This Is How I Disappear and The Sharpest Lives are sister-songs, they’re about the same character of The Black Parade as they go from being obsessed with a loved one and succumb to addiction.

Disappear is about them being left by someone they love possibly because of their addiction and they beg for their lover’s forgiveness before giving in fully to their addiction. The first verse

“To un-explain the unforgivable

Drain all the blood and give the kids a show

By streetlight this dark night

A séance down below

There're things that I have done

You never should ever know”

implies they’re a musician or a performer in some way, and partake in things they aren’t proud of and try to hide. They have to “drain all the blood and give the kids a show,” a metaphor for believing they are only able to give a performance worth anything when intoxicated, mirroring Gerard’s life pre-sobriety.

The second verse

“Who walks among the famous living dead

Drowns all the boys and girls inside your bed

And if you could talk to me

Tell me if it's so

That all the good girls go to heaven

Well, heaven knows”

is them mourning their relationship and themself as their addiction take more and more of a hold on them. In this low they’re at, they sleep around (the boys and girls inside your bed line), and they’re aware they’re losing more and more control over themself and could be close to killing themself (“tell me if it’s so that all the good girls go to heaven?”)

The chorus

“And without you is how I disappear

And live my life alone forever now

And without you is how I disappear

And live my life alone forever now”

is them begging their lover to stay, demonstrating their obsession and beg them to stay with them, almost guilt-tripping them.

In the bridge/third verse (?)

“Can you hear me cry out to you?

Words I thought I'd choke on figure out

I'm really not so with you anymore

I'm just a ghost

So I can't hurt you anymore

And now, you wanna see how far down I can sink?

Let me go, fuck

So, you can, well now so, you can

I'm so far away from you

Well now so, you can”

they beg for their lover to stay and forgive them (“can you hear me…”) and recognizing they’re not who they used to be (“Im really not so with you anymore”), only to flip on them and go from one extreme to another, breaking down and leaving their lover (“so I can’t hurt you anymore,” “you wanna see how far down I can sink? Fuck!”)

The chorus after this reflects this as well, repeating over and over in a much darker tone (musically and vocally) “And without you is how I disappear, and without you is how I disappear.” The last chorus omits the “and live my life alone” because they can’t guilt-trip their lover anymore since they’ve pushed their lover away completely, and can no longer keep their addiction at bay.

In The Sharpest Lives, they fall deeper and deeper into their addiction, which is what caused them to join The Black Parade.

In the first part

“Well it rains and it pours when you're out on your own

If I crash on the couch, can I sleep in my clothes

'Cause I spent the night dancing, I'm drunk I suppose

If it looks like I'm laughing

I'm really just asking to leave this alone

You're in time for the show

You're the one that I need

I'm the one that you loathe

You can watch me corrode

Like a beast in repose

'Cause I love all the poison away with the boys in the band

I've really been on a bender and it shows

it’s demonstrated how their self control is slipping away, as they spend their time out and self destructing (they literally say they’re on a bender.) They beg for any affection they can (“you’re the one that I need, I’m the one that you loathe,”) and use sex to get their “poison” (using the word poison to reference drugs reminds me of the alcoholism metaphor in Vampires), and disregard everything else.

The chorus

“Give me a shot to remember

And you can take all the pain away from me

Your kiss and I will surrender

The sharpest lives are the deadliest to lead

A light to burn all the empires

So bright the sun is ashamed to rise and be

In love with all of these vampires

So you can leave like the sane, abandon me”

furthers the point of the narrator being left and abandoned/having pushed away everyone who loves them to delve deeper and deeper into their addiction. It also has another connection to Vampires Will Never Hurt You with the narrator falling “in love with all of these vampires” or people who are helping fuel and enable their addiction.

“There's a place in the dark where the animals go

You can take off your skin in the cannibal glow

Juliet loves the beat and the lust it commands

Drop the dagger and lather the blood on your hands, Romeo”

This part illustrates how deep and how much their addiction has progressed and affects them, becoming almost animalistic. The Romeo and Juliet part shows how corrupted their sense of love has become, going back to them using their body and sex to further their own corruption.

The song ends with the chorus repeating, ultimately ending with the words “abandon me,” concluding their story with their addiction controlling their life to the point of welcoming their loneliness if it means they can remain intoxicated. Musically, the song also ends with the guitar progressively slowing down, much like a heart beat slows as you die, implying that the narrator overdoses and dies alone or “abandoned.”

brnine is already absolutely knocking me out this season. the fact that they've become the captain of a ship and genuinely want to take care of their crew and show that millennium break is a force for good contrasts so deeply with their still-existing horrible ability to connect with people and their deep, deep desire to have that connection.

