Throughout the first five months of the war, both my big sister and my sister in law had been pregnant. They had to endure constant displacement and unspeakable horrors on top of pregnancy discomforts. The few times I was able to reach my sister, she would keep praying not to go into labor before that nightmarish reality ended.
Sadly, things did not go her way. The war was raging when she gave birth to beautiful baby Ossama, and it still is ongoing. Almost at the same time my brother and his wife had sweet baby twin girls, Ritaj and Rital. The three little angels are rocked to sleep by the sound of bombs and buzzing drones instead of lullabies. Due to the unsanitary conditions in their tent and formula scarcity, the newborns have been constantly suffering from acute respiratory infections as well as slow weight gain. The only medical care they were getting was that of an overcrowded field hospital with limited resources, and even that is now denied to them as my family has been forcibly evacuated again from Rafah to Khan Yunis where nothing is left but rubble.
As you may well know, many babies in Gaza are lost while waiting for consideration. The doctors previously insisted that the little ones would fail to thrive and fully recover if they stayed in the same unhealthy environment.

Despite everything, these babies are a source of hope and strength for us. Please don't let them fade away. My family is barely holding on for their sake and that of their older brothers and sisters.

We would be forever grateful for any kind of support.
Please donate if possible and reblog as often as you can 🙏

Giving birth is a profound and transformative experience for any mother, but the stark contrast between bringing a child into the world during a war and in a peaceful environment is heart-wrenching. Imagine the emotional turmoil and physical hardship faced by mothers who deliver their babies in the midst of conflict, within the confines of a makeshift tent, surrounded by the constant threat of danger.
For my friend’s @bilalhammadsblog sister and sister-in-law, the journey to motherhood was fraught with fear and uncertainty. Instead of the calm and controlled environment of a hospital, they endured labor amidst the chaos of war, with explosions and gunfire as their background noise. The tent that served as their delivery room was a far cry from the sterile, well-equipped birthing suites that most mothers have. There was no access to pain relief, professional medical care, or the comforting presence of loved ones.
The conditions were harsh and unsanitary, increasing the risk of infections and complications. The lack of clean water, proper nutrition, and essential medical supplies made every moment perilous. These mothers had to summon unimaginable strength and resilience, not only to give birth but also to protect and care for their newborns in such dire circumstances.
Tumblr media
In contrast, mothers in peaceful settings prepare for childbirth with a sense of excitement and anticipation. They attend prenatal classes, have regular check-ups, and often create a birth plan with their doctors. Their biggest concerns might be about the birth itself or the baby's health, but they are surrounded by support and resources. Hospitals are equipped with advanced technology, skilled professionals, and all the necessary amenities to ensure a safe and comfortable delivery.
For these war-affected mothers, there is no such assurance. Their overwhelming joy at meeting their babies is tinged with the constant worry of how to keep them safe and healthy in an environment that is anything but. The basic comforts and reassurances that should accompany childbirth are replaced by the harsh realities of survival.
Every cry of their babies is a reminder of the fragility of life in a war zone. The emotional toll is immense, as they grapple with the fear of losing their children to preventable illnesses or injuries caused by the surrounding conflict. The physical exhaustion from childbirth is compounded by the stress of providing for their newborns in such conditions, often without adequate rest, food, or medical care.
Tumblr media
Despite these overwhelming challenges, these mothers display an extraordinary level of courage and love. They hold on to hope and fight every day to give their children a chance at life, even in the face of such adversity. Their strength is a testament to the incredible resilience of the human spirit, even in the darkest of times.
Please open your hearts 🤍
and donate to support these courageous mothers and their precious newborns. Your generosity can provide the essential care and comfort they desperately need during this harrowing time. Every donation is a lifeline of hope and love for these innocent lives. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Share the 🍉!! Free Palestine🗣️
I’m hoping this post can help others realize how easy & non-stressful it is for us to help💛🍉
Donate at Care for Gaza: https://www.gofundme.com/f/CareForGaza
Or if you’re wanting to support a specific family but are feeling overwhelmed by choice - the site Gaza Funds can choose the GoFundMe for you!
Every time you refresh, it rotates through & spotlights different fundraisers depending on their goal/when their last donation was, helping every GoFundMe get seen: https://gazafunds.com
It can make anyone feel helpless to see the horrifying statistics every day - but don’t let the fear of not knowing enough, not doing enough, or being an “imperfect” supporter silence you !! we can’t turn away.
There are SO many ways to help! I wanted to make a support post to list out how easy it is - & how we can recenter the focus on sharing donation links, continuing to spread awareness about the genoclde, & encouraging others to speak out without ever making someone feel bad!
“Guilt-tripping” can often be seen as performative activism even if they’re coming from an authentic place, & it typically ends up turning people away from the cause.
let’s all work TOGETHER, instead🍉
*I included some bsd characters to create an easy-to-read, approachable post, & since bsd is what I typically draw/post - hopefully it’ll get pushed/shared/not fIagged! I’m also going to tag the post as such, for the same reason. (no correlation between the show/specific characters shown here & the cause)
Spread the watermelon around🍉🍉🍉
originally posted on my insta sarahdeleonart, where it’s also shareable🍉

