I saw your post about gender and Harry’s song she. You mentioned Harris reed and what he refers to harry as, I’ve never noticed it before but what does he refer to harry as?

Interesting you should bring that up, as I was curious myself and recently went back over Harris’s instagram to see some examples and whether it’s changed over the past year or so. Here are some examples - 

‘a Silver Dream’ May 2018‘the golden boy’ May 2018 ‘one of the hardest working and loveliest artists I have ever met who understood how important acceptance and fluidity is’ December 2018‘Happy birthday to this kind soul’ February 2019‘Beyond grateful to have met this incredible being’ August 2019‘the fluidly handsome Harry Styles’ December 2019‘Happy birthday to this supportive and kind being’ Feb 2020I think ‘fluid’ is significant, as are the instances of ‘being’… Harris is genderfluid and calls their career ‘fighting for the beauty of fluidity’, so their use of that word can’t be accidental. It’s a “fine line”, as Harry would put it, between genderfluid expression and identity, but I see no reason to think Harry’s can’t be both, especially given all the times he’s blatantly identified with women.

Addendum: I don’t remember when, but I believe Harris changed their pronouns to “they” recently (although Harry Lambert used “he” at the onset of their career together).