in a lot of ways their position is them trying to keep valence's memory alive, right? brnine is doing things they think valence would be proud of, because brnine is still a very transactional person. "i come with you to fort icebreaker so you get me a spaceship" has turned into "i spend my life trying to do what i think you would do and prove i was worthy of your affection because that's a fair exchange for what you did for me." and they are so, so desperate to prove this to...anyone?? we find out in this episode that they're even trying to prove themself to thisbe even though thisbe literally does not function that way- brnine is never going to need prove anything to her, thisbe does not care, but brnine just wants to show to someone they are living up to their new ideals, that they are Good Now.

and what really kills me is asepsis seems to have basically figured this out. it stopped working when there was a spy on the ship, and when brnine caught the spy, brnine presumably thought "yes, i have figured out how to read asepsis' actions and caught the spy! i am a good captain with a good grasp on my divine." but asepsis is the one running the situation there. it's training brnine to do things for it (ie. remove enemies from the ship) and making them think they're doing a good job by doing so. it's fulfilling brnine's need to get a little pat on the head!!

there's a scene early in partizan, when sbbr is on the isles of logos, where brnine sees avar and ryrira and their kid and gets all upset about the fact that they don't get a house and a family and a Normal Life. brnine has always been obsessed with whatever they think is being a "good person" who "lives well" and they are so eager to believe that what they are doing now is just that and so eager for other people to see it. and im excited for when asepsis or some other person/force/etc takes advantage of that and walks brnine right off a cliff

Jamil, unlike the other two, does NOT understand fandom culture at all.

He has seen Idia once or twice muttering about idols or manga but he personally does not understand the obsession behind it. I can see him being the kind of guy to enjoy reading as a solitary hobby, but that's it.

That means, he doesn't know about shipping.

But Jamil knows you DO know about this stuff, and he'll let you info-dump about whatever you want.

He has seen you making fanart once or twice, and he really does love looking at your drawings!

But, every time he asks if he can see your whole sketchbook, you say no — and he doesn't understand why.

He lets you be… At first, since he likes his privacy a lot. But… Jamil can't help but feel a tiiiny bit curious.

His master plan to see what you hide is that whenever you show him some of your art, he'll ask you to search for another drawing you made before. In hopes that whatever you're hiding will appear "accidentally".

12. If your OC was arrested, what would the charges be?

well most of my whumpers would have a harder time figuring out what they wouldn't be charged with or are very obvious (like how The Doctor would probably be charged with medical malpractice, first degree murder, assault, and such) so i think it would be interesting to figure out what my whumpees would be charged with!

Auden is such an innocent little bean, it's hard to imagine him being the cause of anything illegal. I guess I could see him being clumsy enough to kill someone or commit arson, though. What would truly be on brand for him is to be a knowing/unknowing accomplice in someone else's crimes. He can be so trusting and naive, but he also has a strong sense of justice and an acute knowledge of the rules and laws, so while it would be hard to convince him to something illegal through peer pressure or blackmail, it is much easier to manipulate him into thinking you're the good guy and are doing a good thing in reality. You might just be able to sugarcoat it thoroughly enough that he just assumes he is in the wrong and what you two are doing isn't a crime, it's justice!

Mori is also an accomplice, but a knowing one. They are known to be incredibly submissive, something that Grim has mocked them for briefly. They will know fully well that what they're doing is not only illegal, but wrong and hurtful and immoral, but they are too cowardly to do anything but what they are told. They have carried out numerous murders, thievery, they have taken the blame for so many things they didn't truly do, they even took part in torture and other unspeakable things they are not proud of. They are like the most pathetic mafia member. All it takes is a single threatening presence and they will do absolutely anything asked of them, and they will feel awful about it, but not enough to sacrifice themself in exchange. So if they were ever caught and brought to court, they would also find it hard to list every charge one by one. They may look innocent, but they are just as dangerous on some levels as their owners!

Lark Liveblogs Literature episode 3: Six of Crows duology

As we did with Harry Potter, Shadow & Bone Trilogy, and will be doing with The Mortal Instruments when I get back around to them I am liveblogging my reactions to Six of Crows.

What I know prior:

- We’ve got a guy named Kaz, he’s got a cane. My younger sister tells me I’ll adore him so I trust her judgement.

- There’s also a guy named Jesper, who one of my mates stole the name from for a water genasi. He’s queer??

- we also have someone named Wylen. My sister loves him a lot and tells me I will also love him though I am sceptical.

1.) Six of Crows (5/4/23— 10/4/23)

Right off the bat, I really love Inej! Her perspective is really lovely and her affection (/p) for Kaz is very clear from the get-go. It’s so juicy to meet our main protagonist from the perspective of an admirer and NOT themself. I’m obsessed with that.

I’m very respectfully in love with Kaz and did not say I’d makeout with him in the groupchat in front of god and everyone. No, sir. I am the most normal about Kaz Brekker.

Moving on from my goof, I really love Kaz just as a character. Having a disabled protagonist, much less one that’s Top Dog and very clearly feared and respected by his peers is SO GOOD. And quite honestly I think he’s the first disabled protag I’ve seen that wasn’t like, pity porn or magically nullified (at least in books. Love you Toph of Avatar fame). So if anyone has good reccs of other disabled protag books, drop ‘em. I’d love to read more.

