seventeen hyung line’s reaction to their youngest member forgetting to take care of themself

seungcheol is literally your father (or at least he believes so) so be warned, he will be watching you 24/7

notices the small things, like if your eye bags are particularly dark, and will call you out on it immediately

“how much sleep did you get last night?” he falls onto the couch, occupying the spot next to you and wrapping his arm around your shoulders

“uh, like 4 hours, i guess,” you ignore the glare he gives you, “but it’s only because i was practicing late…”

he hums as he uses his hand to push your head onto his shoulder

“that’s not enough, kid,” he mumbles into your hairline, “not nearly enough, actually. how about you nap now?

you consider arguing, but you know it’s useless so you just nod and let yourself get comfy against him

he just sits and scrolls through his phone for an hour or so before rearranging you so you’re not leant on him

cant help himself when he sees you with your cheeks squished up against the pillow and takes a photo

carats will love it when he posts it on weverse…

jeonghan takes care of you without even noticing you’re not taking care of yourself

it’s all part of being his baby the youngest

so you’re far from surprised when he comes into your room one day with a cup of ramen in his hands

he says he’s just come to see what you’re doing, but you cant help but notice that in between his own bites, he’s shoving mouthful after mouthful in your direction

and you barely get to answer his questions because whenever you try to, he just scolds you for talking with your mouthful

“so what did you say you’re doing?” he leans over to you, eyes trained on your computer screen as he holds another mouthful in front of you

you take it and begin to chew

“well, you s-”

“finish your food before you talk,” he scolds, “don’t be gross!”

you just roll your eyes and do as he says

you know there’s no point in arguing

joshua hong can and will make you go outside with him

most of the time he claims it’s because he’s in need of a photographer, but you begin to notice a pattern

oh, you haven’t been out in a few days? you’re practically counting down the seconds until josh is walking through your door with your shoes, ready to go

and don’t worry if you refuse - joshua has his methods

“i’ll tell seungcheol,” he says as he walks into your room, swinging your trainers from his hands.

“oh yeah? what will you tell him?” you pay him no mind, knowing seungcheol won’t care if you haven’t left the house in a few days…

“i’ll tell him all about how you’ve locked yourself in your room and you’re not sleeping or eating enough,” he grins at you, happy with the lies he’s spouting.

you gasp and stand up in shock

“that’s not fair!” you grumble, “you can’t just lie to him!”

joshua laughs and passes you your shoes.

“i can and i will,” he gives you an innocent smile, “now come on, my little photographer! you have a job to do.”

doesn’t necessarily notice you’ve been living off of energy drinks and snack food until hoshi mentions it one day in practice

and sure enough when he looks over he notices you with a monster can in hand and a bag of chips resting between your thighs

and actually, now that he thinks about it, you woke up too late to eat breakfast so this is your first meal of the day

he excuses himself from his conversation to walk over to you and crouch next to you

“is that all you’re eating?” he pulls you out of your daydream and you look at him in confusion, “i mean, you didn’t have breakfast, which you should’ve because cheol told us to eat a lot since we’d be too busy for lunch.”

you frown and look at the bag of chips, which is almost gone, and think about how you should’ve rationed them more

“i take that as a yes,” he frowns, “and don’t get me started on the monster! if minghao sees you drinking that he’ll have an aneurysm. doesn’t he always warn you about keeping yourself healthy?”

you can’t help but roll your eyes and put your drink down on the floor

“i just need the energy,” you complain, “my body feels tired.”

“yeah, because you didn’t eat this morning,” he argues and stands up, holding his hand out to pull you up too, “now, let’s go and beg cheol for a small lunch break, okay?”

kwon soonyoung

he notices the way you trip over during practice and have to stumble through the rest of the dance with a limp

immediately pauses the music once the routine finished and calls you out on it

“take a seat for a while,” he orders, “you cant dance on an injured ankle, and it’ll make it worse if you try to.”

but you insist that you’re fine because you don’t want to slow down practice or make it difficult for the others

there’s a staring match between you and hoshi for a while, but he will not give in

if there’s two things he cares about to the end of the earth, it’s dance and his members and you’re just unlucky that this involves both of them

“go and sit down before i drag you to the bench myself,” god, you hate how scary he gets when he’s teaching choreography, “and don’t test me because i will do it.”

you know he will, so you just bow your head and hobble to the side of the room where the bench is waiting for you

“good,” he mumbles, going back to the stereo that’s waiting for him to press play, “i’ll get someone to grab an ice pack for you, okay?”

jeon wonwoo

he likes to spend quiet time with you which means more often than not, he’s around to take care of you

like he’ll literally be sat playing games on his pc, checking on you out of the corner of his eye every few minutes

if he sees your eyes drooping for even a second, he pauses his game and gives you a soft look

“go to sleep, kiddo,” he instructs softly, smiling a little when you jolt yourself awake, “i can see you dropping to sleep over there. don’t fight it, you probably need it.”

you grimace, taking a deep breath before you sit up properly and rub your eyes

“i’m fine, woo,” you grumble, widening your eyes slightly to try and make yourself feel more awake

he just laughs to himself, shaking his head as if he didn’t believe you

“go to bed, or i’ll take you myself,” you roll your eyes at him, but open your arms wide

