i know on stag’s blog, daring is kind of like lance when it comes to osiria but also: imagine daring being a good uncle because it’s his best friend and his brother’s daughter and he’s truly a good person.

so when dexter tells them he totally gives HIM the shovel talk. briar is his best friend, there’s no way in hell he’s letting dexter (possibly) ruin her life because of their party lifestyle. dexter is very uncomfortable during the whole thing but promises that he’ll do his best. daring pulls him into a strong hug and tells him that he’s going to be a great dad and that he’ll be there for him and briar every step of the way.

darling is excited as hell, yet another child she can impart her sword lesbian knowledge onto.

Okay but following protective (slightly dark) Charming siblings, specifically Stag’s silversleep timeline where him and Briar end up as hardcore partiers, just, Daring and Darling managed to find out about the private instagrams (since I doubt Dexter would want them to know about it) just for the two blondes to like, track him down at a party and throw him over the shoulder like “bitch were going home” “nooooo, I’m having a good time” “idc were going home, you’re high as shit”

stag’s silversleep au gives me LIFE i love it so much omg.

daring already isn’t onboard with briar’s partying lifestyle and as her self proclaimed best friend, he’s tried many times to get her to quit. (which usually ends up with them both passed out drunk and very high) so when she starts getting dexter involved, he realizes that he has to step in. he tells darling what’s going on and they decide to help them get sober. daring and briar are in class one day and she tells him the location of her next party. daring and darling show up that night and basically bring bri and dex back to daring’s dorm room (hopper is in hunter’s room during this whole situation). darling and daring (somehow) convince them to go to rehab. surprise, it doesn’t work! and they still go back to their partying lifestyle. that’s when they decide to bring in the big gun, aka their mom friend/daring’s girlfriend/darling’s roommate/briar’s cousin: rosabella. dare and dar leave her in the dorm room with her for a little bit and they go back to rehab for good this time and they get sober.

The Osiria timeline was wild though, in consideration with other anon who brought it up. Since I know you don’t know like, Dexter and Briar ended up partying and getting high together cause Dexter was like, a behind the doors bad kid, and after a few months, Briar ended up pregnant and it was like, disaster after that, especially Briar’s relationship with Apple. But, drama was fun though