OH I LIED ACTUALLY I READ STORMRUNNER!! I just didn’t get a chance to finish that series entirely so sorry I forgot about that. Love him SO MUCH. he and Kaz are my besties.

Also the Banter!!! I’m not even a hundred pages in but the banter in Six of Crows is SO much better than Shadow & Bone. Bardugo has really grown as an author between these two series and it shows. The characters feel much more solid in this. Whereas Shadow & Bone’s characters (minus like, Alina, Nikolai, and Mal) felt extremely 2D at times (in my opinion) and I can see layers to Jesper, Inej, and Kaz right off the bat.

So im studying chemistry for almost five years (four years at specialized high school and now im studying biochemistry)

Five years to get accustomed to spirits. For as long as he knew Mob, he also never knew how to be wary in those situations. When he spent time with Plum, it was pretty much a non-existent issue as well, though that might have just been incredible luck. With everything going on in his life, he had everything going for him in terms of ghost protection!

Spirits and money weren't similar in the least, though he dealt with spirits to get money. Mostly into his own pockets.

"Haa...I'm screwed." It was crunch time on sorting those bills and he was sure no one could help him now! Most of the people he knew were middleschoolers after all, what could they know about the monthly dues?! Teru, maybe? That was just sad to think about though, that the kid lived alone and that he probably COULD teach Reigen a thing or two about finances..

Reigen was currently obsessed with scrolling up and down the spreadsheet. Sure, he wouldn't suddenly detect the expenses that set him behind, or find anything meaningful of that matter, but he'd only think about it anyways even if he stepped away from his laptop. Take a break.. He really should back away from the screen.. Geez, now his phone was ringing!

Complain as he might in his own mind, Reigen cradled his mobile to his ear, like it would offer him any solace when the client or whoever on the line probably couldn't care less about the conman's battle.

"Hello hello, you've reached Spirits and Such."

"Reigen?"

The familiar voice. Not to mention, the fact that he had them saved as a contact on his personal/business phone. That's what happened when his mind was grogged down and occupied with important financial stuff!

"Ah, Plum. Sorry, my mind's stuck in business mode. Though I'm sure that's not a problem if you're—calling about business?" His raised brow conveyed over phone. He warranted a guess that that wasn't the case, but made Plum enthusiastically explain themself nonetheless.

So it was a pleasant call. Normally he kept calls and texts short. To the point and that was it. Who wouldn't prefer to talk in person: he thought that especially as the man who'd gotten his student to type out his autobiography. And yet, he found himself relaxing within their causal chatter. Plum was a calming person...

However, they seemed used to Reigen's mannerisms, just as suddenly announcing that they would be letting him get back to his work—

"Wait!.....uh.... Well, everything IS alright, but-except uh something came up JUST NOW, and I guess I'm a little stressed over it. It happens in this business.

"Ghost bills. The dead haunt even the banks, demanding their credit from the innocent..

"So because of that, there's less funds than I thought to put into rent, for my own housing and the office. I've cut basically every other cost in my life, it's just...

"No. No. I'm not that upset, it ultimately wasn't important in the end! I'd be honest with you if it really mattered," Reigen bashfully promised, and it felt strange, a fragment of admitting his growing trust towards Plum planted in there, and honesty was the seed to a healthy relationship wasn't it? He was flustering himself at that point.

Much longer than he'd have the heart to review later, via service charge, and Plum had gotten more out of him concerning what was actually wrong.

"You're prices aren't so good," they said in conclusion.

And that was the politest yet most vicious attack on how he ran Spirits and Such.

"You can charge more for your work...and that would mean you can afford to use more money for personal expenses. Aren't you proud of your work, Reigen?"

He could argue the first bit—changing his fees. But not the second, THAT held a deeper meaning, this business that only continued in due respect to the people that came into his life because of it. "I really am. I–" and suddenly he was choked up on what more to say, about the negative side he could come up with, or perhaps it was about the feeling of his worries being cleaned out, no longer a dark mass sitting and spilling all over his thoughts. Strange. Safe, from his own compiled stress, even to have shared it was something new that offered a foreign relief. And over phone? He didn't like that part but could hardly complain when he felt too happy to. Come back as it may, Reigen still felt so comfortable in the moment.

