After some thought, the meaning of this episode, Solo Work, is about Jonah/Augustus letting the relevant people know that he's watching the horrorsā¦ and Gwen/Alice parallel the corpse's statement as they reach out for aid or support, Gwen mainly is compelled by her job to continue operating with the externals. While Alice is relatively annoyed and uninterested. The examiner in the case file wants the corpse to stay silent, Meaning Augustus wants the OIAR to continue to stay silent, presumably to continue observing the horrors.

You know, Iām starting to think that the computer voices are a bit of a red herring. I donāt think Chester is actually Jon, or our Jon.
Instead, Iām thinking that [ERROR] is our Jon. I just relistened to a bit of the episode where it appears and the whispered voices in the background sound vaguely like Jon, plus thatās the first time we hear a tape recorder click.
Now, there is an avatar of some sort going around and pulling the final moments from people who clearly have been impacted by an Entity (whether this universeās or the otherās), with one of those statements even mentioning a figure in an alley asking questions.
These are all ticking the Jon box for me.

So the body from this epsiode was found in mid march, and the previous body had a tape recorder next to it. During mid march, something using a tape recorder was freed from the Magnus Institutes Archives. The corpses are talking about supernatural things that have happened to them and are found dead in ways relating to those things, much like how Jon in TMA was able to make people relive their supernatural expierences and tell them to him. Anyone else thinking that maybe this 'serial killer' might be a failed attempt at creating an archivist.

Reasons why Jon Archivist is truly a character of all time:
Had the police called on him several times when he was a young child
Keeps his rib and the ashes of the season one antagonist next to his stationary drawer
Promised he wouldnāt get lost in tunnels and then immediately got lost in aforementioned tunnels
Has no clue what a joke is
Learned how remarkably easy it is to buy an ax in central London
Had to have two separate interventions
Told people his place of employment before traumatising them for life

Allegedly participated in amdram
Watches documentaries and collects some kind of weird shit (my headcanon is Soviet Union postcards) when heās not being a paranoid mess
