Look closely and you’ll see how Regina George (Rachel McAdams actually) and Voltaire are the same person.

Thanks! I can only recall reading the last one but I'll definitely look them up ✨
5 favourite poems for the ask game? ✨
Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost. It's a short poem, but it's very pretty.
It Was Deep April by Michael Field. This one was written by a lesbian couple using a pen name, I especially enjoy the last lines.
The New Colossus by Emma Lazarus. My mom is an immigrant, so this one has always resonated with me.
To the Fair Clarinda by Aphra Behn. Another lesbian poem, I like how it uses both masculine and feminine terms to describe the "lover".
The Haunted Palace by Edgar Allen Poe. It's a spooky poem, I like it.

can you "get a lucrative job" or "contribute to society" with a major in philosophy? maybe not but what you can do is everyone's favorite party trick that has never annoyed anyone ever which is saying "you know what kant would say about this?" and then proceeding to tell them what kant would say whether they want you to or not

To be fair if someone deserves the C-word pass it's Caesar. You know, for his valiant efforts in Bithynia.

I fundamentally disagree with Thomas Jefferson and Mark Twain. "Never use two words when one will do," "don't use a five-dollar word when a fifty-cent word will do," I'm going to turn a single sentence into an essay and it's going to cost five hundred dollars per word because those are the right words to get across what I mean without ambiguity and misunderstanding, thankyouverymuch
