that makes a lot of sense. also, sam and dean avoid those cities because of the reputation they’ve built in the hunter community. Some are impressed and awed by their legend but most are also vary and apprehensive considering how entrenched in everything supernatural Winchesters are.

Everytime there’s a world-ending apocalypse happening, Winchesters are at the center of it and some hunters even blame them for it so sam and Dean avoid the cities for their own safety.

And so I threw the punch, directly into the lens, and um, and everyone behind, uh, video village, which is where they’re watching on the monitors, where Jensen was and Bob Singer was, um, started laughing. An, um, Jensen came out into- We were in the kitchen, we were shooting on location in the kitchen, [laughing] and Jensen came out and said, ‘Misha that was fucking hilarious!... Oh, you weren’t kidding.’ Cause he registered the look on my face and then he said ‘Come here.’ and we went back to the monitors and they did the playback, and the idea was the fist goes right into the lens on the camera. i think alot about how Castiel had to sit by his son's dead body on three separate occasions; once when he died painfully of organ failure, once when Cas' own father killed him and one of them when he had to smite a demon out of it himself
