“I'm wearing my gákti. It's a traditional sámi clothing. As you might see I have some broches. The oldest one of these is from the 19th century. I'm also wearing my trusty Doc Martens. Wearing my gákti makes me feel strong and confident. My outfit is inspired by the traditional sámi regalia, but I have given it my own spin.“

“The ostrich boots I found in Texas at a local spot near the boarder. The pants are thrifted and by Alessandro Vasini, the sweater is from a consignment shop in San Francisco. The jacket was a friend’s who got it from a friend— if you couldn’t tell, I love carrying stories. I got the glasses from my favorite vintage pop up that happens twice a year. Earrings are from a thrift store in Brooklyn. The artist likes to give his creations to them, they give me a call, and I swing by the next day. My style inspiration? I used to watch Pootie Tang with my grandparents on the only tv they had when I would spend summers in Mississippi. That with a dash of how my Detroit uncles and a hint of old Chicago. It’s all a reflection of where I’ve been. I buy pieces that call my name then rely on how I’m feeling that day to orchestrate the rest.“

“Almost everything I’m wearing has been thrifted. My coat is one of my best thrift finds and I’m always wearing it when it’s cold out. The skirt is borrowed from a friend and the bag I made myself. My Dr. Martens boots I bought new and I wear them everywhere I go. I draw inspiration from music and my favourite artists and friends’ styles. My personal style is a mix of many different ones. I like wearing clothes that make me feel good and happy without trying too much to stick to just one specific style!”

“My bag is Balenciaga, hat is from Miniso, sweater is this Atlanta brand Mind Bowling and the vest Hyein Seo, also wearing Jncos and Nike Sacais. I don’t like to put limits on myself, like I’m wearing every color of the rainbow. I want to be a living 3d animation. I love Moschino, Teso Life, and Trash and Vaudeville. I want to make a younger version of myself proud.”
