Also, the whole ruining your life for money thing totally sounds like the behavior of someone with anger issues and self loathing, right?
I think they're totally the same guy. The timelines don't quite match up, but he's already proved to be an unreliable narrator, so.

fascinated by how "dislocate" seems to be a word used almost exclusively to refer to the misalignment of bodies, or parts of the body, from their proper place. it's distinctly anatomical. you don't say "i dislocated my keys" for instance, even though that's technically a correct and coherent sentence.
#i feel like “i misplaced my shoulder” has a much worse connotation than “i dislocated my shoulder”.#misplaced sounds like “yeah my shoulder is not attatched to my body anymore and i do not know where it is”
