okay y'all this summer i'll make a youtube channel with a series where i just play videogames while high and try to talk abt deep feminist/activist topics and somehow make sense. it'll probably be a mess but a fun mess :3 i also want a series on that channel where i do feminist & sapphic media analysis, mostly of anime and old school cartoons bc i feel like there's way less media analysis vids abt animated media than abt other kinds of tv/movies! i want to make them about older kinds of animated media and compare it thru feminist lenses with animated media made these days!! i'm just very curious to see how they compare by delving deep into them. and i mean... it's an excuse to binge cartoons :P i also want to do it anonymously so i can get a little bit radfem without fearing abt my safety yay /s. i'll start off with just a series of clips of the shows i'm talking about in my vids but eventually i want to commission a little drawing of smtg that'll represents me with different expressions/reactions and use it on my channel hehe. i also want to put vids of my bunnies every now and then! and eventually some let's plays too. I'M SO EXCITEDDDDD
I'M SORRY TO BE CRINGE BUT BEING A YOUTUBER IS MY DREAM

Dose Roy or Maxwell have any siblings?
Indeed they both do!
Roy has his twin sister, Rose. I elaborated on their relationship a little in this post before: they're best friends :Dc
Coincidentally, Maxwell also has a twin, Patrick. He inherited the confidence when they were splitting personality traits, and is the aspiring musician to Maxwell's aspiring writer. He is never seen without his hat on - one time Max got a hold of it to wash it, which normally wouldn't be a problem but the thing was a good decade old at that point and it got a little tattered. Neither of them were happy that day. Max even contemplated asking Roy to hide him from the shame at one point.
There's also Trevor, who's a couple years younger than the twins, and still in his edgy phase. He doesn't leave his room often (at least until he gets his first car). We love him nonetheless.

AH I REMEMBERED WHAT I WAS GONNA SAY EARLIER but it's kind of stupid, lmao.
So my partner is getting into brewing beer and I got them a Tilt, which is a Bluetooth hydrometer. It measures specific gravity and temperature, which are things you want to know so that you don't kill your yeast or whatever. Except the sensor's Bluetooth range is super short, and it basically runs via a phone app, and the temperature we're logging currently is the crawlspace, accessible via the staircase closet. So they were like, wait, what do we do about this, because I can't leave my phone in the closet, that's my alarm clock.
In a kind of ridiculous turn of life imitating art, I was like, hold up, I got just the thing right at my desk. Bam. Old phone. We just needed to scrounge up a charger because the battery is so dead that after charging just enough to power on it claimed it was at 53% (to be fair to it, there is a very real chance that it's correct, and it just holds no charge at this point so the capacity is just THAT low) and now it lives in the closet logging sensor data.
And I was like, you know...didn't I just solve a major story detail with a much larger version of this...yeah, no, this is all vaguely familiar somehow, power supply issues and all. Kind of cool that the concept works though. Kind of weird that it came up at all?
We are not gonna talk about the fact that I still have at least two more ancient-ass phones in a drawer where that came from because look, man, sometimes you just need a camera/mic/mini computer with Bluetooth and wifi that fits in a pocket, and people just get rid of these things, but not me. I actually could build a shitty security system out of them if I was reaaaally inclined. I mean. I'm not. But it's technically possible.
For real though, If I pick up any stupid maker projects I still high-key am thinking about slapping Bluetooth into a necomimi headset and running that through an Arduino and learning to code just enough to let me skip songs/change the volume on Spotify with my brain, because it's entirely doable, and I mean yeah I could do that on my phone remotely too, but that's not funny, now, is it. I'm just not sure it's $350+ of parts funny. Kind of a big investment just to prove the point that haha look I am the extremely ADHD type of lazy where I would rather solve a problem via the most convoluted and complicated Rube-Goldberg type ass machine way possible rather than just perform a single simple action.
YEAH I'VE BEEN THIS SCATTERED ALL DAY AND I REALLY SHOULD GO TO BED SHOULDN'T I. I started playing Satisfactory. Mistakes were made. I'm going to dream about conveyor belts again and I did it to myself...

Thanks for your response! Having builds already made is a smart idea.
From the traditional rules, I don’t particularly like or strive for legacy gameplay or waiting for lots to be unlocked until after so much gameplay has happened. In my mind it makes more sense that a lot is unlocked to facilitate gameplay. For example: needing an art center or gallery or museum to open the Artist career. Whereas the traditional rules have it the other way around. I think because there’s so much I haven’t played with in the game yet and I don’t like sims staying home to do everything so in order to explore gameplay (skills and careers and activities), they need to have community lots to do them on. Idk if this makes sense haha but yeah I am trying to rethink the rules because I would rather have more community lots than households in my game and typically BACC rules and variations I’ve seen focusing on adding more households
Definitely get where you're coming from, anon! The beginning is super grind-y, and there's almost no reason to ever really leave your lot unless you're super intentional about getting creative with it—which, speaking from experience, only extends the duration of the grind!
(And honestly, while we're on the subject of bending BACC rules... Controversial take, but if you're starting in a neighborhood or world with streets and stoplights and shell houses and things imo it doesn't make sense to have to start anything off-grid in TS4... 🤷🏼♀️ Use max handiness to unlock building additions or new lots or something instead, idk! But I digress.)
One thing it took me way too long to realize (because it isn't in the spreadsheet for some reason) is that the Community Space lot type is unlocked by default when you start the challenge. So if you mostly want to stick to the rules but want to jump in with more spaces available right away for your sims to use for skill-building, you could set up a Community Space (or more?) and just have your sims vote to make them a Maker Space for handiness and painting, Community Garden for gardening, etc. I don't think you'd be gaining any unfair advantage doing it this way, and if it helps you for storytelling or immersion purposes... Why not? 😌 That Community Space building could even be renovated the Arts Center or whatever when you get to the point of unlocking that.

I decided I'm taking the L and applying for the car part assembly place that my former neighbor works at cause A) she can vouch for me which increases my chances of actually getting it, B) all the places I actually wanted to work at either aren't hiring or never got back to me but this place is always hiring, and C) it's full-time and pays $17.75 an hour and I've looked at the rent prices for nearby apartments and calculated that with that pay I should be able to move out in about a year give or take so even though I won't enjoy it it'll be worth it in the long run.

I know Im not really like inspiration for gay kids material yet because of my general vibes and attitude but I think I should still be let on to the local gay adult talks to kids because when I was a teenager those always made me wanna fucking die because inevitably right when I was feeling like things might be ok the person talking would mention their supportive loving parents. Let me stumble onto the stage and tell the gay kids its ok my dad hates me too still and Im still alive
