ppl drawing chilchuck with facial hair body hair chiseled jaw etc what's the deal with that. it's like kind of significant that he does not have that. because he looks very young to other races. does anyone remember that?

laios is the only one who sees him as an adult. because halflings are commonly mistaken for younger than they are because they often resemble the young of other races and that's a significant part of their worldbuilding and of chilchucks character.

I guess part of why I dislike this ummm... trend? is because I kind of object to changing kuis designs so arbitrarily, when she puts so much thought into her character designs, especially when it's a part of the design that is clearly intentional and important. and part of it is that i can't help but feel that a significant portion of the people doing this are doing so because they ship him with other characters or consider him a sexyman and perhaps unconsciously are trying to correct for how fucking weird it looks to draw a character who looks like a human twelve year old in such poses and situations. because it is weird.
