ok, sorry if question is a bit long and if you have answered, please put the link for me to see please. Well... what are the names of the heroes? What was each heroe's first choice? (I mean the ladybug and cat holder). I know that Marinette is with the Fox and Ivan with the turtle, but for some reason I think that if they swap it would combine more (I speak more in symbolism, ivan who cannot lie with the "miraculous of lie"). What is the weapon of each carrier? About the turtle and Ivan, I think a purplish blue would match more (that leatherback turtle). What are the camouflaged forms of each miraculous? Do you have the reason why every person has every miraculous?

A big ask, but thats okay! I'd love to answer! Note that some answers like names and weapons are subject to change, im not great with names and im less familliar with some characters than others so, opinions and other ideas are awesome :)

Ridley (a type of turtle), Detatched shields- Bonus purpley-blue version: honestly it works just as well.

Tora (Japanese for tiger, i think), Sythe

R.A.T (acronym for Rodent Assist Team? idk, funny bit based on pokemons F.E.A.R strat lol, also sounds like a dj name??. also based on his purpose being mostly assisting pedestrians), Glow sticks (almost like a pair of lightsabers, without the deadliness. Basically glowing battons)

Boar, Boomerang (shaped like boar tusks).

Cirrus (a type of cloud, Aroure and Mirelle share the name and the miraculous), Lightning rod/ wind sock

Caprix (Play on Caprine), Chunky roller blades

Gibbon? (a type of monkey), one of those silly stretchy sticky hands

First choices are also listed there, if there isnt an alternative listed, they either had the same idea or no strong preference for a different holder. Regarding swapping holders based on symbolism (i.e. Ivan with the fox, Mari with the turtle) that would be super cool and i may draw them at some point in the future, but wouldn't fit with my au. This is because my bug and cat holders choose them based on preexisting relationships, traits, and talents.

Camouflaged forms are these:

Struggled with Alyas rabbit miraculous tbh, it doesnt quite fit with my au for it to stay a pocket watch anyway (the Rabbits power being swapped from Burrow in a time sense, to Burrow in a dig way) so i guess its normal activated form would be some kind of keychain? Alyas disguise currently is a tamogachi :)

Nino wears the mouse necklace wrapped around his wrist like a bracelet.

Max's snake bracelet turns into a smart watch.

Markovs claw connects to his existing claws, and mimics what claws he already has.

Mirelle and Aroure have similar chokers with the charm changed. Aroure has the lightning bolt, Mirelle has the rain drop. They have the chokers replicated by comission with Marinette so they can swap the actual miraculous between them when needed.

Sabrinas sunglasses are prescription. They could also be just normal glasses, no black tint, when appropriate.

Marcs ring, where rainbow, is iridescent!

The butterfly and peacock are still unavailable to our heroes.

I think my reply got eaten up by Tumblr on your golden sun post but I am loving it so much, I absolutely love how I don't care if I don't know which town to go to, I love how my strat has been for Isaac to cure after every battle (I just got water girl I forgot her name but I love her), I love how I don't know the most optimal strats for djinn, because it's been so fun swapping them with each character to see synergy.

I saw you say Isaac is ground, garet is fire, Ivan (? I think that's his name I feel he's a blorbo) is wind, and water girl is (obviously) water? Does that mean I stack each djinn of the same element on the characters?

I stopped myself from playing it this morning because I knew I would have lost track of time and missed my puzzle day with friends.

I feel like after I've experienced the 2 games I will want to consume any and all media connected to it.

In conclusion: aaaaaaaaaa

I think the fact that Camelot made it so your lead protagonist is a essentially a paladin was super smart.

It makes it so Isaac has a multitude of capabilities and roles you can use him as throughout the games but ALSO showcases that he's a caring person that, while often forced to use his weapon to defend himself, he's equally capable of healing the harm done. It's thematic AND functional!

You do NOT need to give each party member a Djinn of the same type. In fact Golden Sun ENCOURAGES YOU to switch/swap and mix/match them with different elements to give your characters new skills and stats they otherwise wouldn't without.

As you get more Djinn you're able to rank up the classes for each character as they stand in Mono-Element types.

Case in point, Issac goes from Squire > Knight > Gallant > Lord > Slayer as you find more Venus/Earth Djinn.

BUT by adding different Djinn you can unlock Dual-Element classes for him like Dragoon by mixing 3 Mercury/Water Djinn and 3 Venus/Earth Djinn.

And there's a WHOLE BUNCH OF COMBOS! So experiment! And later on in the series you can do Tri-Element combo classes!

Build your characters how you want!

I'm glad you're enjoying it BUT ALSO when it comes to any and all media connected to it... you'll find yourself scraping the bottom of the barrel. Aside from a few little (not-really-canon) comic things, the only real Golden Sun content is just the three games.

Fuck it, OFMD E-sports/gamer/streamer AU + Valorant headcanons (ft. The rest of the Revenge crew):

Ed is a popular streamer under the user “BlackbeardX0” who is most known for his Valorant streams. He duos with Izzy (username “BasilicaHandsX0” – yes he made it so he was matching with Ed), who isn’t a streamer but has a lot of fans within Ed’s Twitch community because basically everyone but Ed can see that Izzy is absolutely smitten with him and wanna see how that trainwreck ends.

