#comic #raven beak #samus #samus aran #grey voice #old bird #metroid #metroid dread #she is three years old and just wanted to see Grey Voice #he's cool and tall #but the minute she enters the room BLAM there it is some motherfucker who's even TALLER than he is #it's tough when you're a kid and you're small and your parents died less than 2 months ago one of them right in front of you #she doesn't know if this stranger is nice like Grandpa Bird or of he's mean like the guy who ate her mother #and height is another thing he has in common with the purple pterodactyl! but he's not eating Grey Voice so he must be okay #anyways Samus likes Grey Voice because he smells nice and his robes are soft. he doesn't play with her often like Grandpa Bird does #but she'd like to change that. so she tries by putting in the effort herself. and she drags grandpa bird all over looking for him #she does this at least twice a week #chozo #unfortunately for Old Bird's ailing knees. but he tries his best.#i can only imagine the rest of their conversation #grey voice is gonna have a time explaining how he and old bird adopted this orphan kid off the side of the road like an abandoned puppy #meanwhile raven beak is giving him a hard time like 'ayy i thought you said you were sterile'#he's very interested in seeing how this develops #his gracious hosts aren't exactly getting any younger and they haven't been keeping up with their cardio #but they've got the gumption and he thinks they can pull it off. the kid making it long enough to leave the nest i mean.

#it’s this sort of situation where I see these people on ocassion irl and I will talk to them - I’m fine talking to them - then they’ve #started messaging - and like I’m fine messaging them once or twice a week - but I don’t want anything to go further #it’s like one of them is now messaging me 5+ times a day and the other is kinda asking me out for a coffee and I do not want to do that #they’re both perfectly nice people - and are sort of friends with my sister and her bf - but I also don’t want them to be anything other #than sort of acuaintances - I’m like 24 so I’m really wary of being friends with people who are quite a bit older than me when they aren’t #properly work colleagues #especially when they are single men #like please do not take advantage of my niceness I do not want you to do that

From a very young age, Kaeya held such a fondness for handholding. Whether it was his father clinging tightly to him to make sure he didn’t get lost, Adelinde’s gentle, grounding hand closed over his to comfort him whenever his nerves got the better of him, Crepus’s rough-palmed, firm yet comforting grip as he brought him back home, or, as it was most often of all, Diluc’s warm, yet at times uncomfortably tight hold as he dragged him anywhere, everywhere, determined to always keep Kaeya close and eagerly show him all there was to see, Kaeya treasured the gesture greatly.

Of course, being as shy as he was, initiating it himself was always the harder part. So much so, he would tend to hold pinkies, rather than outright take a person’s hand in his own. Eventually, it would become his most common way to go about the gesture of affection.

Even if her Pyro energy did make him uncomfortable at first; but he got used to it. for her #//Luc made it easy to go right to it to—the kid would always seem to know when he wanted to hold hands for whatever reason and grabbed hold #before Kae could link pinkies. kae did like the fact that Luc would Pout the few times Kae did link pinkies instead of hold hands #//Pout; & snatch his hand firmly in his like ‘Why did you do that? THIS way’s better’. Love the image of bby!Kae grabbing bby!Luc’s sleeves #but lbr; they deffo held hands a lot as kiddos. Bc we all know just how (canonically) indulging Luc is with whatever Kae wants. Once Luc #//figured him out; it was a Very common sight; seeing Luc tromping around like the proud lil protector he was; & Kae scurrying after him #//Lil subtle delighted gleams in his eye compared to Luc’s more overt confidence and joy. So common a sight; it was no surprise that #Kae was Deffo distressed when Luc inevitably grew out of it. Adjusted; yeah; but the sudden Change was deffo NOT good for his nerves #//Clung to Addie a lot to make up for it; until he heard the maids tittering abt how childish he was being #//He quit that FAST; finding other ways to stave off his nerves and show his affection #//Sometimes when he’s drunk at Angel’s Share; he gets tempted to hold Luc’s hand—an old habit dredged back up bc he wants comfort #//But any sudden moves Luc makes; whether bc he noticed Kae reaching out or not; utterly scare the urge away every time #//He’s made his peace with Luc resenting him; but it still stings that the ONE person he felt closest to is now practically a Chasm away #//Not like he helps any with that; running away or lashing out every time Luc tries to bridge gaps or shows concern #//Sends him into fight or flight mode every time—who’s to say Kae won’t fuck it up and make a Luc regret trying?#//Might as well sabotage it all himself—at least THEN he knows with utmost certainty it will end failure. Whoops veered off topic #//The closer he is to someone; the more likely he ends up toying with their hands a bit—esp if Interested in them #//Likes playing with their fingers; linking; unlinking and slotting them together; tracing lines on their palms #//Cute shit like that. He likes seeing how they fit together; the differences in size and how they feel #//This was all bc I saw a detail from a show pointed out on the Twitter ndnfn. since Ne won't give me more Gertrude content I have no choice but to feed myself. Based this off of Eli's 'Lunar Phase' skin and went with a sun theme so she could be the black sun to his white moon. thinking about whether or not I want the name to be Solar Cycle to match Lunar Phase or Solar Eclipse 🤔.

