commissions will be on a break for some time. i don't know when i will be able to do art consistently again.
i lost both of my cats to cancer and pneumonia in the span of 2 weeks. losing them both so close together is a lot. despite me and my fiancé doing everything we could to save them, surgery, medications, checkups and intensive care, we were powerless to stop it and they succumbed to their sickness. the only thing giving me solace is knowing they both passed away calmly and without pain in their sleep. i just wish they knew how much we love them and how we treasure their unconditional love. i'm grateful for every moment i got to share with them. i wish we had more time.

i don't think i ever explained seir's appearance at all.
his original form was very similar to hermaeus mora in smaller scale, as he was literally created from his tentacle. once his dad almost obliterated him and seir's weak shreds of essence escaped to nirn, the slivers desperately sought out any weak life forces, like newborn mortals or beasts, to merge with in order to avoid fading away to await reforming, or even worse, being merged back with his father and losing autonomy.
only two survived and the rest were lost to the void. one merged with a newborn bosmer, and the other landed in an owl's nest. these two would grow up like mortals normally do, reunite thanks to weird twists of fate and become friends, and tragically end up being merged because of their own hubris once more later in life, combining elements of their once mortal forms.

a quiet kid from baldur's gate, eastway.
kaamos was raised as a girl but he gradually transitioned over the years while growing up 🏳️⚧️
his single mom was a drow healer and worshipped eilistraee, but her religious teachings did not stick with her adopted child. which is not surprising, her kid being a bhaalspawn.
(edit: adding more lore!)
when his mom found him as a baby on her doorstep, she thought the child was a gift from her goddess, a blessing for her devotion, but that couldn't be further from the truth lol. instead she was a victim of brood parasitism and got a prominent bhaalspawn.

behold my durge (kaamos) and his half-assed tent.
he doesn't care much about decorating his area — he's more concerned about survival and being able to skedaddle asap if needed.
he has little to none personal belongings, but among them you can find maps, books, arrow crafting materials, and a single mindflayer tadpole specimen.
kaamos prefers dimly lit spots at the edges of a campsite.
a lone survivor of his old messenger crows joins him in act 2 and stays near his tent! the player can drive it off, but kaamos will greatly disapprove, and the bird will return the next time you take a long rest.
at night he can be seen a) maintaining his weapons (bow and shortsword), b) observing the tadpole, or c) interacting with the crow.
kaamos builds a tent only in act 1 and 2. in act 3 he will sleep inside buildings found at the campsite instead. he simply doesn't see a reason to build a tent when there's a (usually) more sturdy building with a roof right there.

our cat gomo has become deaf after inevitable surgeries, which has caused her to seek out me and my fiancé for comfort more often, and to sleep on my lap especially when i'm working. most of the time i don't have the heart to move her. alas, my shrimpification has since taken a turn for the worse.