OK SO read the tags so you understand why im putting all this information about them i thuoght of here haha

anyways some things i thought of (also on another note please mention things about hte chubby character i could do better on..! i should learn how to draw chubbier characters so then its easier haha)

basically. this is about hte ghosts but the 2 guys there are a couple one’s more easily tired (and he’s in another oc drawing he used to be a scientist but the lady he was working for was obsessed with glowing things and it started becoming uncomfortable when she began making herself glow in the dark) and the other’s just completely amazed by these ghosts a majority of the time hes very happy (you can also see how i dont have many short hairstyles on my brain i should’ve looked up hairstyles like i did t shirts)

about the ghosts

they can possess things yeah!! and the 3 in the picture who did like that form more than their own ghostly forms . the purple one made that themself! theyre very proud of it :-)

and the other more human like ghosts. those stories. the married couple were newly weds from a long while ago, like maybe a couple decades or so? who knows, not me, and they were staying over at the house for a honeymoon ? i cant decide between that or them owning the house. i havent decided how they died but im considering saying the other house they were in (or some kind of bar? wherever) got burned down and they died there or they died by MURDER IN THE HOUSE

also the living couple take care of the ghosts i like to think the dead married couple were like “wow ! we cant take care of these ourselves uhhh”

and the living were ghost hunters maybe. dont quite know that yet. might not know ever depending on how much you guys want me to keep thinking about them

that crying ghost is very easily scared and probably scared of ghosts. that really sucks doesnt it. anyways theyre always hanging around the chubbier guy because they think he can protect them

then that last guy who is a ghost and bleeding died recently ! he got his head cut off if you cant tell.

the reason why he’s the only one with actual wounds showing is because he died recently and as you continue being a ghost, your wounds slowly heal and you look more monochrome like the other ghosts. that can take at the least... like 5 years to fully finish . after a while you have no clothes . the ghost whos scared of ghosts has been dead for over 100 years.

i was considering drawing the ghosts as their living versions but idk how much y’all like these so that can be what motivates me enough to do that (it makes me think of when i was around 10 i had 2 ghost fox ocs because i couldnt draw people. well look at what being into musicals has taught me haha)

Past Days

An awoken warlock sat alone in her ship, staring numbly out into the vastness of space, the empty black surrounding her did little to comfort the Dawnblade. Her face was slack and tears stung at her eyes, threatening to spill over and pour down her cheeks as she replayed the events that had just transpired in the tower but mere minutes ago. Before she had left its hangar for the last time, She had been exiled. Zavala had deemed her interest and research into the Taken to similar to what had happened to warlocks before her, Osiris and Toland, she was considered a liability and a threat to the tower.

She could still hardly believe it, her team had been out on a strike and her mentor Ikora had been doing business elsewhere. She had been told to leave, to never return and to take her studies elsewhere lest she endager the city and everything Zavala stood for. She shook her head, finally rising from her stupor as she pulled open a picture, It was of her with Ikora, Mephis the Exo Sunbreaker, Echo-4 The Exo Nightstalker, Virra Sin The Awoken Gunslinger, all of them her friends, her family, her fireteam. She almost raised another window, a familiar chat window, many years old and overflowing with conversation logs. No, she wouldnt send a message, not now, not yet. How could she when she knew they would follow her away, they were better off in the towers safety.

"Telma, I, Im sorry." Storm Chasers voice cuts through the silence, somber and quiet even as they watch their guardian close the digital window and right herself in her seat, as she wiped away at her budding tears and readied her ship for flight once more no destination in mind for now. They knew their guardian would tell them to not blame themself for this, that she was stubborn and wouldnt listen no matter how much they pestered her to change. They couldnt help it though, how couldnt they when they were meant to help their guardian? Not let them be exiled.

A bitter laugh escapes her throat as the ship begins to move, flying away from the earth for now. Hands clasped in a white knuckle grip as she shakily steers the craft away from her home, from her friends, from her, former city. "Perhaps I should have listened to you Storm chaser, maybe if I had I wouldnt have been so obsessed, wouldnt have gotten exiled. Yet here we are, flying aimlessly for now."

She flew for hours, ignoring the message pings that popped up after some time had passed, she knew what they said without having to look, the questions that were being asked, and she gave a thin smile pleased to know they cared at the least, still that was her past now, she couldn't go back and woulnt even if given the choice. She would be proud of herself even if the tower wouldn't be. That thought in mind she turned around, heading back to the earth but not back to the tower.

As she flies her mind wanders, to her life at the tower, the journey shes made to this point, the highs and the lows. From when she and her team had infiltrated and destroyed the black garden on Mars, to the loss of her light during the read war. The tears fell silently as she lost herself in the memories for a time, she would continue on. If not for the tower then for her fireteam, For her closest friends.

alfred would be such a fun dad, such an enthusiastic parent?? anon ily this is the ask i never knew i needed

okok first of all we all KNOW alfred is freaking when the baby’s on the way. he’s got his years long list of things babies need, the crap ton of baby paraphernalia he purchased last minute, SO MANY tabs open on taking care of babies but he’s gonna deny it if u point it out or laugh and be like yeah yeah ofc! duh did u think i was going to be irresponsible or smth?