In Pisa, an italian city (in Tuscany), a group of teens manifested against the Palestine genocide. The cops, not happy with what those teens were doing, and obviously very dangerous because they were armed with placards and banners, decided to beat them up without remorse.
Remeber this 'cause we are not going to forget.

Bearing a child born in the midst of war and siege touches hearts and raises feelings of sadness and pain, especially when we think about the deprivation this child is exposed to of his most basic human rights to safety

These are Omar(2) and Salah(5), Bilal's nephews. 8 months ago, they were enjoying the warmth of their home and being pampered by their parents and everyone in the family. The pictures below are from Omar's first birthday. Bilal told me how he was the one who prepared everything for the surprise party. He was, then, so excited to gather the whole family and give Omar a memorable first birthday and bring joy to everybody.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, Omar and Salah are going through hardships no child should be experiencing. They are surrounded by rubble and unsanitary conditions wherever they go; not to mention the random bombings that threaten their lives every moment of every day. Omar took his first steps while being displaced in a tent in Rafah. Imagine your baby learning to walk in a refugee camp under the constant buzzing of drones! The children and the whole family had to endure the cold winter and being drenched by rain in their flimsy tent, and now they have to go through the unbearable heat in the same inhumane circumstances. As if all this suffering wasn't enough, the occupation is currently asking everyone in Rafah to evacuate again, even the hospitals!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The survival of Omar, Salah, and the whole family in now more than ever at stake. Bilal has been in Germany for a year or so now. The thought that he might never get to see his beloved nephews again haunts him every day. He humbly asks for your support to help him keep his loved ones safe until he has the chance to reunite with them, hopefully as soon as possible. Please donate any amount you can spare and reblog this post. Every contribution can make a difference and restore the family's hope!

Today marks the 17th of April, which is Palestinian prisoner day…
on such an occasion we wish for all of our innocent and beloved detainees and prisoners who have been put (without a charge, or because of wrongful and false accusations) inside the occupation’s prisons to very soon be released, to be able to experience life between us as it is and to gain back their freedom that they have been deprived from for months, if not even years or decades.
we wish that in a few years, when it is again the 17th of April, we’ll be looking back at this day and date in a Free Palestine while telling these stories of detainment and imprisonment as something of the past that will never bother us or come upon our lives to ruin them ever again.
on this day, we wish for the mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, daughters, sons, grandchildren and friends of those imprisoned to have endless amounts of patience, faith and hope until their loved ones are released.
الحرّية لأسرى الحرّية 🍉

For Historical Context : The Palestinian National Council chose April 17 as Palestinian Prisoner’s Day in 1974 because it was the date that Mahmoud Bakr Hijazi was released in the first prisoner exchange between Israel and Palestine in 1971.

summary : after a long night at a bar, Ellie had enough when you started flirting back at a stranger, though she knew you would never cheat, she was still mad.

