The Amazing Race 31: Finale

[A] London. Pip pip cherrio! [S] London? So last two legs are English-speaking countries? Lame.

[A] I do not want an all Amazing Race finale. I know they're all going to work together to make that happen and it's such a bully tactic and, quite honestly, makes me root for Nicole and Victor. [S] Ganging up on Nicole and Victor just because they weren't on AR is fucking lame.

[A] That airline employee so doesn't care about why it is a great leg, Jamal.

[S] Are these people dumb? You always go to the taxi stand at the airport… [A] It's illegal to pick up a taxi? Weird.

[S] But aviation museum! Yes! [A] Whatever we're doing at the Aviation Museum, Sparrow gets to do it because he ❤s planes.

[A] "Who Can't Keep a Secret?" Psh...we're both steel vaults. But it's code-breaking, so you. I'd go wander the castle while I waited. [S] This roadblock sounds fun. I'd be happy to do it, but happy to let you do it too.

[A] I half expected Leo to tell one of the other AR teams the answer.

[S] Victor realizes you are working together. Stop being so fucking petty about it.

[S] Victor beat them while they were working together. FUCKING LOL! [A] GOOD JOB VICTOR!

[A] Detour: Know or Row. Memorize a cab route or complete a two-person skip route in one minute? That's a toss up. IF we could get the skip down, it'd be faster, but I think we'd be better at the cab route (knowledge vs. physical and whatnot). [S] I must be missing something. KNOW seems mind-numbingly easy.

[A] 7 points of interest and 15 streets? Piece of cake.

[A] Nicole: "are you strong enough to do that?" LMAO. I like that she acknowledges that she will be of no use. [S] Is Nicole even rowing? [A] Nope.

[A] Bets the Afghanimals will go back to the water? Their charm will get them nowhere with this. [S] Is Jamal even paying attention? And as much as Leo and Jamal are bitching, I still think KNOW seemed easy.

[A] I don't dislike Tyler and Korey, but seeing them constantly fall in the water is a bit schadenfreude because they have been dominating for so many weeks.

[S] Yeah sure, make Colin row on his own. Zero chance that is the best way to do it.

[S] Don't switch, Nicole and Victor...boo!

[A] Wow, they got the cab test on their third attempt. So much for Tyler and Korey not crushing it.

[S] Ooh, a clue at the check in!

[A] This is an interesting task because they are just grabbing items from stalls in the market and kind of look like shoplifters (also if they grab the wrong item, they WOULD be shoplifters).

[A] Also, again, do they have to stay together? Be so much easier to split up.

[S] "We" didn't get the rowing. COLIN got the rowing.

[S] Aw man, Victor and Nicole are going home. I told ya switching was a bad idea.

[S] Fake finish line drama but Victor and Nicole got there too late for me to have any doubt. [A] Sucks. I wanted them in the finals.

[S] Ganging up on the non-Amazing Race team is so childish.

[A] So both Survivor and AR had uneventful "themes" - Survivor ended with a winner who only played for a few days and AR ended with an all AR final three.

[S] Don't really want any of the final three teams to win.

[A] Detroit? Really? That's where we're ending?

[A] Roadblock: "Who's good with numbers?" Sparrow. Sparrow. 100% Sparrow. [S] How glad is Ace that a "who is good with numbers" comment would lead to me doing this roadblock? [A] Oh and it involves heights? 120% Sparrow.

[A] Leo: "I picked the roadblock because it said who's good-er with numbers." Well good thing it wasn't "who's good at grammar?"

[S] I feel like Tyler is gonna kick in a window.

[A] I love that they put as many numbers as possible in the vault directions to try to throw people off.

[S] Ah the old lose your taxi. [A] Contestants always complain about taxis dooming them and this - this is an actual example of a taxi dooming a team.

[S] LOL. Where did super peaceful Christie go? Colin is right. Yelling at him won't help. [A] Don't yell at him. You found him. Just stay calm.

[S] Fowling seems fun. [A] I have never heard of fowling and that makes me sad because it looks fun.

[S] Colin frigging destroyed fowling.

[S] I feel like Jamal hasn't been particularly supportive the entire race. [A] I don’t think he was very supportive during their initial run either.

[A] This record making task seems oddly simple for a finale episode. [S] Pressing records seems like an interesting challenge.

[S] I hope Christie leaves the record shop and the cab is gone.

[S] I'll just let Ace build the drums, LOL. [A] OMG I COULD DO THIS DRUM ASSEMBLY!

[A] And with a "Seven Nation Army" soundtrack? Hell yes. [S] Of course they are playing “Seven Nation Army��. [A] If Jack White isn't with Phil at the final mat, I'll be disappointed.

[S] Yup. Talk to the drums telepathically Christie...you crazy lady.

[S] They aren't even showing Leo and Jamal anymore, haha.

[A] That was it? Just a run to the mat? No massive recap challenge? Lame.

[S] Ugh the sisters.

[S] The final three finished in exactly the order I expected them too. Disappointed there was no quiz about the entire trip.

[A] "We are Amazing Race kings...we did everything..." Except win, Afghanimals. You didn't win.
