Hani is a young man residing in Belgium. He left Gaza for Italy to represent Palestine in a skate competition. Unfortunately, he could not participate since his life has been irrevocably altered since then. He has lost his father, his home, and now lives in constant fear of losing the rest of his family. At just 23 years old, Hani is facing unimaginable stress and hardship.

His house was destroyed, leaving his family displaced and living in tents, and his father lost his life in the attack on Al-Shifa Hospital. This heartbreaking injustice has left Hani as the sole hope for his family's survival. He bears the immense responsibility of saving ten family members: his sisters, including two toddlers aged 2 and 3, three minors, and his 18-year-old brother.

Hani is less than half-way to his goal, and urgently needs to evacuate his family. Hani's house was destroyed on October 13th, and since then, his family has been displaced, living in tents.

On September 15th, his father lost his life due to the attack on Al-Shifa Hospital. Because of this terrible injustice, Hani is now the only hope for saving his family - which consists of 10 members: his sisters (which includes two toddlers: a 2 and 3 year old), 3 minors, and his 18-year-old brother.

Hunger Striking for Palestinians

The genocide in Gaza has been going on for way too long. War crimes are being committed against the general population and causing widespread devastation and catastrophic levels of destruction, displacement, and starvation.

Next week, I am starting a hunger strike to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza. I invite you to support me by sponsoring my hunger strike.

To support this (safe) hunger strike, I would like you all to contribute to my dear friend Hani’s (@skatehani) GoFundMe campaign, in order to help his family evacuate.