“carry me?” you beg as if you’re a kid rather than someone just a few years younger than him

to which he rolls his eyes jokingly and stands up from his desk

“you’re so lucky i love you,” he chuckles

“you love me?” you tease

“yes, even though you’re annoying…”

lee jihoon

he loves you, he really does, but sometimes he’s a little too busy to pay too much attention to the small things

besides, he trusts him members to take care of their maknae well

except the two of you are in the studio, just messing around really

it was your suggestion because you wanted to spend time with him, and he had nothing too important to do so obviously he said yes

you’re spitting absolute bars into the microphone whilst he struggles to hold in his laughter, but half way through he can’t help but notice a strange grumbling behind your voice

he pauses the track he quickly produced just moments prior to you stepping in the booth and your voice peters away

“have you eaten today?” he furrows his brows as he hears it again, “and don’t even think about lying to me, kid.”

you roll your eyes in annoyance

“i had breakfast…”

“it’s midnight,” he deadpans, “you haven’t eaten since breakfast?”

you shrug, not seeing the big issue

“wasn’t hungry, was i…”

he stands up from his desk and shuffled over to the booth’s door, pulling it open immediately

“don’t care, pipsqueak,” his voice is much clearer now he’s speaking directly to you, “let’s go eat. we can carry this on again later and then we won’t have your tummy grumbling in the background, yeah?”

[GOING SEVENTEEN] HIDE N SEEK ep. 53

SEVENTEEN's signature chase game 'HIDE N SEEK' is back 🤫

???: isn't it like... better than 'MOUSEBUSTERS?'

What awaits at the end after a crazily genius round of hiding and seeking? 😎

[Rules] - [Divide into two teams of six and switch roles for each round]

The first team had been formed, Dino as leader only had the support of Daisy while the others (Minghao, Woozi, Mingyu, Seokmin, Vernon) were forced to join. Never a day will pass where Daisy and Dino do not play each other's wingman.

«We will definitely win» - The opposing team led by Seungkwan was already starting to provoke Dino. «I don't know what it is but I get competitive with him» - Dino rolled his eyes as he shrugged his shoulders, starting a typical BooChan scene in GoSe.

At the beginning of the first round Dino and the "Not Logical" team had to deal with hiding objects and then finding the hiding team.

«Is it camouflage?» - Mingyu was trying to hide the megaphone as best he could. «It sticks out tho» - Daisy had joined him in hiding the objects, as well as Vernon who was standing next to the two of them. «Yeah it's too clean, clean and new» - Mingyu was holding the object, squaring its details until he pressed the power button which made, of course, noise.

«What's wrong with you?» - Vernon and Daisy said in unison, giving a side-eye to Mingyu who stood still to take the rebukes of the other two. Daisy hurriedly went to hide other random items: a poster board, a stuffed animal, a pillow. «Guys, it's time to go» - Dino shouted as soon as the staff began to keep track of the time available before the offense team Hot Pack advanced in looking for the items, but also to hide.

«Do you think they will find the objects?» - Minghao asked while waiting for the opposing team to hide. «I don't think so, Woozi and I did our best» - «Me too!» - Mingyu added, catching his second side-eye of the day.

«Okay, let's go! No wait, Daisy and Mingyu stay here with me, without fighting, the others will do all the work. You know, the beauty of having so many members» - Dino lay down in one of those lounge chairs inside this huge indoor playground, with Daisy on his right and Mingyu on his left, while the others split up to look for members of the opposing team.

«There's one there» - Daisy had seen very well one of the boys hiding behind some bushes and pointed him out without much gesture to Dokyeom who had approached them. «He's hiding there» - She continued to give directions. Do you want to know on whom? Jeonghan. He was hiding but knew he had been seen and begged for silence and not to go chasing after him.

[It's so good to see you]

«Should we chase him?» - Dokyeom looked at the three members who were relaxing. «No, leave him» - Dino replied as he closed his eyes, thus not seeing that Daisy and Dokyeom had already set off running in hopes of catching Jeonghan. «My soldiers are working hard» was the last thing he said before the shift ended. [Creative and funny moments].

[Round 2]

«I need to warm up» - Minghao said as he waited for the other team to hide the items, already inventing a way not to be found. He got under a box, all crouched down. «He fits!» - «He looks like a luggage!» - The others laughed at his choice of imaginative hiding while Daisy covered her face in embarrassment. He's her boyfriend after all. «I'll try it» - Minghao chuckled and once the go to hide had been given, he took Daisy by the hand wanting her help. «Put the box on me please» - They were close to Wonwoo who, unable to play, also laughed at the hiding places. «Alright, don't let them find you right away» [Spoiler: he is found right away] - Daisy placed the box on him not before giving him a kiss hidden by the cameramen.

«Why am I so happy about this?» - Daisy jumped as she looked for a good hiding place; She enjoyed games like that. She initially decided to hide by crouching behind a pillar, but once Joshua found Minghao she changed her mind.

She sat in the chairs placed next to Wonwoo, where those who were found also sat, including not only Minghao, but also Dino, DK, and Woozi: They had no hope of winning. «Did they find you?» - Minghao turned to her mimicking the words, since Jeonghan was there to guard them, but she waved off. «I'm hungry» - so she pretended to be caught by sitting there. «Want some?» - The guard Jeonghan pulled out some chips from his pocket which Daisy took in her hand to open but met Dino's gaze. «Give it to me» - «Here you go boss» - Daisy laughed and then Dino in turn handed the chips to Minghao, who had a lost look. «You take it» - Dino laughed even more and at that moment Daisy decided to release everyone by touching her hand first to Minghao's [A free woman] [Freedom is contagious] «You're free! You haven't got me yet!» - «Get her!» - Jeonghan shouted shocked at being teased.

