can we get an update on willow please!!
I had a thought about this and had to share <3
thinking of when willow’s like three or four and she discovers sidewalk chalk for the first time. the joys of being outside and that she can scribble on the patio’s concrete slab in the back or down the driveway. she already loves to color so much, and now she can do it outside??
carmen loves it. he buys her this multipack of chalk that professionals use lol. they’ll spend hours in the afternoon coloring and drawing while you and teddy play hopscotch or jump rope.
I feel like willow and carmen would have that bond of being super artistic. they like to be creative and are so talented, it’s calming for both of them and it’s so precious.

i remember following u back in july for blind abt season 2 and then watching u build the whole universe with the social media manager and the proposal and finding out the pregnancy and it’s been so cool to see you build a little world like that! sometimes when i watch the actual show i get surprised when it’s not like thebearer universe bc in my head this is the canon

thinking of sundress season starting now, and how you’re obsessed with dresses while pregnant and carmen is not complaining
sundress season is a weakness he genuinely was not ready for lmao. in general, but when you get pregnant it intensifies.
the bump in the sundress. "it's all that fits. it's just easier than jeans."
"baby, i-i think you look great." carmen shakes his head lightly. "'m not complainin'."
he's not a big pda person at all. like is very private. will hold your hand, or put an arm around you most times but it's super respectful and sweet. but when the sundresses come out, he's so handsy?? cheeky ass grab in public, arm wrapped around the hip, squeezing it. super affectionate too. drives him wild when you're in a sundress.

no bc you definitely feed anchovy lasagna (carmen is so pissed lmao) bc it's so perfect?? orange cat?? lasagna?? why not it's funny. even if it is carmen's special, fancy lasagna.
little did you know the monster you were creating lmao.
anchovy is obsessed with lasagna after that. can smell it even before you start and will start going absolutely insane. meows over and over and over and over until carmen is sure he's going to rip his hair out. then he'll start getting the zooms, trying to get on the counter so carmen's trying to cook, keep anchovy away, and keep him from jumping in a pot of boiling sauce.
he gets locked up, you call it. put in the bedroom with you and he cries and meows pitifully until it's ready.

Another one of Anchovy antics, pretty sure Carmen already closed the door once without looking and squeezed Chovys paw, the reader would go ballistic taking him to the vet just to say he's fine and applying the silent treatment to Carmen for a week 🤣🤣
carmen made the sign for himself bc he accidentally closed anchovy's paw in there one time (barely but still the damage was done) and he limped so you freaked and went to the vet. definitely coddled anchovy all day and was so mad at carmen because you've told him to watch!!
so carmen makes a sign bc sometimes he gets in a groove and won't check to see where anchovy is and he does not want a repeat lol.

baby teddys daily routine is being so much more productive than mine would be
her best age would be like 6-7 months tbh. like when she's aware and responsive and babbling but still a bitty baby.
you're less scared, carmen too, more sure of what's going on and she's just at that funny age. you two were obsessed before, but now? it's like you can't get enough. she's making faces, so funny, and just doing new things everyday it feels like.
her days are so routine but different.
wake up, change, fed, try some new puree carmen's made (spit it out and make a mess), get bathed and changed in some adorable outfit that you send to carmen if he's not there (teddy's ootd), errands some days or go see carmen or you'll but her in her bouncer or on a mat while you try and get some things done, torment anchovy, nap, facetime carmen on his break if you can't go see him for family, feed, and bath time before bed (again with the sending a picture of her jammies).
she's got a routine!!! but tormenting anchovy is not secluded to one hour of the day, some days that can be 24/7 lmao.

teddy in the newborn phase where she has her routine down and so do you guys, and all she really wants is snuggles and the boob
i think it would be one of those things you and carmen thought you'd never get her into a routine. everyone talks about how hard it is and you two are so sure it will be for you two (bc let's be real, you two aren't the best with routines lol). but it's surprisingly easy. almost boring at times.
"i know i probably shouldn't say this." you say, holding teddy to your chest one afternoon, feeding her. "but this is like a lot easier than i thought it would be?"
"yeah," carmen nods, running a fingertip over her small tuffs of hair. "probably shouldn't say that though. like saying it's dead in a restaurant, then you're so fuckin' busy you can't see straight."
you giggle. "you're right, my bad." you hum, swaying her gently. "but sugar was right. all babies do is eat, cry, and poop."
"and repeat." carmen snorted lightly.
"definitely repeat." you hum, chin tucking to admire your little bundle in your arms. "she's so cute."
"so fucking cute." carmen's voice is tight with pride when he says it. "can't believe she's actually here."
"i know." you muttered. "feels like a dream. like it's not real."
"'m glad it is though." carmen muttered. you looked at him, startling him a little. he'd actually said that out loud? shit, he's actually said that out loud.
"i-i mean, i'm glad that it's real." carmen nodded, looking at your sheepishly. "i'm glad she's here, and you're here, and that... that i, um, i get to be here too."
you smile, eyes a little glassy and watery with emotion. "i'm glad you're here too." you grin, leaning over to kiss him softly. carmen's hand moves, cradling the back of teddy's head gently, his lips on yours.