when the baby comes he is a sleep deprived zombie but also wow he’s a dad?? he’s a dad!!! he’ll make sure he raises up kids to love themselves n do gr9 things bc he knows this is a real n srs responsibility

alfred’s kind of take things as they come which doesn’t mean he’s never prepared for things- he’s got the college savings funds set up, all the big things- but things are… not super rigid and scheduled if it’s up to him

and life lessons? “oh boi u didn’t know u can’t just run thru the street when the walk sign is red? that’s fine! see, u go when the little light turns into the glowing person- yup! see, ur good at this!” u learn ‘em as they come which can be.. good? alfred’s good at explainin things in a fun way but it’s also… bad sometimes as im sure u can imagine

he’s an actually fun dad. like he’s goofy af and makes all the dad jokes but he’s actually p fun u prbly wouldn’t be overtly embarrassed if he shows up in front of ur friends tho honestly he’d prbly be not the one to super be trying to talk to his kids’ friends

HE SUPPORtS them in their hobbies? alfred’s the one who tries his best to pick up the hobbies his kids do and read up on them to 1. properly help them pursue it 2. to be able to talk w them abt it

alfred’s p chill he’ll give them their space when they need it n he won’t force them into activities or things they hate bc hey there’s so much else to do n life’s too short to hate any part of it

the kids would be included in family discussions! they deserve to have independence, free will and ideas of their own. alfred highly values these things n would defo make sure his kids grew up to be capable, independent, innovative adults

lots of active stuff! alfred loves camping n national parks. the kids would get a lot of time in nature

he’s enthusiastic, he’s proud of his kids, he loves them lots it’s just he’s not super good abt expressing it?? prbly not as much as he should at least? like “oh oh u want.. affirmation/affection? haha yeah ur gr8, champ im sure yk that”

ya boi will be at a loss if his kid is like dad i have no friends idk what to do bc alfred’s prbly going to be out here like shoot that’s a mood

ok he can talk abt emotional stuff n be surprisingly reassuring/insightful/comforting but it takes a lvl 10 distress call before he realizes that’s necessary. otherwise he’s like ofc i care abt u which should be obvious in my actions so he doesn’t see a particular need for gushing affectionately towards his kiddos or talking thru w his kid abt how they feel insecure on an emotional level bc it doesn’t seem like a huge deal to him since a logical talk thru it should be enough right? aka he cant handle emotion talks lskdjf esp if it’s brought up casually

however he is v good at observing lil changes n he’ll pick up on it if his kids need some extra guidance (as long as it’s not emotional LOL)

al’s going to give them the freedom to do what they want, the support/assistance needed to do it and the encouragement to pursue their passions as an independent person who thinks for themself bc for him that is so so important

AH I didn’t realize until after I finished, but I made the pronouns gender neutral out of habit… It’s too late to fix now, so I hope you won’t mind? I’m sorry aaaa !! I hope you still enjoy these ;;;

Leo:

They’re constantly having to remind him about their past as an idol whenever he seems confused. He seems to always forget; but the moment he’s reminded, Leo is the proudest boy in the world! He’ll watch old videos of you, and usually uses it for inspiration. He likes to play dress up with you, too, asking you to wear various idol outfits. Pretty much anything that pops into his head! He’s unpredictable.

His s/o can sing? That’s it, he’s sold. He already gets most of his inspiration from them, but now he can compose songs that they could possibly sing? He’s!! So Excited!!

Leo specializes in improv dance, mostly because he has trouble remembering set choreography. Since that’s the case, he takes advantage of his s/o’s past as an idol. They end up having to teach him his own choreography over and over; usually with him running into them on accident, or start improving his own dance.

Sena:

They had already managed to make him fall for them, since they were already a couple; but once he was told about their old career, he felt… lots of emotions. Why didn’t they tell him before? He mostly seemed annoyed with them. But really, he was ready to die over how cute and amazing they are. Plus, he felt a new, strange connection with them. As he transferred out of modeling, he understood how they probably feel.

His love turned into almost an obsession, in a way. His room transformed to almost look like a shrine for them, covered in posters and pictures of them on stage. But he hangs the most recent pictures, of them as a producer, near his desk. He’s incredibly proud of them; not only for who they were, but who they are.

When he learned how popular they were, and still are, he got even more protective of them. If that was possible. He feels a need to accompany them whenever they go out.

Arashi:

Arashi knew that they used to be an idol without having to tell him- he recognized them when the two first met. Though he brushed it off at first, he eventually realized his suspicions were correct. So when they told him about their past as an idol, he wasn’t surprised.

He constantly worries about them- if something had prompted them to quit their work as an idol, wouldn’t being a producer bring back bad memories? How could a big sis not worry? Even if he’s assured that they enjoy work as a producer, he can’t help but be a little worried.

One of his favorite things to do is watching their old music videos. He always comments about how cute their outfit is, or how pleasant their voice is, or how well they perform the choreography.

If given permission, Arashi loves singing with them! Their voice is just as lovely as it used to be, and he loves getting to perform duets. Even if it’s only them two that can hear.

Ritsu:

Ritsu is pretty indifferent to it. He didn’t give them much a reaction when they first mentioned it. After all, what they used to do doesn’t really matter, as long as they’re happy now, right? Though he was a little curious about it. He ended up watching a few videos, and was pretty shocked by their talent and popularity. He saw how much your fans adored them- causing him to get insanely jealous. The way they smiled at the crowd, and sang for their fans. He’s honestly glad they quit being an idol. Now he can have them all to himself!