- [Staff] «Here are the final results»

[Team Hot Pack 1pt; Team Not Logical 0pt]

«Team Hot Pack won against Team Not Logical» - Seungkwan was all too pleased to have defeated Dino after nearly 3 hours of recording. «Too bad» - «We tried so hard actually» - «Knew it» - were the comments of DK, Minghao and Mingyu instead. But not Daisy.

After the recording was finally over, and everyone had gone to take off their microphones and change, she approached Kim Hyunseok, the director of Going Seventeen. «Hyunseok-nim, I heard things earlier: when I was hiding, Jeonghan and Hoshi were talking about photos they took but airdropped with each other! Please check them I swear I heard so but don't tell them now or they will torture me all the time!!!» - What Daisy had heard was true, she was also conflicted about unmasking them during the announcement of the results but it was already funny to her that way!

What will happen to the Seungkwan Team after the spy reveals these secrets?

Its the first of June 2015. Seventeen just made their debut about 2 weeks ago, some would say their debut went beautifully some would say it hasn’t. It depends on who you ask. To those following the Pledis group before their debut seeing their show would say its a dream come true. Finally the group debuted, now the ones just finding out about them, well, they have another thing to say about the group. Or more like the final line up. The industry was shook and rightfully so. No one knows if its Pledis trying to garner attention or what but their line-up is definitely different and is raising all the eyebrows.

Mari knew that her presence made things a little difficult for everyone. She herself wasn’t 100% sure that her being in the group with 13 other guys was the right choice, her parents certainly had their doubts and reservations but its too late now. After trying for so long Mari isn’t about to leave the group without a fight and she likes to think that her members wouldn’t let her go so easily. Hopefully with time the Ncetizens will come around.

The group still had another two weeks of promotions, no one had asked the group about the presence of a female right in their faces, yet. They were grateful, its bound to come up at one point so having it postponed as much as they could is a plus.

Seventeen were getting ready for a music show they’ll be performing on, the rooms wall were paper-thin and the group was loud as is expected of 14 members. Mari was in the first patch to finish her makeup and since they cut her hair short it didn’t take long in that aspect. Now having cut her hair so short is something she didn’t understand and hasn’t forgotten or forgiven the company about. Jeonghan had long hair, why couldn’t she?

Sitting in the sofa closer to the door was Mari, Wonwoo, Seungkwan and Mingho. They were ready and waiting for the others, Mingho and Wonwoo were talking, Seungkwan was on his phone and Mari just leaned her head on Wonwoo's shoulder closing her eyes for a moment. Sleep is something she accepted not having for a while.

"Are you still sleepy, Noona?” Seungkwan asked looking at his female member with concern, she sighed and nodded.

"Yeah, couldn’t sleep more than two or three hours last night.” Mari said reserving all her energy for the stage. “But don’t worry I’m alright slept on the way here.”

Seungkwan pouts a little, he’s not satisfied with the answer nor does he believe her, but it’s not like he can make her sit this one out or something, they had obligations. Wonwoo who was listening to them talk sighed, he knew that yes they were all tired and overwhelmed but Mari especially had it hard with the public against her at the moment, it must’ve weighted heavily on her. The comments online were brutal and no one has seen Mari bothered by it, the older members talk about approaching her but just in case she’s really unaffected then they didn’t want to draw attention to it and upset her. But by the look on her face it seems like she’s affected more than she lets on.

Mari knew that this is bound to happen, she was prepared for all questions and talks by the company the moment they realized she’s the only female in the group she had media training on how to handle questions, Seungcheol often was included in those classes.

The world is against her, something is hating her right now, because why did it have to happen now? She had closed her eyes and was listening in on everyone around her, curse the walls for being so thin, and curse the girls for talking about her in front of her group’s green room.

“I can’t believe it, how bold is she?” One said with a loud voice sounding to be having the time of her life gossiping with her friend, her loud voice coming in clear, Mari didn’t know who they were talking about but she was intrigued.

“I know what a slut! I bet she slept with someone.” Mari frowned not liking how they were talking, she didn’t open her eyes, but she was more than interested now.

“I bet she slept with all of them.” The first one said and her loud laugh rang in the hallway, Mari bit her bottom lip.

“And the CEO too for sure, why else would they debut her with 13 other guys.” Realisation dawned onto Mari, they were talking about her. They were laughing about her and spreading false rumours. It was no secret how she came to be the only female, but people still liked to believe what their minds came up with. Tears gathered in her eyes but as she’s been doing for weeks now, she willed them away. Wonwoo moved his arm so he was hugging her, he heard them talking and he wasn’t the only one, Mari didn’t dare open her eyes but Wonwoo looked at their leader who was standing close to them also hearing the words that were said about the girl. Seungkwan took her hand in his and gave it a squeeze.

“Sit down.” Seungcheol told Chan, who had a murders look on his face. Cheol didn’t leave room for argument as he made his way to the door, their manager trying to calm him down and stop him, opening the door he stepped half out. “Keep your voice down please, we’re trying to rehearse.”

There was no one rehearsing in the room In fact no sound but the hairdryers and what not was heard coming out of the room, but the girls once seeing who was in front of them bowed apologized and ran away.

Seungkwan stood up from his place and was replaced with Jun, he gently pulled Mari out of Wonwoo’s arms and into his arms, the room was silent, everyone was worried to say the least. Jihoon however signalled for everyone to return to what they were doing or to just look away. Junhwi is the closest one to Mari out of all her members, they share everything together and Mari was one of the people who helped him learn Korean, being fluent in Mandarin herself.

For that reason he switched to Mandarin, even if some of the members understood a little, besides Mingho no one would understand. That maybe the reason why a few eyes went to Mingho once Jun started speaking, but he just shrugged. He didn’t feel comfortable telling them what the two were saying.

