Fangfest 2024 - Day Four- The Empress Parvati, wife to the Hierophant of the Temple of Relentless Pleasures and mother to Set Reborn. Parvati's card is the Empress, a card that represents the divine feminine and fertility, beauty and grace, love and creativity. She is (sketchily!) depicted here post a rather gluttonous feeding frenzy, overwhelmed from her bloodlust being satiated. Parvati was a mother and wife in life before being shovel-headed during the Bronze Age of Northern India, and later met Harrakhty Hamdi and joined the Followers of Set, despite herself being a Ravnos. She is beautiful, full-figured, overwhelming and dangeous. My lady. <3

Shao Zhu, Baron of New Orleans

My Thrashing Dragon Kuei-jin Shao Zhu, who is over 2,000 years old, was originally meant to be a BBEG in my weekly World of Darkness game I DM, until the players decided they liked her so much they elected her as Anarch Baron after ousting Prince Marcel and his cohorts.

She's had quite the character arc, none of which I planned, to get where she is, now; I'm extremely satisfied with it, even if I was surprised at first. She's surprisingly compassionate to her allies, and unsurprisingly vengeful to her enemies--the group are trying to create a New Carthage in New Orleans, and Shao Zhu's overseas resources and allies have gotten them a long way to that goal; we're doing a multi-splat campaign, so first was Vampires, then Werewolves, then Mages and so on, all building toward an Avengers Endgame-style Apocalypse Chronicle that I'm excited for.

Holy mother of rage

We spent 5 sessions in the Dreaming, trying to save an unknown Lotus Lady. (later on we're figured out her name is Lotoa) We resurrected Dagda the Hideous, a troll from the unseelie court, and Charlie asked her to bring and oath of loyalty to the house Balor. We failed resurrecting Pan ( Dagda kinda ate him). And in the end. we arrived to the ruined castle, where Lotus lady and horrifying gigantic fomori slept. No one could kill this fomori back in the past, so they put him in sleep. While Lotoa is sleeping, giant is sleeping. In the end, we're figured that right now we don't have options to kill the giant fast, aside from the one that we didn't like. Charlie didn't want to go until he fulfill his wife's quest.So in the end Veliya, our settite, decided to replace Lotoa. Dagda helped us to craft a ritual and we succeed. We're back in reality, with one new psychosis for Charlie and gender change for Cristopher, and Veliya is in torpor inside the glass coffin T_T Jeffrey is off to find Lotoa in real life and connect her with Glinda, a wise elder who will surely protect her. and yes, all this is preparation for future war against Charlie's and Glinda's enemy. In the end. I think it was a successful adventure for Charlie.. PS. He turned into bat and kissed his wife's fingers and made a nest in her hair. It was so cute Chris couldn't even be angry at them ( he should tho)

Maybe this is crazy and unhinged thing to do but I sometimes assign people I know to the vampire clans (of course without telling them) and explain some of their actions to myself based on it, like "oh this guy is so pretentious and always mentions how his family was Polish nobility before the soviets, typical Ventrue behaviour" or "I know what you are, an art student with penchant for weird sculpture and anatomical oddities", or our local gothic witch bars, book stores and cafés in the city center which I presume is Tremere chantry undercover, is there any hope for me.

Fangfest 2024 - Day Five - The Emperor

Prince Carver, former Sabbat Bishop who caused a nice little civil war by claiming praxis and turning Atlanta into Camarilla territory. Hidden in the halls of an evangelical church, he struggles between the pull of getting the acknowledgement of the Ivory Tower, keeping his ravenous former pack-mates now primogens and other leadership in line, and now the Thinblood resistance that's getting bolder and bolder. The Emperor is the card that represents fatherhood, divine masculinity, leadership and guidance. Carver is both Prince and Lasombra, and his control will be absolute. We're probably going to get more just sketches from here on out as I'm out of town now, but here's my beloved Atlanta Prince! I love this man he's so done with everyone...
