Recs for new doll blogs to follow?

Help me out, folks! After being away from Tumblr for so long my dash is looking a little sparse XD A fair amount of the blogs I used to follow have been inactive for several years, and many of the ones that are still posting have shifted their focus to different topics, so there is sadly very little doll content turning up in my feed. I'm gradually adding new people from searching tags, but I would love suggestions for any currently active doll blogs you follow and enjoy. TYIA!

So I FINALLY finished my first custom doll. This doll gave me a LOT of trouble and I almost gave up. But I persisted and now she exists!!!!

There’s a lot I’d change or do differently in the future, but for now, I’m just happy to have completed a project 🥰

Some mods I made: her jacket was originally a shirt but I added a little pin and sewed sequins on the back. I also made her the little bead bracelet as well as the belt and necklace. I also added purple glitter to her shoes and two gems to her headphones.

Also in this closeup you can see how crazy messy her face is. Originally it was much cleaner but I had so many issues with her eyes that it got super messed up so I repainted part of it and added more glitter. In a way I think it was a good thing, because I was inspired by some dolls that had super grungy glitter makeup and I think I wasn’t brave enough to make her that messy. By accidentally roughing up her original faceup I was forced to add the grunge element I wanted. So it all worked out in the end! And I’m glad I learned how to add the eyes neatly in the end because now I know how to keep that from happening to the other shadow high custom I’m working on!!

I’ve decided to name her Dottie ^u^

Added some more stuff to my Ko-Fi over the past few days, there a couple new heads for RH/SH (the first two photos), a spider BJD, as well as a new outfit for Drac.

I have more stuff to add when I have the time, including making the spider head compatible with RH/SH.

Hey folks, yesterday was a bit of a day and I have some necessary tasks to accomplish today which probably won't leave much time for dolly stuffs--but I'm working on some things! Hopefully will have a few more older dolls ready for sharing/review by the end of the week. In the meantime here's the current view from my desk, a bit cluttered at the moment, but one of my planned chores is to clear this up so the bottom row of Rainbow/Shadow High is once again visible. I'll probably do a more detailed 'tour' of this part of the collection at some point.....
