My Deathless Demon, The Commander, Myla Lynzal, below the cut. Needed to improvise a bit in the Dress-up Game, but I think it fits close enough to what the book describes!

Obviously, that was during her more... fancy days.

She tries so hard to be kind. She tries, really tries to just keep peace. To not bother anyone. To not mess up anyone else's life but her own.

But life's a bitch.

Inside, she's part a scared child, part a raging demon, and when she's not either of that, she's just an empty void.

She's tired. Very tired. If she could have died in the cell, she would have been alright with it.

She cares, but she's bad at expressing it. Took the deal. She doesn't care about herself. If she's the villian, fine. Just make it less painful to be.
