I'm gonna be honest with y'all. I bought these before I made my post saying "50 notes and I'll buy these." And I was gonna review them regardless of how may notes it got.
They arrived in the mail today and I had some Gladiolas to plant, so that was pretty perfect! In terms of garden use, they're great!! It's like using a garden rake but you have the mobility of your fingers. Scooping and digging were really easy, and the fingers are big enough that it's easy to poke holes with. Personally I enjoy using my bare (Or should I say...bear) hands to garden. The grainy texture of garden gloves invokes The Ick ™. However, the material of these was breathable and didn't feel scratchy. I was also happy to notice that the dirt doesn't get stuck under the claws, it just falls off after you pat your hands together a bit.
As a garden tool: 8/10
For the claw feels...oh man....I adore these gloves! The feeling of claws against dirt and grass was soooooo euphoric! Watching myself dig up dirt with my claws made me so happy.
As therian gear: 10/10
@butterfly-sapphire asked to be tagged in this, so here you go!
sometimes i think me being a therian came out of nowhere but then i remember i literally owned a dog chew toy as a kid and would play with it like a dog
for context i never had a dog i just bought the toy cus i wanted to LOL
does anyone else feel like they can't see themselves identifying with the identity they currently identify with in the future? like i can't see myself being an adult therian or an adult who uses neopronouns and not that i want to "change" but it's probably because i was pushed to think that these things are childish stuff and i will grow out of it. /srs
You can run faster than any other land animal! In short bursts, you can reach speeds of 70 miles per hour (112 kilometers per hour). That's almost as fast as a car!
You have special spots on your back and tail that help you steer and change direction quickly during a chase. Just like having cheetah grip on your turns!
Unlike most big cats, you can't roar. But you can chirp, purr, and even meow! Maybe you're practicing your roar for when you grow up?
I got into a very traumatic car crash today. After getting home late from the hospital I’m lying in bed. In the distance, I can hear wolves start howling.
It’s like they’re saying,
“Welcome home. You’re safe.”
And honestly, I haven’t stopped crying for ten minutes.
Therian culture is absolutly hating the societly norms of sitting on chairs and couchs upright and not curled up on the edge or arm to take a cozy nap.
I feel personally wronged by the fact my body language is so limited. No pointy ears to flatten. No tail to wag. No hackles to raise. No sharp teeth to bare.
