Physically in Ireland While my Bleeding Soul is Held Hostage in Gaza

Being away from Gaza in the midst of a devastating war turns every second into a heart-wrenching vicious circle of pain. Simple everyday activities like having breakfast, drinking water, and going for a walk turn into heart-bursting torture. It is nearly impossible to focus on any of my studies or be productive when fear and guilt are holding my brain and soul as prisoners. Yet, as I was evacuated to Ireland to pursue my studies four months into the war, I had a responsibility to give lectures in my Irish college to students and staff to expose the crimes of apartheid Israel and tell the story of the daily suffering of my people during a genocidal war.

The West Bank is Palestine. It is a separate area from Gaza, under separate leadership. Israeli settlers and army and police keep raiding and killing people in the West Bank, more than 500 killed since October.

The US decides to sanction PALESTINIANS? Why can't they be armed on their own land? Israel can kill upwards of 50,000 Palestinians to defend itself, according to the US, Israel can raid the West Bank totally unrelated to Hamas, but Palestinians can't protect themselves?

And you want to know how far that unconditional support of Israel goes? At least two of the Palestinians killed in the West Bank, were American citizens. Boys shot in the head. Back in January and February. ANY consequences to Israel for that? Feel free to look up any recent news on Mohammad Ahmad al-Khdour or Tawfic Abdel Jabbar yourself.

For more than six months, my family has been trapped in Gaza during an unrelenting and brutal war. They have witnessed unimaginable horrors—experiencing profound loss, enduring constant terror, and surviving in perpetual fear. The war claimed the life of my brother Mohammad Taha, leaving behind his young wife and their one-year-old daughter. Our family home was destroyed, leaving them no place of safety. With no resources and limited options, their situation is desperate.

I've often seen this person's posts pop up, he's known for the number of cats he feeds, even before this, hence the username. The other day, I remember seeing that pic of him and that tiny little puppy on the beach and being cheered up by it. It's just so sad... they literally can't have anything.

Even when reading these comments from queer Palestinians, there are people in the notes arguing that they don't matter? That because queer rights don't exist in Palestine it means queer Palestinians don't deserve our solidarity.

What a backwards argument??? According to their own assumptions, queer Palestinians are doubly the victims then and deserve our sympathy and solidarity even more?

But I'd like to point out, by far the biggest threat to queer Palestinians is Israel:

How can you have any kind of identity as a queer Palestinian when you're literally not allowed to live as a Palestinian?

As pride month begins, let us not forget our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Caring for a baby on a daily basis is challenging enough even when you live in the comfort of your home with all basic necessities available and adequate healthcare at your disposal whenever you need it. Imagine being responsible for the safety and well-being of three newborns (and four other children) while a brutal relentless war is raging around you, displacing you from one hell to another that keeps getting worse each time. This is my family's struggle everyday since the beginning of this cruel onslaught on Gaza. The situation was already unbearably harsh when they were in the camp in Rafah. Now, that they have been displaced again to Khan Yunis,my family's suffering has only been intensified. Food, water and other basic needs are almost impossible to come by. In the sweltering heat, Our babies are surrounded by rubble, disease, garbage, insects and all sorts of dangers you can think of with no medical care whatsoever. The little baby formula they had has almost ran out and even if they were lucky to obtain more there is no water clean enough to prepare the bottles for three newborns. To say that these conditions are inhumane is an understatement but what's even more terrifying is that any promise of safety is nothing but a sham as the occupation keeps bombing supposedly "safe zones" since the beginning of this waking nightmare.

My family have lost everything they held dear, their home which they built after years of hard work and patience,loved ones and neighbours, their jobs and livelihoods,their memories, their dreams and any semblance of a normal life. These three little angels and their siblings are the only glimmer of hope they have left amidst all the darkness and despair. Please help them so they don't lose them too.

The family is living in a tent and aside from all the other trauma, the children are rapidly losing weight due to the lack of food and from hepatitis from polluted water.

Yet another person has resigned, one who has served for a long time and is not naive to what being in the US government requires.

The reason this report is so important is that if found in violation, Israel would have become ineligible to receive US weapons.
