A big Happy Birthday to Plumb Bob Keep! 13 years strong, The Last Bastion continues to have a close-knit community, lively discourse, and quality downloads. So let's celebrate with gifts!

From now until the end of April, we encourage folks to post their creations as presents to their fellow Keepers. Of course, it's not necessary, and there is space in this thread for well-wishers of all sorts, too.

If you do choose to add a download to the celebration, post a teaser pic and maybe some text in this thread, and link it to the regular download location, please. Thanks!

So, about the PBK

Lemme just say, before I'm heading to bed: None of the people involved in the moderation of the Keep in any shape or form are even remotely planning to give up just like that.

A lot of things are still uncertain, but just know: we want to keep going. We're not sure what the future is going to bring, but rest assured, we are thinking about what our plans are. We historical simmers are not going down easily.

Just keep in mind that we all got our own personal lives and stuff going on. So keep calm, have patience, and help us check off the sections in the spreadsheet. If you have good backups, particularly of full sections, let us know.

My new speedbuild is Studio Ghibli themed! :) I tried my best to pay homage to the films of Hayao Miyazaki, making my own version of the ferry from Spirited Away and combining it with the sweet vibe of Totoro by making a little family that runs the ferry as a houseboat hotel! At the end I made a little machinima tour of the build where I tried my best to imitate a Ghibli vibe in the sims 2! I would love if you would give it a watch and let me know what you think! You can download the lot and also I made a pinterest board with all the CC from the video, its in the video description and under the cut!

download the lot, residential, cleaned with Chris Hatch's lot compressor. Originally I didn't include the hanging butcher meat stuff but since I had to go back and fix the lot cuz I forgot to include the omsp's I included the meat (also because they are from plumbbobkeep and it just went down the other day!) download! So while this has been defaulted before by the wondeful Citizencat over at PlumbbobKeep, it didn’t quite fit my game style. It had been defaulted using an older method which couldn’t be recategorized in SimPe (No property sets) and it had a hidden work outfit. Since I use a mod that stops Sims from changing into work uniforms, it greatly annoys me when there is a hidden outfit I can’t access without cheats. So several hours later after diving into the files of SimPE, this expansion is born.

Just like the original default, it has been replaced with Andavri's Princess dress. I have also replaced the YF_Tracksuit and enabled them for AF/EF and unhidden the black tracksuit for TF/AF/EF. I also found another hidden tracksuit for AF/EF and defaulted it as well. They have a 1024x1024 , 2.3K polys and is enabled for Everyday, Formal and Gym.

If you want to keep Citizencat’s orignal download, I have the YF default available. Otherwise I combined them all into the UF default. Use only one.

Another person was looking for Wawayaya´s downloads at @sims2packrat.

Wawayaya sadly passed away last year. He was mostly active on the Plumbbobkeep. You need an account to download stuff there.

Edit: I just realized that Wawayaya and Wawa are two different persons. Wawayaya is hopefully still alive and well.

He also posted on The Medieval Smithy.

Some stuff has apparently been shared on SFS here.

SFS is down for me, so I could not check. You can search on the Plumbbobkeep´s forums for „Wawa“ to see his downloads.

He was a kind and gentle soul, and a wonderful creator for the Sims 2. I am still sad he passed away.

Plumb Bob Keep Birthday Screenshot Contest

As part of the birthday festivities, we're having a screenshot contest! Our main page slideshow is both beautiful, and dated. We would like some new images to add to it, and that's where you come in. Put together your best screenshots of any sort of Plumb Bob Keep downloads, and then the community will vote for their top five!

Up to three entries per person

Multiple entries by the same person can be declared winners

Submit to rugrat0ne via PBK DM by April 15th, 11:59 ET

Must be in an aspect ratio of 5:3 (Actual size is 400px x 240px, so check how yours looks)

Must feature at least one item of PBK content conspicuously

May or may not include one or many Sims

Does not need to have any sort of birthday theme

Must be able to tell it is a screenshot of the game: no AI, fake backgrounds, etc.

Light editing with graphics programs, and use of shaders like Reshade are allowed

In-game lighting mods are allowed as well

The council will decide on any editing questions

Winners will be picked by popular vote starting April 16th and running until the 30th

Winning entries will be announced on May 5th

So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start styling those scenes. We want to see your very best efforts to show off what Keepers can do! Questions? Ask one of the mods or in this thread. Be sure to submit your entries to rugrat0ne at the Keep (don't post them here) by April 15th.