Occasionally, he’ll ask them to sing lullabies. Though he doesn’t particularly need it to sleep, he loves having an excuse to hear them sing. Especially while knowing the fact that their song is for him, and him alone.

For some reason, he felt even more intent on keeping them away from Rei. That brother of his used to be a fan. Ritsu makes sure to never let the two encounter. But when they’re not with him, Ritsu loves rubbing it in his face.

Suou:

When they first told him, he was in shock. They were an idol? that idol? He suddenly felt undeserving of them. He admitted to being a huge fan. And also feels pretty dumb for not noticing the resemblance.

After he gets over his embarrassment, and manages to accept, yes, this is his favorite idol, he constantly asks for lessons from them. He strives to become an idol worthy of being with them! Despite them constantly telling him he doesn’t need to earn his title of their boyfriend.

He digs up all his old videos and merch that he had collected during their popular years, rewatching all the videos, and displaying all the items in his room.

Suou would tell everyone, and I mean everyone, that he’s dating the famous idol! He loves to tell others about their skills, and the fact that they are in a relationship with him. That’s his favorite part- the fact that he gets to keep them all to himself.

Eichi:

Having a family that’s very big in entertainment, Eichi knew them before they even really knew each other. They probably saw him randomly around, too. But neither of the two really recognized each other. When they officially met, it was as idols. So he was surprised when they quit their work, and is always asking them questions about it.

He’s always glad to have such an experienced and knowledgeable person as a producer. It’s nice for him to know that he can rely on them. He always lets them know that he counts on them.

He loves to tease them over it; especially over suggestive themes. Whether it be the song, their outfit, or the dance, he’ll poke fun at them. But, to know about any of those, he had to have watched the videos with those… and how many loops of watching would it take to remember the exact lyrics and choreography?

Wataru:

This boy is always spontaneous and unpredictable, and it got even more… dangerous, I’ll say, once he was notified of their past fame. He’s always planning random things, usually without thelling them. It ranges from performing a magic trick on stage, during a live, and make them appear, to putting on unannounced concerts during breaks. He even enjoys dressing them up, as he does to Tomoya. (Tomoya shares a mutual understanding with them.)

As much as he flaunts their talent, he makes sure that they’re well aware that they need to be a capable producer still. Changing careers means changing careers- just because they were a popular idol doesn’t automatically make them an amazing producer! He’s always pushing them to work harder as a producer.

Of course he’s proud, though! But he’s mostly proud of how determined they are now, as a producer, compared to what they did before.

Tori:

Tori was also one of their fans! He’s always complaining to them- why did they quit? How dare they! He loved their singing! His fits usually end up with him sitting on their lap as they sing to him. He’ll get over it eventually. But that doesn’t mean they’ll get to stop singing for him.

He never shuts up about them. Literally every conversation he ever has with anyone, he manages to pop in a few (or more than a few) comments about how he’s dating one of the most popular idols around. Though some people are hapoy that he’s not bragging about himself as much, it got old quick. At least he’s talking about how amazing someone else is this time?

As much as he whines about practicing with Fine, when they’re overseeing the practice, suddenly he’s all fired up. He’ll always call out to them, make sure they’re watching. He gets pretty nervous at times, especially during lives. He reeeaaally wants to impress you…

Yuzuru:

He felt a new sense of comfort when he was informed of their past career. Before, he was worried that they saw him as someone better than themself. So hearing that they used to be an idol as well put those feelings to rest. He loves it this way. He thinks it’s perfect, and always tells them that. He couldn’t ask for a better person as his s/o.

Learning of their work as an idol made him feel slightly stupid, though- how did he not realize? They had so many traits that are generally sought after in idols, and mandatory when working as one. He’s so, so proud of them, though he tends to keep that to himself. He could tell that being an idol built their personality, and he admires their qualities.

Yuzuru can be pretty nervous at times, regarding their popularity. One of his worst fears is to have some fan of theirs finding them out in the public. Who knows what could happen? Though he’ll admit that not all fans are bad; unless you two are trying to be alone. Then he hopes that nobody, even the harmless fans recognize you.

[ MISCARRIAGE TW ] kyong daehyun was born in daegu, south korea on the 22nd of february 1997. they were sort of a miracle baby bc their mom went through two miscarriages before them ( she’s rh negative & the babies were rh positive n ,,, i wont explain the biology behind it, im sure yall know that ). they’re an only child. they’ve always wanted a sibling ( an older one ,,,, they always want the impossible things smfh ). so yeah, they were a bit lonely while growing up

they were a very weak child who’d fall ill quite often (their family used to call them aga/aggie/babybc of it … sorta stuck with them to this day ), so much that it affected their education. the poor bean skipped a lot of classes, so eventually their parents decided it was best for them to leave school. they were homeschooled !! altho they now have incredible work ethic bc of this, they didn’t have many friends while growing up :( they sorta didnt even get the chance to develop n test their social skills. they came in contact with their parents, nannies, parents’ business partners, etc … long story short, they were surrounded by adults. this made them VERY mature for their age, even back then.

