I’m not at all confident that this was intentional, but I recently saw this photo of Robin Williams, and his necklace made me do a double take. Easy to pass off as nothing, but then I remembered that this movie is literally called THE BIRDCAGE.

And it’s a movie where Robin Williams’ character has to hide his sexuality from his son’s ultra-conservative Republican in-laws. He pretends to be straight to avoid creating a political scandal for this dude who founded the “Coalition for Moral Order.” If it’s a coincidence, it is honestly so apt.
