Regulus black always looked up to Sirius and wanted to be like him but when he got sorted into Slytherin Sirius stopped talking to him and he was breaking bit by bit every time he saw Sirius happy without him and when Sirius finally ran away to the Potters was when he finally broke and became a death eater and then died thinking that Sirius was happy without him and hates him and that he wouldn't care if he died... I'm sorry.

Headcannon #1
that James learned french from Sirius because he wanted to really show his love for lily without her knowing and after he did he would randomly say things to her in french and she had no idea what he was saying and eventually she got too frustrated and just learned french on her own over the 5th year summer and when she went back in her 6th year she knew what he was saying and knew that he truly liked her and was not just jokingly asking her out all the time and when she fell in love with him remembering it only made her fall more in love with him.
some of the things he would say were like;
"bonjour mon amour, je pense que tu es absolument magnifique aujourd'hui"
"bonjour ma belle j'aime ton sourire il me rend encore plus amoureux de toi"
