Stupid Things about my TF2 Beastars AU that just makes sense

AKA, an excuse to infodump about my really goofy au First, everyone’s species and heights from Shortest to tallest Scout - Dumbo Rat - 0′10 Pyro - Fennec Fox - 1′4 Spy - European Polecat - 3′4 Sniper - Red Necked Wallaby - 4′8 Engineer - Longhorn Cattle - 5′6 Demoman - Panther - 6′0 Medic - Dog (German Shepard) - 6′0 Soldier - Sea Lion - 6′5 Heavy - Grizzly Bear - 6′11 The ones who keep their canon height only really keep it because Beastars heights don’t really make sense

Headcanons Part 1 (they are real and canon)

Medic

+ Medic’s doves are replaced with Goliath Beetles (because they are cool :D). This means that there is a whole ass goliath beetle in Scout’s chest. How this is possible is beyond me, but I mean so is the fact that there is a whole ass bird in Scout’s chest in canon.

+ Medic and Heavy cling to each other in matches against the enemy team.

+ Medic and Heavy end up in the same bed more than they would like to admit if you catch my drift. They literally cling to each other like glue. They don’t even do anything raunchy when they share a bed, they just spoon.

+ Medic’s tail wags every time he’s with Heavy. He tries his hardest to suppress it but its hard to stop one beast’s dog-like instincts. Even if he’s considered a more serious looking breed, he’s still a dog and he still loves Heavy so its bound to wag.

Pyro

+ Pyro is a little fella with a comically large flamethrower. They are so friendshaped until they pull out a flamethrower three times their size.|

+ Scout and Pyro go shopping together whenever they can and they always come back with like 15 different impulse buys because neither of them have self control

+ Pyro has tons of plushies in their room that are 10 times their size

+ Pyro also sleeps in a ball upon one of these plushies. Most of the Mercs believe that compared to everyone else’s beds, Pyro probably sleeps the coziest.  + Pyro is also autistic

Scout

+ The fact he is 10 inches tall somehow doesn’t stop him from beating your skull in. He will bite your ankles, he will hit you with his bat when you’re down, he will go feral.  + I already mentioned this but he and Pyro are besties. They were scared of each other at first and now they communicate in the ancient language of group stimming activities.   + Scout has ADHD so I jokingly call him and Pyro as a pair “ADHD vs Autism”

Chaotic Bonus

+ With Scouts mom being so small compared to Spy, and Spy being a carnivore, there has been multiple occasions where Spy has been tempted to eat Scout’s mom. Spy would be considered a meat offender if it weren’t for the times Scout has bitten Spy’s ankles in an attempt to get him to stop thinking about devouring his mom. If rats could carry rabies in the universe of Beastars, I’m 99 percent sure that Spy would have gotten it by now. I will reblog with more of my silly AU if I remember

It was a dark, chilly night in Callimari County, and two cephalopods stood in front of a surprisingly large house. Callie and Nori, as well as Marie, had come to visit the Squid Sisters’ parents for the holidays, getting an early start by showing up just before splatoween. 

In the inkling’s hand was a flashlight, and in the octoling’s a custom Splaterscope, covered in hot-pink stickers wherever she and her girlfriend could responsibly fit them. Their free hands were joined together, shivering from the cold. and maybe from nerves, just a little.

Callie gave her girlfriend a reassuring smile before separating their hands to open the large wooden door. She’d wanted to explore this place ever since she heard the ghost stories, but her parents (and Marie) always talked her out of it as a teen. Now that she was older, and had Nori to keep her safe, she couldn’t wait to see what was inside! Nori was a little skeptical of a ghost causing all the strange stuff around the house, but that didn’t stop her from bringing her Splaterscope along, despite how impractical it was to carry such a large weapon around without the sling to attach it to her back. Nori had never landed a shot on a target she couldn’t see at all, but it’d be a lie to say she wasn’t somewhat exited for the chance to try.

They’d barely made it into the foyer before several loud “crack!"s and "bang!"s rang out from the darkness in front of them. In an instant Nori swung her Splatterscope around towards the noises, with so much force it likely would have knocked Callie out if she hadn’t been so startled by the noise that she reflexively went into swim form. As she scanned the darkness in front of her, Nori saw dozens- maybe hundreds- of eyes, reflective and silvery-green, staring back at her. Without a second thought she picked up Callie and ran back towards the door as fast as her shaky legs could carry her. Behind them came terrible shrieking and hissing and the sound of a hundred feet chasing after them.