“Are you okay?” Jun asked slowly trying not to mess up her hair, her head was hidden from view of the room, she still had her eyes closed.

“I am.” She whispered. Her voice cracking slightly, mentally cursing herself for not keeping her composure.

“Since when did we start lying to each other?” His tone was light and teasing, Mari sighed and pulled away from him opening her eyes, but she ignored everyone and focused on him, not ready to face everyone and see the pity in their eyes.

“What do you want me to say? I don’t want to talk about it.” Mari said and her head dipped as she looked at her hands, her nails void of nail polish, and cut shorter than she likes them to be.

“I want the truth.” Mari scoffed and crossed her hands in front of her chest, she couldn’t look at them any longer.

“Junieee, you’re going to make me cry.” Closing her eyes once again to stop the tears from gathering and escaping her eyes.

“Then cry.” He said simply making her roll her eyes and take a deep breath.

“Want the make-up artist to kill me?” Her tone turned slightly teasing as she pushed her feelings aside and promised herself not to think about anything but her performance today and nothing else.

“She wouldn’t… Coups Ge wouldn’t let anyone hurt you.” Jun told her and he pulled at her arm until she loosened up and he could take her hand in his and intertwine their fingers. “I wouldn’t either, I won’t push you, but do you want to talk once we’re home?”

Looking at Jun before she glanced around at the room, she can tell that everyone is worried about her and this is one of the last things she ever wanted to do. Her presence is causing everyone to worry when they should be happy about their final debut but they can’t because of her and that’s something she felt immensely guilty about. Maybe talking with Jun would calm everyone down and make them happy. Turning back to Jun she nods. “Sure.”

“Okay.”

Not long after they were called to go on stage, Mari was walking with her members smiling, she was giving her best smile, there were cameras everywhere and people she doesn’t know so she had to put her best acting performance, she can’t show her weakness. A hand startled Mari as Jeonghan took her hand in his and started swinging their arms back and forth, looking up at him he just smiled making her shake her head but let him do his thing, his way of comforting her. Even if Dino didn’t let this last, he pulled Mari away from Jeonghan and wrapped his arm around her shoulders whispering some kind of evil plan to prank a member or two.

“He’s planning something.” Joshua told Jeonghan as they watched the duo.

“I’m 100% sure he is. Kids.” Jeonghan commented making Joshua shake his head.

“Talk about yourself, you’re making it sound like we’re old.” Joshua said playfully, the mood being lifted now. They decided to enjoy it not knowing for how long it’ll last for.

Hopefully the company releases a statement soon, how long does it take for them to write and release a statement to stop the bullying, no one knows. Pledis however thought that if they ignored the backlash everything will just go away on it’s own, a statement is something they didn’t have in the agenda for now, first they’ll try to do a few things to make the public accept Mari and if all fails they’ll release a statement.

Pledis was put into this spot by accident but if they don’t do anything soon, Mari’s career will be over before it even began.

After a very long and grilling day, Seventeen were back at their dorm and before Mari could escape and go to bed, she found herself being pulled by Jun to the empty kitchen, living with so many had it’s disadvantages, no privacy is one of them.

Getting on top of the counter was easy, the short girl sat comfortably on top of it a place she sat many times before, in a pair of long shorts and a hoodie that belong to one of her members, one of her fellow 95 liners probably. The sleeves were so long they covered her hands. A pout was placed on Mari’s face, she wasn’t looking forward to this talk, but she’ll be go through with it just for her members. She’ll do anything for them.

“I know you don’t want to talk right now, even if we agreed on it.” Jun started and Mari looked at him with tired eyes and gave him a little nod. “Just know that we’re only doing this and having this talk because I love you and worried about you, we all are and I know that it must be very hard for you and we all just wish you’d talk to one of us about what you’re going through or what you’re feeling.”

Mari didn’t say anything and Jun gave her the chance to think about what he said and what she’ll say, Mari was lost in her thoughts for a moment chewing on her bottom lip as she stared at nothing. Before she blinks a couple of times looks down and hums. The 19 year old was a little lost. “It’s just everything feels so unfair, this isn’t what I signed up for, literally, me being in a boy group wasn’t what I set out to be, but here I am, and don’t get me wrong I love you guys so much.” There was so much sincerity in her voice, and not that Jun needed her to say she cared to know how much she does, Mari has always been caring and loving to everyone around her, those debuted with her know that more than anyone. Everything she knows she teaches, all she has she shares, she’s the kind of person that would give you the shirt off her back if you told her you’re cold, sadly this kind of kindness is hard to get by nowadays and is easily manipulated. “But I thought I’d be in a girl group when I first joined Pledis and then I thought that maybe a co-ed group, and then I’ve become the only girl and I knew that the public wouldn’t like it, I understand that they find me odd, what I don’t understand is why they just have to lie and spread awful and just vile rumours about me, when the only thing I’m doing is following my contract.”

“It’s frustrating and you’ve been going through so much those last few months, and I wish you would’ve talked to us so we’d help you.” Jun said honestly stepping closer to place a hand on her dropped shoulder.

“But how?” Mari asked confusing the taller guy.

“How what?”

“How can I ask you guys for help when the only thing I’m doing is hurting you?” She explained and Jun looked at her wide eyed not expecting this at all, but it all made sense now.

“Mari-“

“Jiejie.” A new voice joined them in the kitchen making both members look to Minghao who just joined them. “I’m sorry for interrupting but I just couldn’t help myself, you have to know that none of us thinks you’re causing us any harm.”

