I rolled the dice and I will be moving 4 couples to my town, because it's getting too interrelated already. The other option I was considering was to have an almhouse or just adding in townies.

The next round I will be focusing on the new families, as I need at least 1 child to be produced by each of them, to be married into my original families.

I rolled for their aspirations, but for personalities I looked into what star signs I had in my town to avoid the ones I had the most of.

I also made all of them have dominant genes - black or brown hair, and brown or dark blue eyes. It's because I made all my previous sims have recessive genes, and now I want all the genes to combine.

Meet the Yus: Soji and Shime. Soji turned out to be a Family sim (Virgo), and his wife Shime is a Fortune sim (Sagittarius).

Meet the Laos: Haru and Mazu. Haru is a Fortune sim (Leo) and his wife Mazu is a Popularity sim (Gemini).

Meet the Siews: Yutaka and Saku. Yutaka was rolled to be a Fortune Taurus, and Saku - a Romance Scorpio.

And finally meet the Tians: Hiroki and Fumi. Hiroki is a Popularity Capricorn and Fumi is a Family Aries.

These sims are meant to be very vaguely Asian-inspired. And I know it doesn't make much sense that my sims would meet them, but I would like to see my sims merge with these sims in 'ancient' times that are to come soon.

I might play them more MCC-style. I would like them to grow rice, tea etc. and also play instruments and fish, maybe do flower arrangements. A lot of the sims were rolled to be Fortune sims, so I feel like they would aspire to be merchants.

This post might be my 100th on this simblr (or very close to it)! I'm also nearing my 2-year anniversary.

@pooklet has their own tag on this blog. Why? Because they're literally the only reason I ever started using CC and creating my own Sims.

Back in the ye old days of GOS (2011-2012) when I was just a high school dweeb, I discovered Pooklet's CC and Sims and my (very) closeted self was so happy to see gay characters that were just... happy. Nobody beat them up, nobody pointed and called them slurs like they did me, they were just happy little Sims living happy little lives.

As corny as it sounds, I would still be a mothball (in the closet) if it weren't for GOS and Pooklet- so thanks for that. ^_^

Master Post: The Witching Hour v2 Hair Recolors

I went looking for a default replacement/color palette to use on all the hairs, and fell in love with The Witching Hour by @pyxiidis. Inspired by @bioniczombie 's amazing spreadsheet for their hair recolors, I decided to make one of my own for all the recolors I was missing, as I'm terrible about taking screenshots and making posts. (Links below the cut)

As the picture shows, all the hairs are in the 24 Maxis colors and 16 extras. I also added 5 @pooklet swatches at the end (pastel colors from the 2020 revamp that I wanted), for a grand total of 45 swatches for each hair.

So far, I've uploaded 55+ hairs (all clay/Maxis style). They don't have custom thumbnails, but all have been correctly categorized (e.g. occults enabled, No Random, hair type, etc.) Please let me know if anything is broken, or if I've accidentally included the mesh with the recolor or something... I'm new to this. :)

Here is my founder/starting sim of the Forest Legacy - Hayley Forest

I made her in bodyshop using the pooklet method of creating sims

I got Hayley and the 19 other adult townies I made for this hood (also using the pooklet method) to meet on a lot so they could all interact

Hayley ended up flirting with Bryce Gibbs

I didn’t have a house pre-build for this Legacy, that was built over time of earning enough money via their job

I didn’t take very many screenshots when I started the Legacy -_- I regret it now cos it would’ve been nice to see the house before it was complete & how Hayley had to sleep/shower outside

Hayley married Bryce Gibbs but the two fell out of love with each other which lead to Bryce remarrying and having twins with another woman

Hayley never remarried and instead focused on her career and raising her family

Hayley achieved her Life Time Want (I didn’t save an older version of my spreadsheet so I can’t remember what it was exactly, but you can see in the last image she got the gold gravestone for achieving her LTW)

Hayley died of old age