the greatest discovery of their life was the internet. they had little interest in sports & going outside, so they’d spend their free time glued to the screen of their laptop, either watching movies, youtube videos & tv shows or getting to know strangers from across the world thanks to various websites & apps. they’d often stay up all night n ruin their sleep pattern in order to talk to their friends from other timezones. they made them so happy. so. happy.

their parents sort of made them pursuit a medical career, though, they literally have -10 interest in it. not 0. -10. they just want to make them proud, ok ?? especially since they’ve always been an incredible student n studying came easily to them. they were praised while growing up, so naturally they started thinking they were exceptional as well.

COLLEGE ! they. hate. it. hate it. like, they are fallin apart n are like “wow so what is this, i thought i was smart ?? they told me i was the most intelligent kid in the world wHY cant i do literally anything now w o w im so average yUCK”. i mean, they still get good grades, but they ARE struggling.

[ PROFESSOR/STUDENT RELATIONSHIP THING TW ] … idk maybe someone’s triggered by that. anyway, there was a class that made them 11/10 done with life & they were sure they’d fail it n ruin their entire life, so they approached the professor ( who ,,, was rly hot n made hyunnie weak in the knees ok ) n were like “i will literally do ANYTHING in order to pass this class ,,,,,, pls”. like, they had 0 shame bc they were so done with it. n ,,, long story short, they ended up sleeping with the professor … ,,, multiple times. t was bc of the grade the first time, but … they’re pretty much in love with him now. and they’re a bit foolish, they hope he’s in love with them too. n idk they sort of dream about being in a real relationship with them. l mao … my poor kiddo.

daehyun is a demiboy ( they/them or he/him. if you refer to them as she/her, they will feel uncomfortable, but they will not have the guts to correct you. lmao one time they watched a woman make them european-style pancakes with nutella & cherries, even though they asked for a nutella/banana combo. they did not correct her. they ate half of it, left with a pout on their face n were sad for the rest of the day tHATS HOW ANXIOUS N SHY THEY ARE BYE ). anyway, as i said —— demiboy. panromantic ( very romantic, a huge dreamer. the type to imagine cute scenarios with their crush before falling asleep ). pansexual, though the most attracted to masculine physique buT !! they’re too self-conscious n emotion-dependent that they can’t have sex with just about anyone. n o. byee. like, the thought of getting naked in front of someone is terrifying to them, so they really need to trust n know the person. i wouldn’t call them demisexual though, since they do experience sexual attraction without having an emotional bond, they just … can’t let go of their ~stupid insecurities~

[ FOOD TW ] they don’t eat meat. yes, they do love animals n feel sad about those poor things, but that’s not the main reason why they don’t eat it. the smell, the look, the taste of meat makes them incredibly sick. when they were smol & had any sort of meat for lunch, they’d sit at the table for 5 hours n eat everything BUT the meat. most of the time, they used to give it to their dog who was v chubby bc of them. lunch was the worst time of the whole day for them, it was suuuuuuuper bad, especially since their parents didn’t understand their problem n called them spoiled. now that they are away from home, they’re super happy cause they can eat whatever they want ( sweets n pastries ). this bish ALWAYS has a lollipop in their mouth n a candy bar with them.

why are they obsessed with lollipops ? thanks to them they destroy their nails n cuticles LESS when bored, since their mouth is occupied. you can determine how life’s goin for daehyun just by looking at their hands. when everything’s good, their nails are painted ( the execution n design also say a lot about how much free time they have n how clear their head is ). when everything’s shit, they aren’t painted, they are bloody and sore, skin completely damaged, so much that it hurts to touch items with the very tips of their fingers. everything burns n they’re wincing 25/8.

they always have literally everything with them. you need a tissue, a comb, a hair brush, a band-aid, a hand sanitizer, a nail polish, some water, something sweet, a set of stem cells & a cure for every illness in the world ?they have it all. they’re always prepared for every situation. this is bc of their huge fear of facing a situation for the first time unprepared. also … you should never make them order food on their own or make a serious phone call or wtvr bc .. they can’t do that.

they’re fluent in english, but pls don’t throw big words at them :( they feel so embarrassed when they don’t know what something means. they go home & write the new word on one of their colourful cards, along with its translation to korean, a smol explanation & an example sentence n they have loads of those cards that they reread whenever they have time. when they learn a new word, they love showing off lmao dumbass

while they were back in korea n spending time on youtube, they used to watch a lot of kpop mvs + makeup tutorials n fell in love with makeup n wanted to look as beautiful as the people in those videos. they started stealin their mother’s makeup n used to be awful at paintin’ their face, but got better with time. they used to save money for eyeliners n primers n highlighters n all sort of shit n they’d hide all the products in their room n play with them whenever they were home alone. they know it’s their true passion& call, but they are so discouraged by the fact that they can’t even walk outside wearing makeup. they aint confident enough & still don’t think they can pull it off.

