I feel like if there was ever really bad weather (like a tornado or something like that) the group would react in very different ways:

Logan grew up with his grandparents and not only are they southern he is too, so he’s standing outside watching the weather.

Tyler is desperately trying to get everyone to the safe place, but god damnit are they making it hard.

Taylor is used to this and is trying to calm Tyler down while also showing the rest where the safe place is.

Ashlyn is already in the safe place because it has the least amount of noise and with storm and Tyler it’s too loud out there.

Ben is also already in the safe place and is the one to point out that nether Aiden or Logan are there once most of them are in there.

Aiden has just found out about watching the storm and is out there with Logan, Logan does have to tell him a few times that no you don’t go past the porch.

Tyler had always been jealous of Ashlyn. There was this specific memory he of her that always made him upset. It was the first day of school—Tyler can never remember what grade it was, but he knew it was when they were younger. He and Taylor were walking to school together.

They saw how all of the others kid had either one or both parents walking to school with them. Telling their kids to have a good day at school. But there was this specific girl Tyler has always noticed. She had short braided ginger pigtails, lots of freckles all over her body, and would always wear headphones. She never talked to anybody, she would always just keep to herself.

He would occasionally hear people make up rumors about her or talk about how she’s a “anti-social freak”, but that’s not what Tyler cared about her. He always saw her parents, and that’s what made him upset.

Tyler’s mother was never there anymore. She used to always come on the first day, and pack Taylor and Tyler bag lunches with little notes. Now she was to busy weeping in bed to do anything. Really, seeing any child with supportive parents didn’t make him happy. But it was how Ashlyn’s parents were always pushing her to make friends, knowing she never had.

Tyler had wished his parents were there to do that.

LGBTQ headcannons for pride month

I'm so nervous omg

Ashlyn: Questioning Bisexual (male lean)

-Assumed she was straight all her life ( never gave it much thought until now ), but is questioning her sexuality. She's not open about it and won't be until she knows for sure if she's bi or not. (Win for Taylyn community) (and aidlyn too, ig)

Aiden: Unlabled

- Conflicting feelings about his identity. He decided a long time ago that he doesn't care and wants to live and express himself however he likes. He doesn't want to be put in a box or be told what he can or can't be. He can be attracted romantically to any and all genders and express his identity freely.

Ben: Aroace spec

- OK so I projected a bit who cares, Ben doesn't feel too strongly one way or the other when it comes to his sexuality and gender identity. His current mindset when it comes to relationships is "if it happens, it happens, but I won't force it, and I'm more than okay if it doesn't happen." I think Ben already struggles enough with his identity as it is, so when it comes to sexuality and gender he can't be bothered to care. (Side note; I see a lot of bigender Ben on the tag rn and it's so sweet)

Tyler: Questioning/Closeted? Bisexual (no lean)

- Similarly to Ashlyn, he didn't get a lot of time to think about it. His only concern is taking care of his family, and he doesn't need another person coming into his life right now. When he does get the chance to think about it, however, he comes to the conclusion that he might be bi. It's something he keeps to himself, and he's hesitant to tell Taylor. He's comfortable in his masculinity, even if people think styling hair and doing piercings is girly.

Taylor: Bisexual (fem lean)

- I don't think this needs much explanation, Taylor is for the girls always. She wouldn't struggle as much as her brother, and isn't ashamed of how she feels. She's big into romance, and has lots and lots of love to give

Logan: Pansexual

- I genuinely don't know what to put here, it's just a feeling. Wish I could explain it.