“I’m the reason Seventeen is getting black lash and is being talked bad about in the media and we just debuted not even a month ago and this is all because of me and how greedy I was.”

“You did nothing wrong!” Minghao was getting emotional.

“Mingho.” Soonyoung called for the younger member, moving slowly around the wall. “Leave them to talk, come on.”

“But hyung.”

“Come on, just let them finish.” With a heavy sigh the younger listened and left the kitchen Soonyoung gave Jun and Mari a last look before he placed a hand on Minghao’s shoulder and leading him to the bedroom most of the members were in talking about the predicament they were in.

“Should I just quit?”

“What?!” Jun’s head snapped up, his eyes were wide in disbelief.

“I’m just saying that everything is more complicated because I’m part of the group.” Mari shrugged nonchalantly. “It’ll be better if it’s just the 13 of you, I shouldn’t have insisted on being a part of the group.”

“I can’t believe you just said that, Seventeen is a 14 member group we wont be the same without you.”

“Well what am I supposed to do?” Mari asked frustrated and finally it happened, after all this time, after all those months, tears started leaving her eyes, god knows how many times they gathered before she managed to push them away. Her voice rose in volume. “Jun-ah the guilt is eating me, I can’t keep pulling you guys down with me, I can’t do that! And I don’t want to.”

“You’re not.” Jun said firmly wanting to do nothing more than drill that into her head. “Just believe me, we don’t want you to leave, and you’re not pulling anyone down.”

“But I am.” She insisted, she jumped off the counter and started pacing around running her hand through her hair, pulling slightly at the roots. “What do I do? What can I do?”

“You wait, we all wait, wait a while and if you feel like this isn’t worth it then I’ll support you in whatever decision you make, but wait, let’s try to see this out.”

“I don’t know.” Mari states her lips quivering unsure if that’s the best corse of action, she starts bitting her bottom lip and pulls at her hair a little. Jun takes her hands gently from her hair and puts her hands around him, before he hugs her shoulders resting his head on top of hers.

“I know one thing, and that is I love you and leaving the group won’t do any one any good and just give satisfaction to all the haters.” Jun mumbled as her body shook with sobs, she was emotionally drained, Mari’s head is all over the place, what to choose? What to do? What’s best for her? What’s best for everyone? “Just wait until you’re 100% sure this is what you want with no doubt.”

“Oh-Kay.” She whimpers out and just hold him tighter.

The youngest three who were hiding to hear what they were saying were beyond happy, they almost shout in happiness, before they shushed each other. It’s a fear they all had, Mari leaving the group. She had worked so hard to become an idol and it isn’t fair to just drop everything and leave because some prissy people don’t like her in their group. She deserves being a part of the group as much as any of them.

Half an hour later Mari was in her bed ready to sleep, her bedroom which was once upon a time a closet, so having to access her room she had to go through one of the bedrooms, the one Doekyeom, Shua and Seungkwan had to share, when she made her way through the room the lights were off but no one was sleeping. “Goodnight.”

“Goodnight.”

“Night.”

Just as Mari got comfortable in her bed the door slid open and someone slipped in before closing the door.

“What is it?” Mari asked curious, she couldn’t see clearly, turning on the bed light, she could see Jeonghan slowly making his way towards her. Scooting over so she’s pressed up against the wall, leaving enough room for Hannie to sit down.

“Its okay, I just wanted to give you a hug.” Jeonghan said and placed a knee on her bed and leaned forward to bring in the younger girl. Mari didn’t have to think twice before she wrapped her arms around him. Comfort filling her senses.

“I love you, our baby.”

“I love you too Oppa.” She mumbles holding tightly onto him.

“Everything will be alright, so just hold on for a bit more, alright?” Keeping his voice low he told her still not letting go.

“Okay.” Was her simple response, Jeonghan kissed her temple before he pulled back with a smile.

“Get some rest, you need it.” Scoffing at his teasing tone and a roll of her eyes.

“Whatever, goodnight.” Jeonghan kisses her forehead before he gets off the bed.

“Goodnight.”

For the first time in a while Mari had 6 hours of sleep, not the 8 hours recommended for adults but close enough. More than she had hoped for thats for sure. Waking up rested Mari couldn’t be more thankful to her members. Now all she had to do is sway the public view of her and for that she needed her company’s opinion and approval. But nothing is going to stop her now. •───────•°•❀•°•───────•

When seven weeks after debut and things weren’t calming down, the next step was put into action and that is to push Mari at every variety show she can appear on, sometimes with other members but most of the time just by herself. Mari who was never camera shy, got along with everything. She tried to appear as friendly as she could, trying to appeal to the public. Telling jokes, doing challenges, retelling funny stories, dancing and singing. Mari is a part of the performance unit, she struggled in choosing between the performance and Vocal teams but when Jihoon chose vocal she chose performance.

She was made to show off her skills, as a guitarist, her flexibility everything. •───────•°•❀•°•───────•

In the end it did change the public view, not by much but she’s only been doing this for three months, she was told it’ll take time and she’s ready for it. Next year she’ll even be an MC for music bank, her schedule was set for a long time.

Mari did it all with a smile on her face, she’ll do anything to help her group and her public image, the long grilling hours will all make sense when she starts feeling the positive outcome, and the few positive comments here and there online made her look forwards to that.

All for achieving her dream and not pulling the boys down with her.

With the concert coming up, Hayun was doing some light stretches with Jun, while Hoshi, Wonwoo and Woozi got started with running through Light a flame’s choreography. The five of them had learned it the day before, and decided to clean up the performance first thing in the morning, in order to not forget it at once.

