Hi, I was just curious what you use for doing your art. I do a lot of traditional art, but I want to get into digital art more because I feel like people seem to react better to it. I don't know what would be a good program / tablet to start with and didn't know if you had any potential advice.
I’m horrible with recommendations, so I’ll just tell you what I did. I used to be a traditional only artist then I decided one day to just invest in an iPad and apple pencil to play with. It now became my go-to medium for creating art, but I still do traditional occasionally whenever someone asks.
I use procreate whenever working on my iPad btw. I think it’s a great investment if you’re just now learning digital art, however if you want to take your art seriously it’s best to try other devices and programs as depending on your iPad model, iOS update, and if you can put up with procreate slowing down mid drawing, you may not be happy with sticking to it for too long.