thinking of lip taking you out first time after amelia’s born and he’s still trying to make it up to you on how he was an ass for nine months
you two definitely take a baby moon but it's a very very late baby moon lol. like months after amelia is born. he gets debbie, or ian and mickey to watch the kids, takes you away for the weekend.
even if it's just to downtown to take you to a nice restaurant and a hotel room just for the two of you, he's just trying to make it up. saves up for it like crazy just to try and make up for it and spend time together.
you and him both know he could have ordered a pizza and had someone take the kids, that you'd be content with that, but he wants to go the extra mile and save up and take you out- spoil you a little.

missing anchovy. i hope he’s doing well, and getting extra love during teddys nap after she kept splashing him in her pool
he's not enjoying the summer time with her. especially as she gets older and wants to bring him in the pool with her. does not understand that he will shred her inflatable pool to shreds and sobs every time carmen takes him from her and won't let him go out. she just wants her bestie to go in the pool with her!!!!
you tried to compromise and bring him out one time, sit him in your lap while you watched teddy. until she started splashing and it got on him and he FREAKED. definitely went insane in the back yard, and was screeching, hiding under stuff and hissing even at you when you tried to coax him out.
he's not a summer fan lmao. much more of a cold weather, indoor, fireplace on type cat.

i think baby teddy would only be 9 months old in may? i feel like memorial weekend would be the bears summer menu launch, and she’s been teething so to keep her quiet when she’s fussy richie just feeds her a rib and her little overalls are ruined
around nine months give or take haha, but yes!
they close the restaurant for the actual holiday, decide to do a menu tasting and what not, but they do it at your and carmen's home. sorta like a backyard bbq, a little inflatable pool and slip and slide for the kids.
teddy's little and can't play with the bigger kids, but she's content being passed around to everyone. the only problem is her little teeth are killing her :( she's miserable and the heat makes it worse, but she doesn't want to go inside.
she's out of teething rings, they melt too quickly, she's fussy and grumpy and miserable. "i got her." richie waves you off, taking his goddaughter from you. "i got it. trust me. eva did the same shit when she was little. i know the fix."
you're unsure of what he's going to do but you know he won't hurt her obv, so you let him have her while you try and host, get her teething rings cold again.
you come back out to see teddy gnawing on a rib, barbecue sauce all over her little pink overalls. you want to be pissed, mad that she's messy and those stains will be a bitch to get out, but you know carmen will do it with ease. and besides, she's content, not crying, happily gnawing on the rib bone.
"see?" richie smirks. "told you. i got it."
carmen starts to protest when he sees it, worried that there's something sharp or that richie didn't clear it properly and she could choke. "he's got it, carm." you stop him, grabbing his arm. "please? she's not crying, she's happy. just-just let her keep going until the teething rings are cold again."
there's definitely a picture in a photo album somewhere of baby teddy in richie's lap, pink overalls stained with barbecue sauce, gnawing on a rib bone.

baby teddy not really talking but she’s so animated in what she wants , so the little facial expressions go a long way
she'll be so expressive long before she'll start actually talking.
it starts with an exaggerated jut of her lip when she's upset. she'll stick her little bottom lip out so far when she drops her paci or carmen moves her from grabbing his chain.
"oh, look at that face. so dramatic." carmen cooed. "you're gonna be like your mom, hm? drama just like her?"
"says you." you scoff, rolling your eyes. "the most dramatic person to ever live." carmen scoffs back, shaking his head at you, grinning.
then it turns into the face scrunch. she starts realizing she can make faces, figuring out how to mimic them. she'd pucker her lip and push them up to her nose, a full face scrunch that looked adorably evil. she liked when people would cackle in surprise when they saw it.
she'd be so expressive and so fucking cute. my womb is fucking screaming and yearning.

thinking of richie impulsively buying a kiddie pool but sweet talks you into letting you guys keep it in your yard because “my apartment patio can’t fit it, and besides teddy can use it when eva is with her mom” and so everyday weekend of summer baby teddy is in a huge sun hat and cute suit splashing away
it didn't take much convincing, truly, you love eva and she's so nice to teddy. you didn't expect teddy to love it as much as she did, tho. everyday just toddling over to the back patio door, hands smacking on the glass, baby squealing to go outside. and everyday, like clockwork, you or carmen will go out and pump the little inflatable pool and fill it up. it's a sad day in the berzatto house when it rains, tho, bc baby teddy does not understand that she can't go out.