“I’m so tired” Hayun sighed, resting her head on the floor and closing her eyes while doing a butterfly stretch. Mimicking her pose, Jun laughed.

“Sleep is for the weak. You’re lucky we’re not rehearsing 'Hit' or something like that” He joked and moved around to do a low plank.

“Don’t underestimate the strength to pull off a subtle choreography” Throwing her hair over her shoulder, the girl leaned back and rested her arms behind her “It’s very hard being sexy”

“At least you’re aware of your weaknesses” Jun joked under his breath, making her slap his butt. Which, in consequence, led him to break from the plank.

“Are you two done procrastinating?” Hoshi caught their attention while clapping. Him, Wonwoo, Woozi and the dancers were already on their spots, just waiting for them.

Standing up in record time, Hayun pulled Jun’s sleeve, so the boy got caught behind her while she ran to the right placement. Huffing annoyed, he rolled his eyes at being the only one not in place, and quickly went to the sound system to press play on the song before joining the group.

Some members start arriving while the song is running and, one by one, they stand on the side watching the four practice their song.

“Very, very sexy” DK commented once the group stopped in the last pose. Staring at them with a straight face, he started mimicking the routine quite exaggerated, making Hayun laugh.

“I think it’s a little too sexy right now” Hoshi pondered out loud, looking reflexive. From the outside, Jeonghan butted in confused, “It fits the song well enough. What were you looking for?”

“Something more sensual, rather than sexy” The boy answered simply.

Frowning, Hayun leaned towards Wonwoo and whispered, “Don’t they mean the same?”

“Not sure”

“Sensual has a more classy tone to it, while sexy can be more out there” Woozi explained to her, since he also heard the question Hayun nodded for a second before frowning again.

Turning to Hoshi, she scoffed, “Did you just call our performance slutty?”

“There's nothing wrong with being slutty” Jun shrugged his shoulders while Hoshi grinned at them.

Finding them funny, he corrected himself, “I just mean I don’t think we’re setting the right tone to it”

“If that’s because I called you guys sexy, I want to make it clear that I meant it in the most respectful way possible” DK carefully added from Jun’s left and the older patted his head laughing.

“You might be getting this impression because we’re still getting used to the choreo. Once we’re doing it more naturally, it might look better” He said to the performance leader, and Wonwoo agreed “Yeah, give it two more rounds, and it’ll be fine”.

“Hyung, from the outside I think looked fine” Dino approached the group handing out water bottles and Hayun took her chance to trap him in a hug. Ignoring her, the boy continued, “It gave the same vibe as Good to me, if it means something”.

Whining, Soonyoung threw his head back, “Good to me was sexy. Light a flame is supposed to be sensual”.

“I still don’t think I get the difference” Hayun thought out loud, “Is one classier just because we’re not grinding on the floor?”

“Kind of” Woozi confirmed, adding a “But now that I’m thinking of it, I’m not sure the words differ that much from each other”

“Forget about definitions” Hoshi waved his arms around and grabbed her by the shoulder, looking like a couch giving his best athlete a pep talk “Just act more sharp and mysterious, and less look at me, I'm hot”

Looking offended, Hayun places a hand on her chest, “Are you saying the problem is me?”

“Yeah, Hayunnie, try to look less hot. You're making our Soonyoungie stressed” Jeonghan laughed and took a couple steps back to avoid getting slapped by her.

“Not what I was trying to say, but let's do it. Everyone back in place. Go. Go” Hoshi clapped and jumped into position. Putting his hands in his pocket, he lowered his head and started creating a scenario.

“Okay, everyone. Imagine we just walked into a new town and are going to a club. Nobody knows who we are there, but as this song comes up we want them to say ‘damn, I need to meet those five’”

Groaning and throwing her head back, Hayun breaks his thought process, “ALL THIS TIME YOU WANTED THE VIBE TO FEEL FLIRTY AND COULDN'T JUST SAY THAT?”

Who has Kessa dated?

Kessa has dated Aron of NU’EST. They met through Baekho and really hit it off. They only dated for about a year, 2017-2018. When they split it was amicable and nobody was seriously hurt by it. Some of the SVT members knew but not all of them. He happened to be a close contact of hers during her scandal in 2017 which brought them closer together. When she came back from hiatus, Aron had asked her out and the rest is history. Eventually they ended up realizing that they really liked their relationship the way it was before, as friends, so they decided to break up. They still talk from time to time. It is kind of awkward, but there is no bad blood between the two.

has already lost 10 years of his life just from worrying about you

loses 5 more when he has to accompany you to the hospital because of your broken leg

he tried to save the lecture until after he knows you’re okay, but he can’t help it when the leader in him comes out

the conversation *cough* reprimand *cough* lasts for the whole car journey and by the time you’ve got the the hospital, you’d already been blocking it out for 10 minutes

“you need to be more careful,” he said as he wrapped his arm around your shoulders. he might be frustrated, but he still wanted to show you he cared. “it might be a broken leg this time but who knows what it’ll be next time!”

at the end of the day he just cares about you too much to see you hurt

if it isn’t bad, he’ll just tease you about how clumsy you are

probably still teases you if it is bad, but when you start tearing up because of how much it hurts, will immediately stop

causes hell just to make sure you’re getting the best treatment possible because he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he didn’t make you were were as comfortable as possible

eventually calms down when you assure him you’re fine and you feel perfectly alright with what you’d been given

eventually lands on his usual method of doing stupid shit just to get the tiniest smile out of you while you wait for anyone else to come and do the important part of patching you up

“keep your hand there,” he tells you as he lets go of your wrist and steps away from you, “get ready to feel better.”

