here is the palette I designed for this comic ^_^ I feel like i never see the palettes other artists use, hehe. I inched towards pastel for the beginning/end and harsh contrast for the climax of the story. I often dislike blue/red palettes, so i wanted to try designing something based on Rot and Dawn.

Next week, on Monday 5/20/24, at 5 PM PST, I will open a google form for two slots of magazine style illustration commissions! These will start at $200 each. The form will remain open until Friday 5/24/24 at noon PST, and two chosen applicants will move forward with a commission that afternoon.

I've not seen one single person take 90s/2000s magazine ads and reproduce their style at all, let alone so accurately. Amazing. Galaxy brained. Thank you so much because that aesthetic is weirdly important to me and I'm going to be thinking about those pieces all week.

Wowww, thank you! They're a lot of fun. Those magazines were so much fun as a kid, they're totally ironed into my brain... a lot of what I do has some references I use! ^^ but I fully recreate EVERYTHING..... even the quizzes in the bgs.... slowly.... so I'm glad they are enjoyed! Actually... this is actually a well timed ask, since I am planning to open up a single custom slot for one of these Y2K era magazine illustrations! I'll make a more formal announcement later this week! :)
