Can you tell me a bit about Gabriel he looks kinda cool?

Of course, thanks for your interest! Always happy to talk about my characters.

In my setting angels are slowly degrading into mere winged humans. Few of them who are still born with godly powers of their ancestors are known as True angels, Gabriel is one of them. Nowadays due to the current ruler's efforts his kind is no longer welcome in the City in Heavens so he fled down to the human realms along with his friend Azrael. There their paths diverged.

Ever since his descent Gabriel was traveling the lands disguised as a modest herbalist and healing people in need. Later on he learned that by helping others he gives away his life force and thus greatly shortens his own lifespan... And yet, he persisted.

During his lifetime he saved lives of several key characters of the story, making a huge impact on the world.

(Also no, those aren't sandals, just anatomical sabatons with their plates shaped to resemble toes)

As humans of my setting struggle with magic usage, each Paladin receives a tattoo that concentrates and guides the flow of magical energy inside their body for more efficient spellcasting. The gems adorning left hand's armor are there to enhance its effect and to serve as a reserve storage of magical energy.
