Been thinking about The Wire again, specifically about that one moment when Julian hands off the bottle of kanar to Quark by putting it behind his back. That move was smooth as fuck and Quark was right there and ready for the toss, so to speak.
So what that tells me is that they've done this before. When patrons get too sloshed to the point that Quark thinks they need a doctor he calls Bashir to come and do alcohol intervention/deescalation. This is a practiced move between the two of them and another tiny (unintentional) window into the lives of DS9's residents during the quiet times.
No matter your fandom, or your first introduction to Lance Reddick - he was an incredibly talented actor, self admitted amateur gamer, loved comedy and was consistently open to new experiences in a way that's impressive.
We weren't ready to lose him, and I hope he's at peace.
Feel free to add more tags and gifs - I haven't even scratched the surface and I'm sure many of us would love to find new places he's waiting for us in cyberspace.
What I hope is for this to finally be the mother of all shared universes.
A retroactive shared universe of over 900+ media consisting of movies, TV shows, video games etc. that is established and brought together by The Wildwood Chronicles. The whole universe explores completely different tones and aesthetics with all numerous kinds of stories. It's also a universe that's incredibly similar to ours except with very noticeable differences and is far more fantastical, bizarre or visceral. The biggest ones are the ostracized Marley and Eldia side with the man-eating Titans, the cut-off zombie outbreak side with said zombies dubbed "walkers" and don't even get me started on the Observers. Oh, and did I also forget to mention there are public superheroes and supervillains in this world with their own guilds.