Louis is a big fan of Ed’s streams and in the midst of the divorce™️, Stede starts watching them with him to try and connect more with him. He instantly falls in love with Ed and gets the wild idea to reach out and sponsor him and fund his professional ESports team with his vast fortune, despite having NO idea what actually goes on in any of the games.

Izzy is skeptical (duh, who wouldn’t be?) but Ed is so fascinated by Stede’s email that he agrees to meet him for a quote on quote “business meeting”. They hit it off and so The Revengers (yes I’m mixing up OFMD and Thor: Ragnarok together it just works okay??) are born.

Stede and Izzy fall in hate at first sight but Ed needs Izzy on the team because half his amazing strats and moves all rely on Izzy being able to do his thing as support/healer so Stede has no choice but to let him join. However, because of Izzy’s overall attitude (read: toxic af) they don’t actually have other people who play with them regularly enough to join the team immediately (there’s Jack aka. “CalicoJackA$$” but he’s a bit of a wildcard and gets banned allll the time) so Stede has to venture out and find people to fill the roster. This is where the rest of the Revenge crew come in.

He finds Oluwande and Jim, a pair of up and coming Valorant streamers to join the permanent roster, and they recommend Roach who mostly does cooking streams but is also a top OP crutch player and so they have their full roster. On the bench they have Buttons, Wee John, Ivan, and Fang.

On the promotional/social media/technical side of the team they have Lucius (graphics and socials), Frenchie (sound and IT), Black Pete (editing and IT), and the Swede (HR).

Without further ado, (some, not all) my Revenge Crew Valorant headcanons:

Ed:

Yoru main

Loves a good fuckery using the teleports and fake teleports

A clutch god

Relies a lot on Izzy to heal/rez him when he tries new strats and set-ups

Usually proposes which site to push and what strat to use

Forgets to comm sometimes but when he does they’re pretty good

Izzy:

Sage main

A shameless pocket for Ed if he demands it (which is a lot of the time)

Not afraid to scream at his duelists (never Ed though) if they aren’t clearing site or protecting him during plant

Can clutch up every now and then, won’t be happy about it though

The epitome of the “a single mom who works two jobs” audio

Can be really toxic on comms or chat, has been penalised/banned several times because of this. He does not care. Will do it again.

Overall good comms, but he always sounds angry when he does

Jim:

Omen main

A sneaky bitch

WILL knife you from behind when you least expect it

A GOD at flanking and playing for picks

Will hold angles/be a rat if provoked enough

Actually knows how to use Omen’s teleport

Sometimes forgets to use their smoke (Olu has to remind them)

Proud owner of the RGX butterfly knife

Is a bit of a slow starter so tends to get underestimated a lot but once they know your movements you’re toast

Only comms after they’ve died

Oluwande:

KAY/O main

The perfect all-rounder, amazing comms and game sense

King of Assists

Can sometimes get distracted by Jim but overall it works out most of the time

Can switch to Brimstone if extra smokes are needed

Roach:

Chamber main

OP crutch

A one-tap demon

Will destroy enemy team morale with a cig hanging out the side of his mouth

Not the best team player, will bait you and is not sorry for it (he might apologise if he loses after baiting you, which is very rarely)

Trolls in All chat a lot

Terrible comms, he doesn’t know the name of anything

Will get straight up toxic if up against another Chamber

Buttons:

Cypher main

Knows something we don’t

Is actually…really good, infuriatingly good

Knows all the wildest set-ups for trips and camera

Has the weirdest comms though

Strat-O-Matic Creates Ultimate Family Rivalry With Father’s Day Series Simulation

For many families, baseball has been an integral part of Father’s Day for years, and although the pros won’t be on the field this Sunday to help dads celebrate with their children, Strat-O-Matic (www.strat-o-matic.com), the market leader in sports simulations, is keeping the tradition alive by playing out a seven-game series featuring some of the greatest fathers and sons to compete on the diamond. From Bobby and Barry Bonds to Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr. to Vladimir Guerrero Sr. and Jr. to Sandy, Sandy Jr. and Roberto Alomar, the Fathers and Sons teams, managed by big league skippers Bob and Aaron Boone, will battle it out, with results to be published on Sunday.

Some of the other father-son combinations featured on the respective 30-man squads are Tom and Dee Gordon, Dante and Bo Bichette, Clay and Cody Bellinger, Tony Gwynn Sr. and Jr., Craig and Cavan Biggio, Mel and Todd Stottlemyre, Ivan and Dereck Rodriguez, and Lance McCullers Sr. and Jr. Strat-O-Matic will utilize the best seasons of these standout players in creating the “cards” used in the simulation. Toronto’s current trio of big league progenies Bichette, Biggio and Guerrero are among the standouts for the sons’ side.

“We wanted to find a uniquely ‘Strat-O-Matic’ way to pay tribute to fathers enjoying baseball with their sons and daughters on their special day,” said Hal Richman, Strat-O-Matic founder, whose son Adam is the company president. “With so many fathers and sons, many of them Hall of Famers and All-Stars, on rosters throughout baseball history, this fun simulation will highlight some of the best family connections the sport has known.”
