I wrote three tiny fanfic in the form of episode summaries about the CMC getting their cutie marks! These are based on ideas I had way back when for how I might tackle this kinda big story challenge. In my vision each girl would get her own dedicated episode to the occasion to form a little three-part arc.
I wanted to play with the established idea that the CMC move on to helping other characters with their cutie marks, so I tried to highlight what each of them individually brings to the table in that effort. To do that I ended up ascribing them their own made-up ‘elements’, of inspiration, empathy, and perseverance, which I think is neat!

Scootaloo’s Small Day
Scootaloo still has no cutie mark, so the crusaders organize a blowout stunt show for her to display all her skills and earn her mark! It will definitely not backfire.
