This took me a while to finish. The past few days I’ve been dealing with some sort of bug that’s been making me generally achy, cold, and tired. It doesn’t help that I’m trying to fix my depression and last week really threw a wrench into that…
On a different note, I’m glad I did Inktober for once (though I don’t see myself doing it again hahaha). I’ve always been very uncomfortable using ink for its permanence even though I really like the result. Inktober got me out of my comfort zone a bit and it got me a little out of the art rut I’ve had since finishing college. It helped me improve my drawing abilities and helped me make my marks with more confidence. c:
I also had fun on Halloween. >:}
I had a face-off with an inflatable t-rex. After we finished, one of his friends (dressed as Mario) taps me and says “I’ve got star power. BOOM, you’re dead.”
I swiped at him and he said “You can’t do that! You’re dead!”
As I walked away I said “YOU CAN’T KILL SOMETHING THAT’S ALREADY DEAD!”
I heard his friends going “OOOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!!!!”
It was glorious. >:}
Later, we all ran into each other again at one of the houses. One of the other boys in the group was like “wanna fight me!?”
I just grinned at him silently for a few seconds.
He pointed back at his friends and said “fight them!” and ran off hahaha.

Day 28: Burn
I was one of the few selected to welcome some really important people from a nearby town. The people coming were known to be very germophobic. The problem was that our town and its inhabitants were known for being pretty filthy.
The solution to this was that each one of us selected had to go through a decontamination process by putting each person into an oven. (The logic was fire kills anything bad and that it was “magic” fire or something so it was completely safe. Knowing this didn’t make me any less terrified of it.)
I was the first to be put into this coffin-sized oven. The last thing I remember before waking up was feeling the flames licking the backs of my legs…

Day 27: Alien
It eats you from the inside out.
First your eyes and then your mouth.
I was on some spaceship and this woman came crawling to me for help but it was already too late for her. I watched as she was eaten alive by this creature.
It was pretty horrifying…

Day 26: Zombie
The last nightmare after six straight months of nightmares (caused by a traumatic experience, yay…) where I was either trapped, cornered, or being chased by something.
In this case, I was being chased through stairwells by zombies and I eventually ran into a corgi. The corgi proceeded to to transform into a cross between a corgi and a chickadee. It told me that it was my “protector god.”
The nightmares stopped.

Day 25: Tired
In this dream I needed surgery on my arm or something? I remember taking the sedative ahead of time and then learned that the surgery was postponed (I wasn’t thrilled when I heard…). I needed to get medicine from this shop and I remember being very drowsy.
The drowsiness was from medicine I took irl…

Day 23: Slow
Where’d they go?
Wha’d they do?
When’s the part where they’re after you?
After being chased by a couple of creeps, I found myself here after going through a narrow alley.
The man on the steps felt comforting at first, that is until he started to sing slowly. It was to the theme of the Hearse Song.