100% does that silly little dance of his which has you cry laughing instead of just regular crying

you almost forget how much it hurts and shua considers his job done!

kind of clueless on what to do when you go to him with a bloody nose and tell him you got hit in the face playing foot volleyball

sits you down on the sofa whilst he frantically google’s how to stop nose bleeds

asks you to go and grab tissues before realising that you’re the one he’s supposed to be helping and goes to get them himself

winces a bit when he gets blood on his hands but remembers that he’s doing it for you and the grossness of it goes away pretty quickly

tries to talk you through the pain, letting you know about what he’s been doing with his day and what he’s planning to do later

“and then you came in to talk to me and i think that’s it,” he finished up recounting every second of his day as he switched the tissue for a clean one, “and then later i’m going to head to the practice rooms to-”

definitely forgets about your injury once the bleeding has stopped and boops you on the nose only to profusely apologise when you wince in pain

if you could run away with a sprained ankle, you definitely should because hoshi will turn up his clinginess by about 80% the moment he hears that you have an injury

will not let you out of his sight until he knows you’re okay again

unfortunately for you that means you have a permanent body guard telling you what you can and can’t do which gets very old very fast

you cant even hide from him because god knows he will seek you out and yell at you for walking on your bad ankle too much

might be overbearing but in reality he just wants you to get better as quickly as possible because it makes him sad to see you in pain

“sit down and let me do it,” hoshi shouted as he noticed you trying to get a bowl of cereal for yourself, “and you wonder why i like to keep an eye on you…”

you eventually give into the clinginess in the hopes that he’ll get bored after a while… he doesn’t…

jeon wonwoo

freezes when he spots you crying and holding your wrist in front of the stove

literally does not know what to do in this situation because he usually palms it off onto one of his other members

but he’s the only one around and you’ve just been burnt and desperately need someone to help

so he walks over to you and drags you to the sink with your good wrist, all whilst muttering complaints about how you need to be more careful

strokes your hair when you’re running your wrist under the cold water to try and soothe you just a little

“you’re okay, y/n,” he whispers, pressing a kiss to your hairline, “i know it hurts but the longer you hold it under the water, the less it’ll hurt in the long run.”

passes you along to the next member that comes along but will check up on you every few minutes just to make sure you’re okay

lee jihoon

his first response is always ‘go find seungcheol’ when you go to him with an injury, but sometimes he’s the only one around and you look so upset and fuck… he’ll have to deal with this

very methodical about it - asks you what’s wrong, finds out what he needs to do, does it

he’ll try and hide his smile as you tell him about what stupid thing you were doing that got you hurt this time, but tries to hide it because at the end of the day, you’re still injured

usually shuffles in close whilst he’s bandaging you up just so you can lean on him in it gets too painful at any point

he refuses to complain about you leaning on him when you’re hurt because how can he deny you physical affection when it’s obviously making you feel better

in reality he just has a soft spot for you and uses you being hurt as an excuse to let you hug him with no complaints

“there we go, kid,” he rubs your arm affectionately, “all patched up…”

lee seokmin

panics because oh god his kid is hurt and he doesn’t know what to do and WHERE IS SEUNGCHEOL

will sit down and hold you close while he rings around the members to try and find one to come and help

he claims the cuddling is to help soothe, but you both know it’s so he can calm himself down more than anything

eventually gets ahold of another member and begs them to come home and help

breathes a sigh of relief when they agree; now his only job is making sure you’re calm and comfortable and nothing hurts too much

cue seokmin literally becoming your butler for the next 20 minutes whilst you wait for someone else to get home because he needs to make sure that you have everything you need

“do you need more tea?” he asks as you take the final sip. not even a second passes before the mug is taken from you and more tea is poured. “i’ll get you some more, just so you have it if you want it, okay?”

kim mingyu

tries his hardest to help but he can’t help but gag when you tell him about how you trapped you fingers in the car door

doesn’t know what to do so he literally wraps up your whole hand in gauze and calls it a day - it’s someone else’s problem now

spends more time trying to cheer you up than he actually does helping with your injury because at least he knows how to make you smile

tells you bad jokes until you can’t breathe from laughter and you’re begging him to stop

he stops but only so you can get your breath back, and then he starts again because laughter is clearly a great pain killer

“if it’s more jokes you want then it’s more jokes i have, pipsqueek,” mingyu smiled at you as you frantically shook your head, “no more jokes? well that’s boring… how about this one? why did the old man-”

continues until someone more qualified to deal with your gross injury gets home

xu minghao

doesn’t lecture you in the same way seungcheol does, but definitely gives you a speech about how you shouldn’t be putting yourself in dangerous situations

rolls his eyes at you when you try and pass the blame onto another member who you claimed to be your ‘partner in crime’ because he knows it was definitely just your own clumsiness

still tries his hardest to help clean up the scratch on your face that you got from who knows what - minghao had zoned out part way through your convoluted story

lets you squeeze his hand if the antiseptic makes your scratch hurt too much

even let’s you pick out a cute bandaid to put over it just because he knows it’ll cheer you up

“if your stylist gets mad at you, don’t come crying to me,” he grumbles as he presses a kind kiss to the bandaid, “it’s your own fault, no one else’s.”

tells you to be careful before you go running off to cause more trouble

boo seungkwan

very much an ‘i told you this would happen’ kind of person, even if he had not ‘told you so’ like he says he did

will roll his eyes when you get brought back to the dorms with a cast on your wrist, but is the first to help you carry your stuff inside

yells at you if you even think about lifting a finger but complains about how you’re making him do everything for you

you always tell him if it’s that much trouble you’ll do it yourself, but he’ll just glare at you and tell you to stop talking nonsense

threatens to tell seungcheol whenever he catches you with your arm out of your sling

would actually go through with it if he thought you were doing any real damage to your arm

