So I love Jessica Cruz, but why is she more popular in the Rwby fandom than the DC fandom. Literally go in her tag most of it is Rwby. And to be honest, good for her. If the DC fans can't treat her right, why not give her to the Rwby fandom? At least they acknowledge her existence.

it's actually super funny when you think about how the Superfam 🤝 Flashfam 🤝 Arrowfam 🤝 Wonderfam = basically all collectively being friends with and/or respecting the hell out of Dick Grayson

You think it's just Clark but no. Lois loves him. Post-Crisis!Kara thought of him as a mentor and big brother figure. Kon canonically thinks Dick is cool. And Jon looks up to Dick a lot (and obviously Clark literally put Dick in charge of looking out for Jon while he was off-planet)

And then you think it's just Roy, but no. Lian calls him "Uncle Nightwing," Dinah thinks he's good for Babs, Connor's generally chill with him, Emiko thinks he's nice and hot (lmao), and Ollie's apparently fond enough of him that we're told Dick is the one who named the Arrowcave

And then you think it's just Wally but no. Wally's kids love him, Barry likes him, he's on good enough terms with Bart to get a focus panel at Bart's funeral, he's led Jesse on two separate teams, and Jay's willing to swing by NYC with the rest of the JSA to help him move out of the Cloisters after Final Crisis

And THEN you think it's just Donna, but no. Diana watched him grow up and thinks fondly of him, and Cassie respects Dick enough that she not only took Damian onto the Teen Titans on a trial basis just because Dick asked but he's also the first person she calls when she thinks Tim's gone crazy after Bruce's death

truly the linchpin character of the DCU, we have no choice but to stan

collection of useful things tumblr has taught me:

even if you can't fall asleep, laying down with your eyes closed will still rest your body

you don't have to brush your teeth standing up

you don't have to do any chore standing up, from dishes to showering

you don't have to shower with the lights on

if you can't brush your teeth, flossing and a tongue scraper gets rid of plaque and bad breath

if you can't do that, mouthwash kills a lot of bacteria

eating "unhealthy" food is better than eating no food

you can make the same meal everyday for however long you still want it

some pills come in syrups or chewables if you can't swallow them

kids nutritional shakes can be a quick way to get fuel if you can't eat/don't have time

if walking hurts/exhausts you on a regular basis, canes and rollers are for you, no matter how young you are

we have free will—if doing something "out of the ordinary" makes life easier for you, do it

Hey so like I saw you fighting in the comments under a post mischaracterising Ollie and can i just say well done not many people actually talk about how damaging mischaracterisation can actually be for characters (my favourite is Constantine I understand) reading those comments was just baffling like why would someone post about a character they don't care about and then get snarky when people correct them it's crazy. Ah thanks. yeah, unfortunately, batstans who don't read make up a loud majority of DC tumblr so sometimes, the only think that works is being loud back.

Now, unfortunately, the physical trade that collects Connor Hawke's solo run as Green Arrow is indefinitely delayed (most likely cause most of the run is written by Chuck Dixon, who's now a very loud conservative ComicsGater despite Connor being black, asian and asexual-coded).