"The fuck was that?!" Ellie shouted as you both walked inside your shared apartment after a long silent car ride. "Stop being dramatic." you stated, quickly coming to your own defense. "Fucking sex jokes? Flirting? Really?! Fuck, Y/N!" Ellie said as she slowly approached you before she continued, "..fucking strip..right.. now." Ellie said strictly which made you hold and hide a smirk because, damn, did you love hearing those words.
You slowly took off your top and then slowly your skirt after. "Couch." Ellie demanded to which you immediately accepted, and as you made your way over, Ellie was not too far away. Ellie waited for you to situate yourself on the couch before she immediately straddled you, aiming her rough kisses at your neck before moving down. Suddenly a moan escape your lips, "...Els.."
"I know baby, I know." Ellie said as she propped herself up on her elbows before leaving kisses all over your stomach and soon enough Ellie took off her own shirt before kissing you and finding the clip to your bra. "Can I, princess?" Ellie asked softly but intimidatingly and you nodded. "Words baby. I wanna hear you say it." Ellie whispered onto your lips as you both kept eye contact. "Yes..please.." you softly asked. "Good girl..just like that mama." Ellie said before removing your bra and examining your body. "My beautiful girl.." Ellie immediately cupped one tit with her hand while taking the other in her mouth. "Fuuhcck, Els.." you moaned out while covering your face and then suddenly Ellie stopped and looked up at you as one tit was still being cupped. "Move your hand. Eyes down here baby." Ellie said in sort of a raspy whisper. You looked down at Ellie where she was straddling you, "...Don't stop." you whined out.
Ellie chuckled and moved down past your stomach. "So fucking needy baby." Ellie kissed the insides of your thighs taking her sweet time. "I think someone forgot how they let a stranger talk dirty to them." Ellie teasingly cooed. "I'm sorry Els..please I need you s'bad." you whined once again. "Y'look so pretty begging f'me." Ellie said as she moved to your clothed slit that had an obvious wet spot. "So soaked baby." Ellie slowly slid the remaining clothing down your legs onto the floor. "So fucking gorgeous...whose it for hm?" Ellie tease, making you whine out. "Yours! i'm all yours, please." You could tell Ellie wasn't gonna make this easy. "Hmmm? I can't hear you baby, cmon." Ellie knew you were getting frustrated. She loved getting that satisfaction after what you did at that bar. "I'm yours Ellie! please..fuck me.." you begged. Ellie chuckled with a smug smirk on her face. "Such a good fucking girl..but you gotta be patient f'me okay?" Ellie gently spread your legs before tasting your soaked cunt. "Oh f..fuck." You instantly bucked your hips until Ellie pinned them down. "Keep lookin' at me baby, you taste s'good mama."
Ellie soon enough began lapping your folds and finding that bundle of nerve's that her tounge swirled and her lips sucked. "Els..Els.Elselselselsssss fuck! fuck fuck!" you chanted as she added her digits and you eventually felt the knot build in your stomach. Ellie knew how to make you cum even without effort. "Cmon baby, let it go f'me, you can take it." Ellie said into your dripping cunt. "Fuck Els! I'm gonna..-" You were suddenly cut off when Ellie added another finger, causing you to arch up and pull at her hair, and soon enough, you rode out your orgasm. Ellie made sure to slow her pace as you came down so she wouldn't overstimulate you. Ellie brought her fingers up to your mouth.
"Y'did so good pretty." Ellie said as she kissed you n stroked your hair with her free hand, and as soon as you were relaxed she left the room quickly. "Ellie?" You asked for her softly, and before you knew it she came back with a warm cloth and a cup of water. She even had a robe around her shoulder that she would put on you after her sweet aftercare. 💞💞