they made a new youtube account with the intention to post their own tutorials, but … mm, there’s still 0 uploaded videos on that channel

i’ve been struggling to decide which hair colour to go with … black, platinum blonde, silver or pink n i chose …pink.

they’ve never been in an actual relationship. never cuddled, or did couple-y things. their professor took their virginity, so … ya. that’s one of the reasons why they’re refusing to let him go.

i think it’s quite obvious that they’re a very anxious, shy & alert person 24/7 and i guess that you can see how their upbringing had a lot to do with it. i don’t view their shyness as cute and adorable, but they definitely aren’t grim either. they’re just closed-off. they’re not used to sharing personal stuff with other people, at least not face to face. online, everything’s different.

most of the time they’re like … “uhhhhh, people - i’d rather not. that can get me in a lot of awkward n uncomfortable situations n i’d rather avoid that’. they don’t find solitude depressing. they enjoy their alone time, they find comfort in it. they are very aware of the fact that their social skills suck & as i said a part of them doesn’t give a damn, but … another part is worried bc if they truly want to be in the makeup world, they will have to learn to be a people person, have a fantastic charisma n ,, talk to people ? lmao

Dear “Friend”

I know that you will never see this and I know personally that I will never be able to tell you this. Our “friendship” was never normal… we weren’t ever friends no matter how much we tried to say we were. A year and a half later here I sit, heartbroken and regretting it all. We both know you were never good for me but at the time I was young and unaware however you were well aware of what you were doing and look where it got us.

You’ve ruined me in so many ways. I struggle to define relationships, I find it difficult to tell the difference between ‘Friends’, ‘Sexual Partners’ and ‘Lovers’ because of everything that has happened. I was 15 and you were 26. I was confused and at the time I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. I will always wonder why you did what you did because to me sexual acts aren’t a casual thing, they mean so much more.

I defended you to everyone that disagreed with our “Friendship”, I had two guys leave me because of you and one wouldn’t even come near me because he could see the damage before he even attempted a thing. I ignored the one guy who truely loved me because deep down I was in love with you and now that guy can’t even look me in the eyes after all of this.

You would give me advice and tell me people were using me but in reality you were the one using me. I was someone you would go to if you needed pictures for your own pleasure or if your girlfriend wasn’t around. I hated every picture and every moment yet I did it because in my eyes your happiness was more important than my own.

You think I am just naturally sexual but I’m not. I hate sex and everything related to it. You used to slate me for how I acted but I was acting out to try my best to get through the pain you caused. I once said to you that I would do drugs, get drunk and have sex just to help me through the day.

When we first started talking everything had to be sexual. It was all about bdsm and rough sex. I was scared of it all but you manipulated me until i trusted you. I went along with those conversations and eventually when it came to me actually doing these things with someone i told them i wanted to do those things… i wanted you to be proud of me. I wanted your approval and attention that badly.

One thing that will always stick with me will be the time we got into an argument and you said that i stop acting so “fucking needy” and get some hobbies that weren’t “Penis”. The thing was i was only ever like this with you, those things weren’t my obsession, you were. Friends around me could see how I would change, they could see how badly i’d fallen and they could see the pain i was in because of everything between us but i defended you because i refused to think that you were hurting me. I refused to believe that you would ever hurt or use me but I’ve learnt that all this time I was just ignoring the truth.

I say I don’t remember things that have happened and i don’t because i supress the memories, you are the one thing in my life i wish never happened. I left friends behind, i shut people out, i ruined my relationships with family and I hid away because i thought spending every free moment i had with you was the right thing to do. But smooth talking is your talent and you knew exactly what to say to get me to stay.

September 23rd 2015. The moment I knew this was going to hurt me, the moment i knew it was all going wrong and the moment i first tried to leave. Unfortunately for me i struggle to leave people because i don’t want to be like everyone else who has left me in the past.

At one point when I was annoyed and done with what was happening I told you to leave and you refused to because you “weren’t done” with me. You told me that instead of leaving yourself you get the person to hate you and leave by themself.

I’m not going to openly mention things we’ve done or the things you’ve said because in reality this is just a rant. I know that people wont read this but I still want to state that I know it wasn’t just you doing things. I know what i was like, i know i said things just to get to you. I know that in the beginning i saw it as just a game but looking back now i wish i hadnt been the way i was.

It wasn’t all bad though. You taught me things and made me happy but eventually the bad outweighed the good in our relationship and you were no longer good for me. I’ll always remember the good things like when we watched that stupid ass movie, or when we spent weeks on minecraft building a town or when you gave me that pasta recipe that i still use to this day.

I guess in the end this was an experience i will learn from. I know some days i will struggle to cope and i know there is a chance i wont love anyone as much as i did you but im still young. I refuse to stay and waist my life and time on you because i know that we both want different things and a normal friendship is not possible between us.