As she approached the door Nori slipped on an old rug and fell to the floor, sending a cloud of dust into the air and the inkling in her arms out the door and tumbling down the hill the house sat on. Just as Nori scrambled back to her feet, one of the thing’s claws hooked into her jacket knocking off a pin and cutting a small scratch into her skin.

The moment she was out the door she went into swim form, opting to roll down the hill just as Callie had. Once they were both at the bottom, they both sat up to look back at the house. A-dozen-or-so feral salamanders we’re skulking around in front of the mansion, hissing down at the ex-tresspassers at the bottom of the hill. Both breathed a sigh of relief, and Callie helped her girlfriend to her feet, and they walked back towards town in comfortable silence.

Nori turned to her girlfriend with an apologetic look. "I’m sorry we didn’t find any ghosts” she half-wispered, not wanting to disturb the quiet too much. “Are you kidding? That was awesome!” Callie said excitedly, while stimming by shaking her balled up fists up and down as if shaking a spray can or a maraca. “I got to explore a creepy old house, see some scary monsters,” she paused to give Nori a kiss on the cheek, emphasizing her final point, “and I even got saved by a knight in shining armor!”. Nori blushed, and returned the favor by giving Callie a kiss on the forehead.

When they got home, Marie asked if they wanted to come with her to help the rest of the town prepare for the upcoming Halloween party. They both politely declined. All Nori wanted right now was some cuddles with her girlfriend, a new patch for the hole in her jacket, and a call with her doctor to double check she had her rabies shot. But the last two could wait for now.

Alright, well, after scarring everyone on my nsfw account, time for INTEGRA POSTING AGAIN

Gets the brunt of my "why are humans" questions; usually answers with "I don't fucking know, go to bed!" When she's tired sometimes she agrees that humans are shit

Has a hidden button that summons Walter SPECIFICALLY to drag me out of there

Confiscates my tamagotchi and removes the batteries because the beeping was driving her up a wall (autistic stimming by hitting all the buttons). Finds out how to mute it and fucking keeps it lol. His name is Johnathan.

Gets bit once (goblin was not getting enough attention and had to Commit Crimes) deadpan asks if I contracted rabies.

I roll up to the function.

I am wearing cat themed kitten heels (pastel colored) and bright neon rainbow socks and a pink miniskirt and a sanrio bag and a shirt that looks like it was made from pure kidcore decora kawaii energy. I have too many keychains and a Kirby hair clip even though my hair is too short to need a clip. My earrings are little clip on swears in colorful comic book style.

I eat all the food with my bear hands and stim wildly the whole time and walk around with t rex arms and laugh too hard at everything.

I have zero filter. I stare blankly at the wall. I am looking.

I break out cards against humanity and someone's grandma faints. I go "oh naur!!!" In response and then cry because I'm worried

I call everything POGGERS unironically and sing little songs to myself. I drink three cans of soda and when it's time for alcohol I insist we make a cocktail so it's not bitter.

I run around really fast and jump down the stairs. When it's my turn to pick some songs I play "choked out" by MAGS and then "Deep indigo" by Yorushika and probably some Happy fitts and Nanawokari songs. In that order. It's time to suggest a movie and I suggest The Barbie movie or maybe Bubble (it's my favorite) and also ask if we can go to the mall just to walk around.

I brought cupcakes and chocolate. They are also neon brightly colored and probably sanrio themed.

The whole time this is happening, Seán is next to me looking at me lovingly. Even when I eat a burger like a rabid fucking wolf with rabies and three counts of manslaughter. Even when I casually start talking about the terrors of capitalism and then switch the subject to the history of an obscure LOTR fan forum/cult/fake charity and try to explain fanfiction terms to a traumatized normie.

I tell someone I'm going to eat them. This makes them uncomfortable. I do not notice because I have the tism and then I ask if they'd like to hear me infodump about the Tumblr toe necklace controversy. They would not. I nod at this and go back to the snack table to eat all the chocolate chips cookies.

I am never again invited to a function.
