I haven't rlly used this account due to getting back into other fandoms but I just want to say:

what happened at Astroworld was a tragedy and my heart goes out to everyone affected. And if you still defend Travis Scott, wtf is wrong with you. He absolutely knew what was going on and the fact this probably won't ruin his career sickens me.

So this baby's name is Ophelia! I created her during my break from Tumblr and I love her very much.

EVERYTHING ELSE BELOW THE CUT-

Ophelia is the daughter of Bustopher Jones and therefore, the cousin of Mister Mistoffelees. She was born to Bustopher and a former mate, a queen named Rhiannon. Both cats were fairly high-class so she lived a comfortable kittenhood.

Ophelia was the oldest of three female kittens and since Rhiannon's owner was a socialite they all grew up around people and very exciting events. Ophelia still has a fondness for parties.

Of course considering the environment she grew up in, Ophelia was a bit pampered but those who knew in her youth would recall the kindness she had, often stopping to bid hello to wandering strays or drop off gifts for the old queen in the big house across the street. She became known for inviting less well-off strangers she encountered to join her for a dinner at one of Bustopher's clubs Ophelia and her sisters were taught the manners and etiquette of a proper queen from a young age. (Although that didn't stop her with romping about and poking around at whatever managed to capture her curiosity.)

Considering Bustopher was the Cat About Town, he had many acquaintances and Ophelia loved accompanying him, engaging in deep discussions with guests as if she was not a kitten simply allowed to sit with them but one of the adults. Although for the most part, she was well-liked when she was with the more high-class cats her parents knew well, they more noticed her constant talkative state and endless questions rather than her good nature.

Considering her father was acquainted with them, Ophelia visited the Jellicles with him and although he insisted on her sitting with him as he greeted old friends and she entertained them, she often shot longing glances at the kittens playing and hoped to play with them, although they didn't often speak to her other than the necessary introductions. Imagine her jealousy when her cousin Mistoffelees got to live permanently with them.

When Ophelia was older, on one of these visits to the Jellicles she noticed a new presence and that was a rather striking black and white tom, by this time she knew the Jellicles around her age better allowed to strike up conversation with them and therefore she asked Bombalurina about him. The conversation went like this- "Who's he?" "Oh that's Alonzo. Friend of Munkustrap's off the streets. What, has he caught your interest~"

"Oh no, nothing like that! Merely curious."

Despite her insistence, Bombalurina hurried Ophelia up to Alonzo which led to a flustered introduction from her and charming greeting from his side. They spent the rest of the night engaged in a spirited conversation and Ophelia would be lying if she said he didn't linger in her mind for some time after that.

It seems Alonzo felt the same as it wasn't long before he ended up coincidentally passing by her home or dropping by one of Bustopher's clubs. And not much long time after that it became a daily occurrence for a certain harlequin tom to appear waiting patiently in the garden for Ophelia to grin and slip through the window to run out and greet him. With every meeting, they became closer and he opened up to her about his rather...rough past as a stray. Often these more serious conversations would end with him quickly brushing it off and taking her hand to declare, "you are a gift to me, ma chérie."

Everyone seemed to notice this new companionship went deeper and quite truthfully they were a fit for each other. They grounded one another and Ophelia prompted out Alonzo's more lively streak and him her more nurturing. One day, while they were lying together, Alonzo turned and quite seriously informed her "You are all that I want." And that was that.

After she and Alonzo became mates, Ophelia officially moved to the Junkyard and she loves it there. Always being a very outgoing queen, she loves being able to constantly socialise and when she does need to recharge, she can simply slip off to a different part of the Yard. Always seeming to be a magnet for the most chaotic of cats, she's close with Mistoffelees(of course), Tugger, Bombalurina and Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer. Tbh, she's compatible in a lot of friendships as the more mature cats can participate in debates and discussions with her while the younger cats are happy to fulfill a sense of fun.

Ophelia, Bombalurina and Demeter are basically honorary in-commands at this point by how much they help out their protector husbands. Considering he's never lost a bit of a temper, Ophelia helps ground Alonzo and is often one of the cats he most often goes to for advice other than Munkustrap. She's quite clever and while she is disinterested in actual combat, Ophelia's a good strategist and very involved and active in meetings often rambling away to her adoring Alonzo's encouragement.

Ophelia's never been happier than when she became a Jellicle and is just living up life rn (angst later)
