First - she can make you think your husband is a werewolf when he’s only forgotten to shave.

Second - she’s always changing, making it difficult for slow painters to capture her likeness.

Third - tides. Absolutely bugger the tides.

Fourth - people keep associating the moon with femininity and frankly we’re fed up reading the same poetry over and over, and it’s all that celestial bint Selûne’s fault.
