2024 Gift Exchange Schedule
June 1st, 2024- Sign ups open, first opportunities for requests and offers begin
June 29th, 2024- Sign ups close, all requests and offers are finalized, and cannot be edited any more.
July 1st, 2024- Assignments are sent out, and the period for writing/submission begins.
August 2nd, 2024- Submission period closes, all works must be completed and turned in.
August 9th, 2023- Works are released, and participants receive their gifted fics.

Hi! There will be a day where you can rec’ old works (most definitely including your own), but the goal is to create new works of all fan appreciation!
Two’s A Pair, Three’s A Party
Welcome to the Two’s A Pair, Three’s A Party Event Week! The (double) week begins June 3 and ends June 17 at midnight.
The theme for this week is polyships! As in any ship that features more than two people! All other related holidays and concepts- Pride Month, rarepairs, overall relationships- any of these things may be featured, along with the characters and concept of the Newsies fandom!
Due to the specificity of this week, please refrain from works that heavily feature a related couple as the main plot point. That is not the point of this week. Furthermore, please refrain from works that heavily feature cheating as an extension of a polyship. It would be preferred for it to not be used as angst, either. That is also not the point of this week. We are not here to add to unnecessary stigma. Please do not write a Jatherine fic and ignore the prompt just because you aren’t a Jack/Katherine/Davey fan. There will be opportunities for those types of work at a later date.
Acceptable submissions for the week include written works, artwork, playlists, and moodboards (if interested in submitting a creation of another variation, please refer to the rules/FAQ or ask moderators).
The collection will be posted May 31 on AO3! You may submit finished works to this collection before June 3, but they will not be announced or displayed until the week officially begins.
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

Someone said that modern Spot has mastered separating work and personal affairs and only one person knows both sides of him because they ran into him at the store and saw that he had a bunch of tattoos and piercings and was actually pretty punk but this person has been sworn to secrecy and I would like to take it a step further and say that one day Race visits him at work because he left his lunch or something and then gets to babbling about their date later that night but never says the word "date" and then leaves, and everyone in the office is like "who???" and Spot just says something like "oh that's just Racer" and when they ask more questions about who "Racer" is he just tells them he's "a physicist" or that they "live together" or he's someone Spot "met in college" and he never says a word about them literally being married.