“the doctor wouldn’t like you doing that, you know,” he muttered as he watched you stretch out your aching limb, “neither would seungcheol…”

choi hansol

vernon knows that if you go to him with an injury, you have exhausted literally every other option you have

literally clueless about what to do when you walk up to him with a black eye because you ran into a glass door

google is his best friend as he frantically searches how to reduce bruising

has no qualms with sending you to retrieve your own ice pack from the freezer as he does some more googling…

won’t do much to try and cheer you up other than putting on a movie and grabbing snacks for the two of you to share

doesn’t complain about holding your ice pack in place when you fall asleep on his shoulder… after all, it just means more snacks for him

falls asleep himself before the film is over and your ice pack ends up on the floor… so much for trying to reduce the bruising

lee chan

probably his fault you were injured in the first place so he makes you promise that if he helps then you won’t tell any of the older members

you only agree to the deal when he offers to buy you a meal as well as helping you clean and bandage the cuts on your knees from where he tripped you

he honestly tries his hardest to help, partly because he feels bad and partly because he doesn’t want to face anyone’s wrath when they find out he’s the reason you’re injured

tries is the main word, though, as he ends up having to get help from someone else anyway

he chooses the least likely member to get him in trouble and together him and mingyu puzzle over what to do about your knees

you eventually end up guiding them through the process of cleaning them and then wiping them down with antiseptic before bandaging them

“do you think i did a good job?” he asks once the bandages were secured over the grazes. you glared at him. “fine, a good enough job for you to not tell on me…”

( 🪷 ) MICHA'S RELATIONSHIP'S OUTIDE OF SVT

¹ KIM OK-HWA :

having spent most of their lives by each other's sides, these two are as close as can be

ok-hwa is an honourary kwak family member just as mi-cha is an honourary kim family member

the relationship between these two range from being calm and supportive or chaotic and mean — fans often witness these two bullying each other on instagram or on their shared live streams

with ok-hwa being from a different company (ist entertainment) she is the primary source behind quite a few of mi-cha's idol friends — having met both the dead:alive girls alongside the boyz

there have been multiple rumours about them supposedly dating since they're so physically and emotionally close to each other (both in private and in front of the camera) however it is strictly platonic between the two

² JEON SOYEON :

this friendship is one that blossomed beneath many people's noses

after (g)i-dle's recent comeback, mi-cha had gathered enough courage to reach out to the girl and attempt to be friends

what started as pure respect from one female rapper/producer to another, blossomed into a beautiful new friendship

other than small mentions of the other in either their live streams or their promotional variety shows and interviews, these girls have yet to hang out in person

there's been a small discussion going on between the two about a solo collab between the two of them

³ DEAD:ALIVE :

the girls had met mi-cha through ok-hwa, and due to the girl's close friendship, they were able to meet and hang out with mi-cha quite a lot

near the start of their debut, mi-cha joined ok-hwa with the permission of both the companies to mentor the girls in a sense or help them adjust to the transition from trainee to idol

similar to soyeon, mi-cha naturally gravitated towards tsuki and youngmi since both of the girls are the main rappers of their group, so while ok-hwa works with the main vocals and dancers, mi-cha guides and tries to pass on her wisdom on both writing, technique, and ideas

while she's never said it outwardly to anyone, it's evident to those that know mi-cha that the dead:alive girls (again tsuki and youngmi focused) are her favourite dounsaeng's

mi-cha has lyrical credits on some of the dead:alive songs

⁴ CHOI YEONJUN :

this man may be one of mi-cha's favourite men on the planet

since they're both a part of the 99' line (a group of idols that dino is stringing together with inspiration from jungkook) these two (plus dino) are the 99' trio of hybe

basically, since his debut, yeonjun has been close to mi-cha — this duo has been seen together quite a few times now (breakfast, shopping, schedules, etc.)

their relationship is flirty and teasing, yet platonic — yeonjun loves to tease mi-cha about her height, often bringing up how they're the same age and yet he towers over her

any tiktok challenge you can think of, yeonjun and mi-cha have probably done it together

⁵ THE BOYZ :

now this friendship is a bit of an odd one — mi-cha is close with a small handful of the members (mainly the hyung line) but she considers all of them her friends

sunwoo and eric endlessly flirt with the girl (which proves to be fruitless since she has her eyes on someone already)

chanhee is mi-cha's go-to besides ok-hwa for any realistic advice since she knows he tells the truth no matter how much it hurts to hear it

juyeon and hyunjae are the closest to the girl out of all of the boys — close enough to talk on the daily, and publically open with their friendship, often times gravitating to each other during award shows or events

there may be a little something between her and one of the members, but that conversation is for another time ;)

⁶ ATEEZ 99' LINE :

these boys were mi-cha's chosen members of the 99' line group since dino got to choose quite a few of the people they strung together

being another recently developed friendship, yunho, yeosang, san, mingi, and wooyoung initially made contact with mi-cha after she guest-starred as a judge on immortal songs in december of 2021

wooyoung and san inevitably led the charge to introduce themselves to mi-cha, but yet again, what had drawn her into the group was their talent in both dance and rap (she's a rapper and a rap lover, what can she say)

while she adores mingi (her favourite tall rapper — besides mingyu and wonwoo of course) his height alongside yunho's scares her beyond belief

another friendship that is technically open to the public, yet for the most part overlooked
