I'm Androgyne, trans, poly, and Androsexual/Androphilic (It the old school meaning of a non-binary person attracted to men inclusively, not any appropriated exclusionary meaning). I guess it's maybe Diamoric now? TERFs/NAZIs: Why we can't have nice things. Ze/zir/zim. Nec hoc nec illud is Latin slang for bisexual, but I use it because it translates loosely as "Neither one thing nor the other." I think this is a good description of me, even though I'm not bisexual. This tumblr is also neither one thing nor another. It's random stuff I'm randomly interested in. I don't do "reblog if you believe X" posts, as I feel they are coercive to the reader and if you read my stuff you already know what I believe.
I will generally answer non-troll asks. TERFs, SWERFs, and NAZIs can fuck right off somewhere else.

Do you know anything i can donate to for palestine that's not the gofundmes because the idea of having to choose who needs my money more is just. scary to me they all need it 3: maybe there's a thing that splits/distributes money evenly???? idk but help would be appreciated
Gazafunds actually deals with this anxiety and makes a decision for you if you want. Their home page has a spotlighted fundraiser and the code consider things like how close the gfm is to finishing, when the most recent donation is, etc. So it's randomized to help as many people as possible.
There's also @helpgazachildren which if you donate, you can help multiple people at once since it's a whole mutual aid fund, or at least close to it. Hussam distributes money to people who need it when he's asked.

Hello everyone,
Brazil is underwater, and we come here asking you for your help.
As some of you may know, the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS) has been getting torrential rains since last Monday (29/04/24).
In four days, it has rained 436,2 millimeters (17,2 inches), which’s triple the normal amount in a month, which is 140 millimeters (5,5 inches)
More than two great rivers in our region had their volume duplicated, or sometimes, triplicated in size.
This means all the cities that are close to these rivers ended up completely underwater
There were more than 110 towns flooded and the estimate is that more than half a million people have been affected by this climate disaster. There are also thousands of people who are arriving in my city (the state capital, Porto Alegre) as climate refugees, coming from communities displaced by the floods.
Through this unprecedented tragedy we have been really happy to see entire communities mobilizing to help others. Still, there are people who have lost everything, especially those in marginalized communities living in precarious, unsafe and unsanitary housing.
That’s where you come in. We need money. Money to buy food, clothes, medicine, basic hygiene products, mattresses so that refugees have a place to sleep, basically everything.
Right now, the biggest demand is drinkable water: my city is almost completely out of water, because the water treatment stations have been flooded.
We understand that you may be able to give very little, but also what is little to you means A Lot more to us. Just a dollar is enough to buy 5 liters of fresh water.

La vue, égayée par les coquelicots, est très belle sur le Vieux-Port, la tranchée vert platane de la Canebière jusqu'à l'église des Réformés, puis sur l'abbaye Saint-Victor aux tours médiévales, surplombée par Notre-Dame de la Garde.

In 1958, LIFE Magazine invited Marilyn Monroe and photographer Richard Avedon to recreate images of five celebrated actresses of five different eras. The story entitled “Fabled Enchantresses”, featured Monroe as Lillian Russell - turn-of-the-century American actress and singer, Theda Bara as Cleopatra, Clara Bow - the “IT” girl, Jean Harlow (Her Idol) and Marlene Dietrich as Lola Lola in The Blue Angel. The piece was part of the magazine’s December 22 “Christmas” issue and included an article by Marilyn’s playwright husband, Arthur Miller, entitled “My Wife, Marilyn”.
