The willow tree scene is kind of heartbreaking because I don't think it went quite how Colin hoped. I think he thought she also felt this crazy shift between them after their kiss and would maybe want to START courting. When she says we cannot continue our lessons, and he says kind of excitedly "I agree!" I think he thinks she means, because she wants him to court her instead. Further implied when he asks for clarification on why, asking if it is "because of what happened between them" alluding to her possible feelings towards him. But of course Penelope's dream of Colin reciprocating her feelings is virtually dead she doesn't even entertain the idea that the kiss could've been as intense for him as it was for her. And he looks so taken aback when she says they should keep their distance, which is literally the opposite of what he wanted. and he still wishes her happiness, even while he's dying inside.

Ahh yeah thank you! Itās not something that actively bothers me. I just donāt want to constantly see /neg posts clogging up my tl. I donāt wanna scroll down my tl and see people shitting on Tina, foolish or Karl. I wanna see people calling dream pookie and George a kitten š Like I couldnāt care less what ccs who donāt like the dteam are doing. Weāre dtblr weāre here for dteam lmao! It was just something on my mind I wanted to see if anyone else noticed.
I do agree itās much more normal to just not care about those people then just blindly hate on them. Thank you for your advice and your perspective :D
Iām not sure if others will agree with me, but if I have actively enjoyed and watched someoneās content and they and dteam donāt seem to be friends anymore or at least donāt interact I canāt just not watch them??
Like I do understand the mindset of āonce someoneās wronged dteam I canāt be a fanā but for me itās not so easy to just stop! I also know some people just didnāt like ccs and thatās fair everyone can have an opinion
I love the dteam, and dream is my favourite person ever. But I also grew attached to others and to me personally if they seem to have no bad blood/ donāt actively shit talk dteam. I canāt just easily drop them.
I know there are no rules and maybe this is me over analysing but that seems to be the case with a lot of dteam fans ( and as I said I seen that mindset I understand you) but it sucks to see the fandom constantly shit on others ccs, when I just wanna come here to talk about the dteam and not every person who they havenāt talked to in 6 months.
Idk this was just a rant, I guess I wanna find more people who watch the dteam but also still like their old friends/ watch others. Most people who like other ccs hate the dteamš sim. I know I canāt dictate what people say on their blog, and im not at all trying to, I just wish when the fandom was bored we didnāt just go down the shit posting route.

Someone pointed out how Colin is the first Bridgerton man to actually take initiative when it came to his love interest.
When Simon realized he was in love, he would have rather died than confront those feelings and his trauma about his father.
When Anthony realized, he still went forward with his plans to marry Edwina (until SHE was the one who broke it off at the literal last minute) as she was TECHNICALLY who he was looking for and it was better than confronting his trauma.
When COLIN realized he was in love, he broke ever social rule in the book to be able to get Pen, which includes but is not limited to interrupting her dance with Debling, and chasing down her carriage.
And YES, Simon did have trouble with his abusive father which led him to doubt if he was loveable, and Anthony had to see what his mother went through when her husband died. Yes, these did stunt them emotionally about loving people.
But REMEMBER that Colin is the son who most donāt take seriously, the odd one out, and likely the biggest people pleaser out of the bunch. Plus the last time Colin believed himself in love, he not only got his heart broken, he also got publicly humiliated, drew his family to shame, and was never able to be taken seriously until he changed his entire persona. Not saying he had it just as bad, BUT I do know people who are FAR more emotionally stunted for FAR less.
Anyway, love Colin, and kudos to him for being the first Bridgerton man to take the first initiative to get what he wants as quickly as he did.

I think whatās vital to understand about Kick is that there are no ads which means unless you are purchasing a subscription, you are not financially supporting the website. I would not expect you to know that since you allegedly do not watch streams there, but there are not any ads on the website. Kick is a billionaire side project money pit thatās mostly funded through money the owners make through other avenues. Itās why they were so willing to dump insane amounts of money into contracts for streamers like Amouranth or XQC in an attempt to keep growing their platform and bringing a wider user base there.
Additionally, the things you cite are not happening in Sapnapās chat. Transphobia and other abhorrent things are banned in his chat. He is not IRL streaming in public and harassing people. These are not values he has been shown to personally uphold, nor does he interact with anybody on the platform who does promote those behaviors. You are within your right to not watch Kick streams. But it isnāt fair to attempt to guilt others for choosing to watch Sapnap streams there, or to refuse to look at it with any nuance whatsoever when the situations you are citing are not happening on his streams or in his chat.
Women have talked about moving there because they feel discriminated against by other platforms. Other small creators have moved there because they feel taken advantage of by Twitchās payout system and can make a better living with the Kick revenue split. There is more nuance to it than simply condemning an entire platform as something evil and horrible. Also, itās GOOD for Twitch to have competitors. They shouldnāt have a monopoly on being the only platform for creators to livestream like they do, especially with being owned by Amazon. Kick obviously has work to do in becoming better, but that work cannot be done without people who arenāt bigots moving there to attempt to make that change.
