashing in puddles. I jumped out of the window to get to them in time. (It was a dream, so...I mean, if it was real I might've risked it if I lived on second floor.)

When I got to them Patrick Gibson was putting Archie Renaux in a car. I ran up to Ben Barnes and asked for a picture. We took a selfie but I was so nervous it came out awful. I apologized and he just laughed and we took another selfie. It came out alright this time. They acted exactly like they did in the interviews except Archie who acted a bit like Mal. Or maybe not like Mal but he really liked splashing in puddles and getting mud all over himself. Then he took his shirt off. Patrick was getting exasperated.

May this dream be a prophecy.
