Seeing Adult Collector I'm guessing it's been billions of years...how did he handle the loss of his friends?? Does he have keepsakes?
it depends on how did they lose the freinds, especailly King as they would be around them the longest. I'm pretty sure they would keep trinkets and keepsakes from the time they were around isles with all the people/ creatures they got attached to, with time possibly not really remembering the person the trinket was reminding them of.
I got bit into possible timelines in this ask and whenever they lost King in a violent matter of from old age, would influence how they deal with their loss. Can imagine they would get in habit to talking to him in their thoughts and ocasionally conjure illusions before they start to be more a reminder of him being gone than his presence. Their memory serving as motivation for preserving life in other places and trying to prevent anything like this happening again
a bit expanded and line version

Could you write something about how Luz and Lilith get stuck in the Edwardian era, and Luz becomes a daughter like figure to Philip?
Deadwardian Era Dad
Summary: In the process of setting up a time pool, Luz and Lilith lend a hand to Beardo Philip.
Enjoy!
Thank you, @talisman975, for the help!
Beardo Philip began tracing a large concentric circle in the wet sand on the beach's berm with a stick.
Upon doing so, Luz and Lilith (Aunt Dirtrude) stood behind him, holding the ingredients needed to open a time pool. While watching, they also kept vigilance.
Luz especially watched Philip draw in the sand with a sparkle of youthful admiration in her eyes.
'Eeee, he's so cool!' she squealed in utter delight in her mind.
The sharp and spirited human she saw portrayed in his diary was a person she truly identified with.
After the circle was completed, Philip crouched down in the sand and extended his flat hand out.
He motioned for something to be given to him.
"Magic algae?" he gently requested, and Lilith handed over the protist slathered in Titan's blood.
Philip set it on the circumference section of the circle.
He then asked, "Wrinkling oak bark?" Luz happily placed the piece of tree bark in Philip's palm.
He placed it alongside the algae and requested two more crucial ingredients. "Barnacle crusted clam? Seaweed? Ammonite?"
He was like a modern father asking his children to pass him specific tools while he worked on a project.
Once the items were properly placed in the perimeter of the circle, Philip raised his gloved hand and promptly shoved it into the sand.
Genuine shock and a sprinkle of disappointment grew on his features as his hand failed to sink into a time passage.
"I-I don't understand," he said incredulously, standing up. "We collected all the ingredients that were needed. Could it be that we're missing some? Perhaps more?"
Philip was unsure if that was the case or not.
"I think I know what we're missing," Luz giggled as she reached behind her back and retrieved a light glyph.
Philip let out a small gasp, blue eyes glowing with realization. "A picto-glyph!" he quietly exclaimed.
How could he have forgotten to include that in his notes?
Luz nodded with a smile. "That's right," she said, setting the glyph down in the center.
A soft glow was generated by the magic in the sandy circle before it expanded into a tiny bubble of shining light.
Poking her head into the sand, Luz's eyes lit up in sheer delight when she saw the same beach that she and Lilith were at before going back in time.
After pulling her head from the pool, she starts to share her discovery, with joy radiating in her voice.
"The time pool! It's working!"
She hadn't been this proud since the first time she drew a successful light glyph.
Lilith gasped. "It is?!"
Philip gently ruffled Luz's hair as if he were a proud father doing it to his child.
"Splendid job, Luzura!" he complimented her with a chuckle.
"Thanks!" Luz laughed, giving the bearded man a gentle hug.
After Lilith approaches the time pool, she and Luz are ready to return to their correct era.
As she looked back at Philip, Luz offered out her hand to him with a gentle smile. "You coming?" she asked.
The expression on Philip's face was like that of a surprised cat as he looked down at Luz's hand.
He shakes his head. "Oh, no. I wouldn't fit in."
"So?" Luz said with a soft laugh. "I don't really fit in either. Not fitting in with someone else is better than not fitting in on your own."
Philip went back to gazing at Luz's hand once more, still hesitant to take it, but when he slowly did, he felt a small smile flicker on his face and tears welling up in his eyes.
