I was just briefly playing some showdown: legends of wrestling and I want to provide proof that it might be the best wrestling game ever made.

Rumble Roses (Yuke’s / Konami - PS2 - 2004)  

WWF: No Mercy (Asmik Ace Entertainment / AKI Corporation, THQ, 2000)

Wrestling games definitely need to start introducing fictional characters as dlc playable characters. It probably fits better in fire in the Fire Pro series but it would be cool to see in WWE games.

And I think the best choice to be added to a wrestling game is majima from the Yakuza series. I mean look at the gif he's so ready for it haha.

Considering what's going on in storylines with WWE IRL right now, this episode seems perfectly timed.

I will never forget that Rumble Roses existed but also it's a better representation of wrestling than most modern wrestling games

It has Gimmicks

It has wrestling moves

It has personality

It has "Personality"

It has a story mode that doesn't suck ass

It goes so hard and I need another Rumble Roses game (I have not played XX and I don't intend to)
