i cannot believe ive resorted to writing this on fking tumblr bc ig and twitter have so many people i know but lol my mother got pissed at me bc i didnt celebrate my birthday according to her plan (all i wanted was a movie and dinner and maybe a mani but she brought everybody for lunch and starbucks one for one that made everyone too full and did grocery shopping who the fuck does grocery shopping on her daughters 18th birthday) and in front of everyone at dinner (she wanted to bring my small birthday cake to sing birthday song but NO i hate it when that happens so i said no and she got pissed) she said she loves my brother and i for nothing. right to my face. and starts going on a self-depreciating rant, how shes an idiot for not getting a candle and how everything she does is met with almost no positive response (but i didnt even want to do anything she wanted to do i just wanted a movie but she completely ignored it) and now im Sad™️ i dont even know why i try to live up to her expectations anymore its so tiring and exhausting and i want no more but i cant and im sjzjsjshshxjsknhzjsnxbsbzhdjxbd .... if i make it to uni and can live in a dorm ,,,, imagine how happy i will be ... but for now im Sad so :/ idk is it too much to ask ... i didnt even want anything special but she always wants to make it a grand celebration ... the last thing i wanted was a birthday party but she really just doesnt care and brought up the same idea 3 times .... its so frustrating how she claims she wants the best for me but never actually listens to me, then does what she thinks is best for me (shes usually wrong) and gets mad when i dont show appreciation or some form of happiness but like what youre doing or what youre making me do isnt making me happy so what did you expect ... im so tired really i want out :(
