I don't consider myself to have any sort of wide reach, but I can't standby and not post about it. Please see the link below for resources, information, and more information regarding the Genocide in Gaza.

VERY IMPORTANT ARTICLE FROM CNN, PLEASE SHARE!
The “prison” that Israel has for Palestinians is more like a concentration camp as the people arrested and taken there are stripped and put into grey jumpsuits, hands tied with zip ties so tight that some of the people have developed wounds from them and allegedly one person had to have an amputation because of the zip ties. They are forced to sit on thin mattresses in uncomfortable stress positions for hours even if they have been cleared for having no affiliations with Hamas.
Tumblr media
Dr.Mohammed Al-Ran was held in this “prison” for 44 days even after he was cleared for having no ties to Hamas during his first week, after he was given the role known as Shawish “supervisor”. People given this role are normally prisoners who have been cleared of suspected links to Hamas after interrogation and are now made to be a kind of intermediary between the guards and prisoners.
Please if you have the time please read this article and share it around. Hold Israel accountable for their abuse of innocent Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, don’t let them get away with this. There is absolutely no reason to hold someone prisoner once they have been cleared let alone abuse them.

people saying that blocking celebrities just means you're bitter abt them having money like... no ? it's not about people making money. it's about them not using their extensive resources to help people with none. then they wanna say it's an extension of cancel culture but again... no ? nobody is saying to outright cancel them but to understand that your attention can be put in a different place. these people have had so long to speak up and try to help the people of Palestine or Sudan or the Congo and they chose to put their time and effort into other things. now we will put our time and effort into other things !
and they will continue to be blocked by me even after they start raising awareness bc 1. ik their cult followers will stick w them no matter what anyone says or what they do so they'll always have some type of platform. 2. it gives me the ick that they only want to speak up when people start ignoring them like they ignored the genocide for so long.

The last couple of days I’ve seen the most posts about RAFAH then before. If that is the same case for you, it means you are doing something right. In a world full of suffering and heartbreak, the least we can do is give our support to the ones living it (and that support doesn’t have to be financial if you can’t do so, just sharing and spreading also has a huge impact).
I’ve spend my hours reblogging/sharing, commenting and liking every post I see. If you can, please do so aswell. Just liking and scrolling does not lead to any benefit.
And I also want to say that I am very proud of everyone who have been actively posting or supporting the ones that need us the most right now. We have to stick together ❤️ because we could be in their place.
Here a Tiktok by @heyahayahi if you want to see the support given so far:

Celebrity Blockout
As many celebrities have chosen to stay silent about the ongoing genocide in Gaza for the past 7 months, and for the many years that they’ve had their platform they have also chosen to be silent on the oppression of Palestinians, it is our duty as people to take away that platform away from them and try to affect them negatively until they hear the real truth and choose to stand on the right side of history.
So i highly encourage you to visit blockout.2024 on instagram and see the accounts they talk about which are accounts of celebrities and companies who are silent up until this moment (and make sure to try and block the same celebrities on other platforms such as tiktok or X…)
Such a step will show these influencers the consequences of not using their platforms properly and how they should not be so detached from reality, and how we will not let them benefit from our views anymore…
Boycotting is not only materialistic, but it is also to disconnect from anyone and everyone who is not willing to fight or even say anything in favor of Palestinian rights.
Don’t give the platform to people who don’t deserve it ever again !

Thoughts on eurovision, since I was forced to sit through it with my family:
Absolutely disgusted by the amount of votes I*rael got. Absolutely vile. Over 300? Are you fucking kidding me? Even if they weren't committing mass genocide it was such a basic boring song. The zionists really pulling out all the stops for that sweet, sweet propaganda. Thank the stars they didn't win.
Still absolutely furious at what happened to Joost. Even if he was the most vile human being it shows the double standards within eurovision, kicking the entire country for one act but keeping Israel who, again, are committing a genocide as we speak. "United by Music" my ass. Fucking gross.
Despite all that, I'm still so proud of Nemo. Its really refreshing to see a young queer artist get represented like that, and they absolutely deserved it, as well as their speech when they got the trophy absolutely giving a little nod to Palestine. They were my number 1 choice and I would've voted for them if I wasn't trying to boycott. I really hope they have a promising career ahead of them, and it was also lovely to see the support they got from Bambie, and just generally how many queer artists were at eurovision this year, shame it was ruined by I*rael and the ebu

Amidst the harrowing devastation in Gaza, my family and I find ourselves in a desperate plea for your support. Our home has been demolished, and we have suffered the unbearable loss of family members due to the ongoing violence. Adding to this tragedy, there have been cases of rape that have left us emotionally shattered and in constant fear. We urgently need to evacuate to Egypt for our safety and well-being. However, the costs involved in such a relocation are beyond our means. Your donation can make a profound difference, providing us with the means to escape this turmoil, seek safety, and rebuild our shattered lives. Your generosity can be the beacon of hope that guides us to a brighter and safer future. Thank you for considering our situation and for any assistance you can provide.
hi.
unfortunately because of my current financial situation i cannot afford to donate money. however if there are any other ways i can contribute i will do so immediately.
thank you for writing in.

All eyes on Rafah. We cannot let this lose traction
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’ve seen so many posts of people arguing or being upset over this celebrity or that musician being shitty and supporting a genocide, not to say these conversations of people being held responsible shouldn’t happen, (they should). But if you’re going to spend so much time obsessing over celebrities, the least you can do is spend 2 minutes watching a video of someone who is actually in Palestine.
ALL EYES ON RAFAH
