Blaming nesta for things that the dad should be blamed for is one of the most infuriating things about the books to me. There should be a point where they all realize its wrong to treat her like that. Also while Nesta was quite harsh about it she was right about him being the one who should get a job and seeing his travels later he definitevly could have.
Leave the eldest daughters alone!! They grew up in a society (and are still trapped in one) where the men have all of the power. Like Nesta could really stop Elain from marrying Graysen or stop Feyre from hunting? Tamlin and Lucien couldn't stop her from going out on Calanmai. Mor couldn't stop her from going to catch the Suriel again.
The whole backstory is so flimsy. Dad had chronic pain so cannot do physical tasks. Dad was always educated and could read/write which many others in that time surely could not do. He couldn't manage somebody else's accounts, write for somebody who couldn't etc? The idea that everybody they know just reviles them once they have no money is so ODD. Nobody would help them? Nobody would take in one of their girls to be their ward or anything? But it's all Nesta's fault.

do u want to know what's really funny? the times where nesta uses bastard as a real insult to cassian occur in a bonus chapter
when beron calls Cassian a bastard of a lesser fae whore, nesta defends him by saying "that bastard may wind up being the only person standing in the way of Hybern’s forces and your people" (ACOWAR)
cassian is gripping Nesta's wrist, demanding she use her magic to get him off of her so she calls him an arrogant bastard and he replies that she's a haughty witch so they're evenly matched - again not really a true insult (ACOSF)
she loses count of her exercises because she's trying not to look at cassian's body so he tells her to start again and she calls him a bastard in her own head (ACOSF)
she also references him as a bastard in her head again a couple of pages later when he struts over, smugly, after he realises gwyn and emerie are teasing her about him and her not being able to concentrate when he's around (ACOSF)
Nesta references both Cassian and Azriel as bastards for changing the obstacle course every night in her head, again not out loud (ACOSF)
when cassian is crowding her space in her home asking her if she's a virgin or prefers girls, nesta replies - after trying to change the topic multiple times - that she's surrounded by bastards so won't sully herself - this was to insult him (Wings & Embers)
after cassian licks her neck, she asks if it's magic because she's in disbelief. he laughs, she says "if that's what a bastard-born Fae warrior can do, no wonder my sister has become so entangled with the High Lords" (Wings & Embers)
cassian is pestering nesta, asking why she is letting elain marry graysen and asks what nesta deserves, she replies "certainly more than a bastard-born nobody"
And for some context:
Bastard is used 36 times in ACOSF - 4 of those by Nesta about Cassian. It is used by Cassian about himself, Rhys, Amren, Az, Devlon, Eris.
Bastard is used 12 times in ACOFAS - 0 by Nesta. Cassian refers to Rhys as a bastard at least 3 times.
Bastard is used 16 times in ACOWAR - 1 by Nesta when she defends Cassian. It’s used often by Eris.
TLDR; Cassian needs therapy for his own issues. Leave Nesta alone.

The Autumn Court is the most interesting to me although we've had so little information about the other courts.

A Court of Storms. Strange coloured skies, frequent storms, weather influences everybody.
What relationship would you have wanted to see more of in the books?
Mor being the champion of women like she's meant to be and making an effort with Elain and Nesta. The Archerons doing their own thing without a mention of the IC. They can just go for tea and cake and chat without Rhys lurking in Feyre's head.
What's your unpopular opinion?
Elain is a boring character and I have no desire to read her book because a) she'll either get the soft love that Nesta was denied as she always gets b) she will follow sjm's copy and paste path of becoming a badass warrior despite never having an inclination for that
What's your favourite headcanon/fan canon?
None of the IC have talents but rhys hypes them all up because he can't make other friends. Feyre can't paint. Azriel can't spy. Cassian gets injured all the time. Amren has no power. Mor doesn't really help anybody but herself. And Rhys cheers them all on like yes!!! spymaster!! yes!!! lord of bloodshed!!
If you were swept away to Prythian, what's ONE thing you would want to do?
Make a move on Beron and find out about the fire in his blood

She has a cool character concept and i thought it was really sweet and endearing when she gave feyre the bracelet (necklace?) to help her get through the Prison trip without panicking

Oooh hm not to be a copycat but I loved tarquin from the moment he was introduced, he was an instant fav and i was kind of sad that he didn't have more involvement later on that didn't have to do with the whole feyre and rhys betraying his trust thing

ooh i dont know if this is minor enough but i've come to really like jurian. i didn't really have much of an opinion on him for most of the series and then for some reason in silver flames when he was in it for like 2 seconds i was like wait a minute why haven't i been more into this guy he kinda fucks

tamsand by far. though azris is becoming a close second.
Favourite court and why?
well i loved the spring court aesthetic from the first book, but at this point in the series I think I'd say maybe actually dawn. it just sounded so pretty, and i think it would be one of the subtler, less overwhelming courts while still being awe-inspiring.

oh shoot um okay court of clouds?? people who specialize in wind manipulation, likely populated by a race related to the Peregryns or Drakon's race? an actual cloud court like in the sky could be a vibe I think. perhaps it would be more removed from the politics of prythian--they'd still have a High Lord, but maybe it would be more of a military government or something.
What relationship would you have wanted to see more of in the books?
oh wow i mean i am always here for more rhys and tamlin content obviously, but i would have also loved to see more of like stories and stuff about the sentries from the spring court that went over the wall, like Andras. andras and lucien's relationship in particular would be one I would have liked to know more about. I also really want to see Azriel and his mom.
What's your unpopular opinion?
god what ISN'T my unpopular opinion. hm. i think feyre's whole reasoning for wanting a baby out of seemingly nowhere is dumb. like i get it, yolo, life can be cut short, but like i really do not feel like she picked a good time to have a baby, nor do i think she is remotely ready to be a mother. when she realized she wanted kids in acofas, it wasn't a strong enough argument for me to actually like get behind her decision.

omg i have so many I literally started a list lol. the first one on it is kind of silly, it's that Helion is actually the faerie romance author sellyn drake that nesta, emerie, and gwyn like