i am well on my way to becoming besties with this girl in my class i have a friend crush on

#i made a joke at a party on saturday and she has said it twice every day this week LKSJDFKSDKL #and also she's picking up on a bunch of my misc phrases #i said cringefail loser moment in the gc and she said it to me today #I'M SO OBSESSED WITH HER I WANNA BE HER BESTIE SO BAD she's so cute and nice and was stroking my calf #today when i put my foot on her leg slkdjflsdjfls she's my QUEEN!!!#also the cute guy in my class who i didn't think liked me and i bonded a LOT today #and i reacted during his performance of something and he jokingly yelled at me for reacting after #and then he was like yeah anytime there was a big moment in people's performances i would look over at you #to see you react to stuff and every time you did #and he laughed at my jokes and we had to do a cringefail loser exercise with each other and it was nice #AND another girl complimented my eyes because i took off my glasses to perform and i got so bashful #IT WAS A GOOD DAY i cried on the bus to school and home FROM school but #i like my friends...... i hope there's no drama and we all become a really tight knit group #and even though i was super crazy today to offset the Sewerslidalness. everyone thought i was funny and charming!!!#and not in a mocking way!!!#i like them. #this girl I was close friends/roommates with during my last year of college just got engaged with her bf of 8 years #while I am happy for both of them… idk I have difficult feelings about her now and don’t see her as a friend anymore #she used to live in the same city as me during the first like year and a half or so of the pandemic #and in that time we got to see/hang out with each other twice #first time we got to catch up for a few hours and we had a good time but it was kinda bittersweet… idk how to describe it #the second time she asked me last minute to accompany her to pick up stuff she got through Facebook marketplace #during one of those two times we hung out/she basically told me to my face that it would be the last time I’d see her #i understood initially cuz she was about to start teaching and she wanted to focus on her relationships with her bf and her family #but not long after she started teaching/she quickly started going out a lot and making new friends #then she moved to another town like 30 ish minutes away cuz her aunt kicked her out in the middle of her first year of teaching #idk I never had a good feeling about things cuz of all of that stuff I stated above #but also since she’s been trying on working to improve her relationship with her mom after everything she’s done to her #cuz we both have shitty moms who’ve said and done shitty things to us and our families #i know it probably won’t happen or won’t happen for like a few years #but in the event she invites me to her wedding/ I’m gonna be deadass with her about how I’ve felt about her #and see if she’s willing to work on improving our friendship before I decide to attend (if she does invite me cuz idk)#oh I also forgot how after she moved after her aunt kicked her out #she had the nerve to randomly ask if I could watch her aunt’s dogs during the week I was starting 3 online summer classes #she didn’t even like say hi/make small talk or ask nicely either #she just straight up was like ‘hey can you watch my aunt’s dogs during (x) week?’#she recently congratulated me when I posted on my Instagram story that I passed my driving text and got me license but I didn’t respond #I just have a lot of difficult feelings about her now/wish I could unfollow her but I don’t wanna start shit & her be all in my face & shit #jazz uses curse! 💜
