🏹 08. drunk dreams and hangovers

It was the morning after, and you were perched on a barstool pulled up to the kitchen counter, eating breakfast. Though a raging headache was beating like a bass drum in your head, you soldiered through, not wanting to attend class on an empty stomach. In near silence except for the click of his door being pushed open, Scaramouche circled around to the fridge, opening the door and grabbing some sort of energy drink.

Shirtless. Opening the fridge door, grabbing something, standing in front of you while completely nonchalant and oblivious to the fact that he was shirtless.

You watched the way his muscles flexed under your gaze, and before his eyes could meet yours, you feigned a look of disgust, scowling at the boy.

“Could you at least put a shirt on while I’m eating?” You pleaded, and Scaramouche slightly smirked, twisting open the top of the drink he had gotten.

“It’s not my fault you can’t handle it.” Scara simply shrugged, taking a sip. You tried to peel your eyes away but you watched intently as he pulled the bottle away from his lips, wiping away the excess liquid that dropped on his mouth. Your eyes fluttered into a lidded gaze, being able to hear your heartbeat in your ears and the tension in your skull.

“Hm.” You only hummed, feigning innocence this time. “You’re right… I can’t.” You cooed, watching as his smug expression slowly faded into one of confusion as you slid off your barstool, closing the distance between you and him until your faces barely ghosted each other, one of your hands creeping up around his neck and the other meeting it in a secure lock. At once, you jumped up onto him, wrapping your legs around his waist, leaning closer until…

At once, Scaramouche woke up in a cold sweat, panting heavily as his heartbeat raced through his chest.

17- Hot girls r nice to other girls

You were walking in the hallway, trying to get to your next class. It was a normal day really. Nothing out of the usual was happening. You were pretty happy since it was literature and you’d get to see Scara since you haven’t seen him all day. A small smile formed on your lips.

You remembered the incident that happened at the haunted house. The feeling of his heart beat right under you was a feeling you never wanted to forget, If anything you wanted to feel that again.

You kept walking with the memory of Scara in your mind, as you gave out a happy sigh. Unbeknownst to you, a certain purple haired girl was getting ready to approach you from where she was.

“Hey there.” you stopped in your tracks to look at the tall female. If you remembered correctly her name was Mona and she was the president of the astrology club.

“Oh hi.” You gave her an awkward smile, not knowing what she wanted from you.

“So, I’ve heard you’re going to the home coming with Scaramouche?” she asked you with a raised brow that gave you an icky feeling inside.

“Uh, yeah? Why.” you asked trying to seem as polite as possible.

“Well, are you guys dating?” you tried to keep your composure at the suddenly question and slowly shook your head.

“I mean no but-“

“Great! Then you don’t mind me asking him to the homecoming do you?”

You frowned at the question. You already told her you were going with him, why did it matter that you guys weren’t dating?

“Uh, I guess no? Do whatever you want.” you said trying to end the conversation as soon as possible.

“Good. I suggest you find yourself another date then. You know, to not go alone.” she gave you a smile that made your stomach turn in anxiety. She was being so genuine yet it felt so fake. It was almost like she was looking down on you.

“Well since Scara didn’t agree to go with you yet, I guess I’m not going alone for the time being.” you gave her a roll of eyes as you stepped next to her to go to your class.

“And good luck with that.” you added and took off.
